    Burnt fries. Waste of money.

The burgers were good, but the fries were not! Burnt, not crispy. The girl at the register was nice, the place was clean with nice cooling AC.

It would be nice if the employee asked if you want toppings. Even though the burger shows toppings in the picture that you'd assume come on it, you have to tell them every topping but they don't tell you. So I just paid $10 for a plane burger without even ketchup on it lol. Maybe my fault but I've never eaten here before. The milkshakes are also very melted.

Peanut oil, potatoes and a box of 'help yourself' peanuts

We walk in and are greeted loud and clearly by friendly staff. The store is clean and tables are wiped down. There is fairly loud Classic Rock being pumped through overhead speakers. As you walk towards the order station, you walk past boxes of peanut oil and sacks of potatoes with the date plainly marked. I can only guess that this is to demonstrate that the fries are from fresh potatoes and made in house. I suppose the cartons of peanut oil are there for the same purpose. Free peanuts are also available, help yourself. There's an open box of peanuts by the boxes of oil. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and selected the toppings I wanted on it. I was surprised that it came as a double burger. It was cooked well and very flavorful and not dried out. The cheese was melted and the bacon was thick and crisp. Soda? Yup, help yourself to one of those computerized dispensers that lets you create your own mix of flavors. Be careful about ordering fries! Holy cow, we ordered 2 large fries and we most definitely got 2 LARGE fries. They took two large milkshake cups and double scooped fries into them. They then put those into a bag and for good measure, they dumped another couple of scoops into the bag on top of everything.... I guess they wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the amount of fries we got. The fries really are good. It's obvious that they are made fresh on site and not a frozen product. This is a no-frills environment with a generous amount of fresh food.

Kind of a hidden gem in downtown roseburg. The dining area is clean and well decorated. Foods are great! I appreciate the many choices of free toppings. Price is reasonable but they did take awhile to make the burger. They offer complimentary peanuts which is very nice.

The service and food was great! I went there on a Saturday with my sons. We got a burger, fries, lemonade, milkshake, and the grilled veggie sandwich. That sandwich is a great addition to the menu and tasted way better than your average veggie burger. I almost didn't even miss the beef on it...until I tried my son's hamburger. The next day, Sunday morning, I was pulling out of the driveway at the hotel where we stayed next door, and immediately felt my tire was flat and it sounded awful. So I pulled over to the Five Guys parking lot since it was closest and I parked my car. It wasn't just flat. The tire was actually coming off the rim! The shift manager, Jose', was out on his break and came right over to offer his assistance. What a helpful, kind, person. We got my spare, jack and lug nut wrench out of the trunk, and he went to town on that wheel to get me going again. Another man showed up to help too, so Jose went and got us water, took the man's hamburger order, loaned me the use of his auto supplies while the other man helped, and checked up on us too. I can tell you that when someone does you good like this, it makes a lasting impression. I was able to get on the road with my spar and drive to a tire center. Thank you Jose'!! Five Guys, thanks for hiring the best, and please promote this man!

They've done a great job of turning it into a bar/restaurant. I'm sorry I didn't get my server's name, because she was very friendly and helpful. I decided to start with the Cajun tots. I asked how spicy they were, and she said that they could go mild with the Cajun spice. It also came with a peppercorn ranch. I also ordered the Aztec salad. Romaine, corn & black bean salsa, avocado, tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, onion, chipotle dressing (I asked them to leave off the jalapeño...). She asked me if I wanted to add chicken, and I said yes. I added grilled chicken The food comes, the salad is very decent sized, and the order of tater tots was massive. The salad was a bit on the spicy side. That's on me, because I didn't read the menu very well, and I didn't realize that it had the chipotle dressing. My lips were definitely tingling a little bit. It was toward the high end of what I like for spice, but it was still very good. The chicken was tender and flavorful, with just a tiny bit of a char on it. It definitely added to the flavor. The tots were excellent. I'm glad I had her go light on the Cajun spice, cause even with light spice, again it was a bit spicy. Within what I like for spicy, but I definitely noticed it. The ranch helped calm the spice a bit I had enough tots left over to bring back to my room for breakfast. Prices are a little bit on the high end, but for what I got, quantity and quality, reasonable. Plus, the advantage that Oregon does not have sales tax. They also offer a military/veterans discount. I would stop here again the next time I'm passing through. Thank you!

There are also seasonal menu items. I couldn't resist the Portland Dip. It is a fun take on the French dip McMenamins style. Enjoyed Runaway Train beer with it. Atmosphere is that of an old train station with now tables inside and outside. A/C was working well as it was hot outside. Great experience and look to retune when in town.
