Food is always delicious and there's so much variety, so it's great for a group when everyone wants something different. They even have vegan options, which is a nice bonus, and the staff was really friendly and accommodating when we had questions about dietary options. Last time we went, they made a mistake on one of our orders, but Laura, the owner, took care of it right away even though they were super busy. Stopped by Slides, Sliders & Fries after being recommended by the General Manager at Mavis Auto Care while we waited for our rental car tire to be patched--and it was the perfect call. The place has a great local vibe and a busy, energetic atmosphere. The cashier was pleasant, respectful, and gave excellent recommendations. It's definitely a hidden gem off the beaten path, but well worth seeking out--clearly a spot both locals and well-researched visitors find. We went to Sly's Sliders and Fries right before leaving Savannah. Saw this place on Tiktok so we had to try it. Ok, this is one of the first places in Savannah where the price matched with the portion. $3.75 for a slider and $1.50 for half tray of fries. Also $1 for a side of ranch, but can't complain it was a big portion of ranch. We ordered just the regular sliders, one without veggies (for me) and one with veggies (for my girlfriend). The patties themselves were flavorful, but it was really just the patty, I barely noticed the bacon. Bacon cut could've been thicker, or another piece of bacon; to make the layers for distinct. My girlfriend said she didn't realize there was bacon, she did enjoy the slider however. The fries were so good. It kind of reminds me of the In-n-Out well-done fries; superrrr crisp. The ranch was really good too, garlicky a little, and thick consistency. The service was fast and nice. We were one of the first people in, so everything moved smoothly. The ambience is very homey feeling, like I'm eating in someone's home - which I enjoyed. I don't like when a burger spot tries to glorify the inside even though they're just burgers. To sum it up: If the slider had a thicker slice of bacon on the burger, not really thick, maybe the thickness of 2 pieces of bacon just to get the difference textures, this would be 5/5. read more

A fun little spot with great variety of sliders! The Boardwalk was a basic cheeseburger with pickles and ketchup. The patty was delicious. The Bullet Club had a nicely fried piece of chicken breast on it. The Uncle Reuben was good, tasted like a typical Reuben sandwich. Pulled pork on top of the loaded fries was very tender and flavorful. The fries were a little overcooked for my liking. I believe fries cut this way are easily overcooked. I wasn't too hungry and was craving a good glizzy. I found this place online after a while and saw that not only is it cheap, but had really good reviews. And since it was close to where I was staying at, it was perfect. I ordered slider dogs, specifically the Windy City (Chicago dog but make it small) and das Kaiser (similar to a bratwurst). My friend got 2 burger sliders, the great salmon caper and the jerk store, and the Windy City slider dog. Each slider is $3.95 too! It didn't take too long for the food to come out, but please be aware of the limited seating inside and outside. These little sliders pack a punch!! The pawful of falafel was my favorite, followed by the Buddha burger. The flavors in these were large and wonderful! Pain don't hurt was also delicious, but the burger was pretty well done. I would still order it again, but would ask if they can't cook it less. The fries were seasoned well, and cooked perfectly. The salad was as basic as it comes. Lettuce, onion, and tomato. It all tasted fresh, just uninteresting compared to everything else. The venue is pretty large! Way larger than it looks from the outside. Everything was clean including the bathrooms and there was plenty of seating. The person who took our order at the counter, also delivered the food. She was super helpful, efficient, and friendly. She answered tons of questions (for us and others), gave great suggestions, and didn't get overwhelmed when things got busy. Well done! read more

The line was to the door and all tables were full. The food is very good so this is expected but I hope one day they are able to expand to a larger space. The food took a while to come out so don't come if you're in a hurry, but if you have the time to wait, the food is definitely worth it. Will be coming back to try more sliders. read more

I don't get it. I waited 30 min (I had to double check because I couldn't believe it) there were only 3 small orders in front of me and somehow the people that ordered after I did (who ordered 8+ burgers) got their food before I did. Ok so I'm like, I can be patient if its good... but it literally ya'll, was nothing special at all. The regular burger had no flavor. The brisket was very dry and the falafel was the best of the three and also a bit dry. The fries were nearly stale. I just don't get how anyone can have so many misses with such simple food! The best part was the lady taking my order was very kind and apologized for the cooks. So sadly, I had to submit my experience because this meal convinced me to never tip ahead ever again. read more

I wish I lived closer, as I loved this charming little place. We parked on a side street and walked around to the entrance. You really need to be paying attention, because if you blink and walk by, you will miss it. Once inside we approached the counter. The lady who was working the counter, I wish I had gotten her name, was so friendly and answered all of our questions. I ordered two sliders and one slider dog. My sliders were "The Boardwalk" and "The Jerk Store" and my slider dog was "The Cowgirl". I got all of my items as is, I wanted to experience them as they were intended and honestly, they all had great toppings already. My wife and I split a large order of fries. I also opted for a local beer. After a very brief wait, the very nice person who took our order, brought out our food. It was now time to dig in. I started with "The Boardwalk." This was just a very good all around American slider. It had nice soft bread and was cooked perfectly. Next I went in for the slider dog, "The Cowgirl". MMM, now this was quite the little dog. Those tobacco onions, and that fresh jalapeneo worked so well with the cheese, the BBQ sauce and the hot dog. To wrap things up I finished with a trip to "The Jerk Store". What an adventure, you really taste everything listed on the menu, and it all balances each other out. This was truly a great slider. The fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. They season them with thier own blend of spices, which they sell. I did steal a bite of my wife's sliders, "Buddha Burger" and "Pain Don't Hurt", these are not items I would probably order, but after trying them I loved them and would totally order them. They both had excellent flavors! There is plenty of seating available. You have the main area when you walk in, which is small, but there was a sign point you to another dining room for additional seating. My son & I got a classic slaw dog , the board walk , the bullet club, and the mr chow and the basket of fries! Everything was really good! We did dine in. It was really nice inside. Art is hanging on the wall. I believe they are for sale if you would like to buy them. My only complaint about this place is parking. I had to park on the street. Be careful because I did get a $30 parking citation. Even though there wasn't a NO PARKING sign. But other than that definitely would recommend. read more

We came back a few times, and noticed that that quality of the fries has decreased. Today was the best they've been in a long time. The fries have changed in shape as well. I used to say this was the best place to get fries in Savannah, hopefully whatever they have changed sticks around. Still a go to when I'm in the area. This place is great. I had one Shroomwich and one Buddha Burger, but I only recommend the shroom slider. The buddha burger was a black bean burger with very little taste and poor texture. Maybe it would work as a burger but not a slider? Not sure. The fries on the other hand are amazing. Some of the best I've had in a long time. They come with some skin on them, just the way I like them. And they stock malt vinegar, God bless 'em, so I was pretty happy. I got two out of the three as I didn't have a ton of room and wanted to save some for fries, as these were skin on fries, lightly seasoned, and available with toppings (I got some diced jalapeños). First, the fries. Perfect size, hand cut from real potatoes, not frozen from a bag. Now, I like a hot, fresh crinkle fry seasoned fresh out the grease, but slice fries are among the best in the city. The sliders are great, too. I'm partial to the salmon slider and the falafel slider. I've tried most of the sliders on the menu and they are all delicious. Made to order. Great find! The walk over from Forsyth Park took a little longer and was less scenic than I imagined but it was worth it. We tried 3 sliders, 2 hot dogs and a 1/2 basket of fries. Whenever we visit a new city, Yelp never lets me down. This is a perfect concept for someone who wants to taste all the things. Sliders, all of them different, and such amazing combinations. I was expecting kind of a dry, bland burger with toppings that were flavorful and made up for the lack of burger flavor. Wrong! That tiny burger was so good. It truly didn't need a single thing on it, and I just got the normal cheeseburger. Cowgirl hotdog- was so happy to see it wasn't a boiled hotdog but actually grilled, so you get that snap when biting in. Again, the hotdog would have been amazing by itself, but the toppings put it over the top. Fries seasoned perfectly. For 2 adults and 3 kids, we got in total 6 burgers, 2 hotdogs, full tray fries and full tray cheese fries. 2 fountain drinks and 3 bottles water- $47 before tip.
