I just now am trying the breakfast here at the Jersey Lilly. As I have stated before the food here is very well prepared and I will add the portions are generous. As usual the service here is outstanding. The severs are warm inviting and are attentive. The environment is as always very comfortable and relaxing. Now for the breakfast review: Today I being it's my first breakfast here I tried the biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty. The drink I chose for this morning's breakfast was a Spanish coffee. Typically when I try an establishments breakfast for the first time it's always biscuits and gravy. By far my favorite breakfast ever. If they prepare this dish well that tells me it's okay to be more adventurous. Well the Lilly nailed it today. The biscuits and gravy is everything that it should be. Authentic and not artsy fartcy. Just good old school down home biscuits and gravy and that is what I received today. The dish was flavorful and the biscuits are spot on. The sausage patty was of very good quality and very flavorful as well. The Spanish Coffee was very nice prepared and the presentation was excellent. Once again the Jersey Lilly has knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend that you try this establishment. read more

We have gone to The Jersey Lily for 3 years. Food has always been good until tonight. Not sure if there's a new owner, new cook or changes have been made but it wasn't the same. I have gotten the burger steak, almost every single time It was hot, thick & meaty with fried mushrooms & onions on it. The salad was big and so good. Tonight the burger steak had a film like it had been waiting. The salad was smaller and not real fresh. Baked potato seemed leftover. The fries, though, were right out of the fryer and really good. Service is still really good. She was back after nine years, is smiling and makes you feel welcome. I hope this was a bad night because this is one of the best places in Roseburg for a meal or a drink. read more

I've been enjoying the Jersey Lilly for many years. Their French Fries were always the best in town, and they always complemented the great Burgers. However, they have changed who they purchase their food from and now the fries have an orange color, and they taste terrible. I'm really going to miss going there and I hope, maybe, they will have enough customers also let them know they want those super good fries back again. read more

We've heard how incredible the burgers are here but who knew they served breakfast on weekends. We went in to get a burger but had to have breakfast as they serve breakfast from 8-noon Thursday-Sunday. Originally we were disappointed we couldn't get a burger for an hour but the breakfast was a home run. We ordered the Jersey Scramble and the Country Fried Steak special. Highly recommend getting the scramble with the house made sausage patties. The sausage gravy for the country fried steak is made with it too. Great sausage makes great gravy. Had a great local golden peach ale that which paired very well with breakfast/brunch. We hope to return someday to have the burgers we've heard some much about from friends. read more

We just finished breakfast. Two of us split the special,which was Belgian waffle with fruit compote,eggs, and bacon. I couldn't finish my half, as good as it was. Waffle was crisp, fruit was great, eggs were cooked to order, and bacon was crisp and flavorful. The guys had fluffy pancakes and couldn't finish their breakfasts. The servers were attentive, efficient, and charming. They seemed to really enjoy their jobs and the customers. Jersey Lily is an old bar with a western theme and a wood-burning river rock fireplace. I used to come here when I lived in Roseburg. At that time, the frog burger was huge and memorable. So when we needed a place for lunch when we visited we decided to come to Jersey Lilly for old time sake. We ordered it today and were a bit disappointed. It was small and "just ok". So much for memories! While the place was pretty busy, there was only one person (who was certainly working very hard) to cover the entire front of the house. Stumbled in on a Sunday evening, recommended by the hotel staff to come for a drink and food. When we arrived we were greeted by Ellie, who was kind, professional and such a great person to chat with. If you're looking for local home style food in a great little bar, this is the place. It's definitely a local spot. Burgers are awesome, the chopped steak was perfectly prepared and the beer is cold. Ordered and ate a Tri Tip dinner tonight. Lousy service. Our waitress took our order, and never came back to fill water, ask if we needed anything or even bring us our check. My husband went to the bar to pay and get a box, and was advised that "Robert" changed the menu as well as pricing, so we needed to pay extra for the baked potato that the menu clearly stated came with my meal. WTF?? I informed her that Robert should have brought us an updated menu BEFORE we ordered. We will NEVER go back. This is the 2nd time we've had issues with that place in the last 6 months. Based on my Dad's recommendation, I went here for breakfast and it was great! I recommend the breakfast burrito. I ordered it with bacon and it was delicious. The chopped peppers in the burrito were crunchy and cooked just right. The ambiance was great - kinda reminds me of North Woods Inn back home. The service was outstanding. The frog burger is a hit with Roseburg. Bar restaurant atmosphere, has a fireplace on one side Also has pool tables for those who enjoy a game of pool. I believe that the name Frog Burger came to be because of the green leaf lettuce that is used on the burgers. The Jersey also has more potato options that I have seen anywhere else, regular fries, curley, waffle cut, tater tots and sweet potato fries. And a good choice local beers on tap. read more

We stopped in here on the way home from camping on the North Umpqua at a friend's recommendation and we loved this place. I mean, it's got major dive bar vibes but if you're in the mood, this is the place. Stiff drinks, the menu was pretty big and the food was really good, better than your average bar food. Very casual crowd and staff but friendly, we didn't feel out of place at all even though we aren't locals. This would definitely be a fun place to hang out at night too. read more

Jersey Lilly is a nice local spot we enjoyed. It feels like you're walking into an old cabin setting, nice decor, and many things to look at with a couple of big screen tv's and pool tables in one corner. Waitress was very friendly and hard working. We waited a little longer than I expected for a couple burgers and an appetizer, but worth the wait. We ordered beer battered mushrooms, a couple drinks, an avocado burger add jalapeños with waffle fries, and a Tri-tip burger with waffle fries. The only thing disappointing was the Tri tip burger was a little chewy... but would dine again and try something else. read more

A little hole in the wall bar. My husband and I recently moved to Roseburg Oregon from California and I found my hair salon(yay) and the stylist was telling me about different places that I should check out around here and she brought up Jersey lilies and told me if I wanted a great burger that's where I needed to go and have the frog burger she assured me it wasn't frog. It was just they put two little strips of bacon sticking out like frog legs, so anyways we checked it out on a Saturday and it wasn't that busy but there was only one gal working behind the counter doing the best that she could so if you're going, don't be in a hurry, but the beer was good and the frog burger was really good!! I would've given it five stars but they do need to hire more help. Great place we will be back.!!edit. I decided I will just rate on the taste of the food and it's a solid 5 star, just don't be in a hurry, relax and have a drink and breathe. read more

The Jersey Lilly is one of the best places in town to get a burger, if you're 21 an older. From their burgers to their nachos, everything I've tried is good! I recommend getting their famous "Frog Burger" with tots! Friendly staff and a good environment... The older folks will slide you the eye if you appear under 30, almost as if you're going to take their old lady to the ball, but it's an old bar and that's typical. Overall good place to go to eat or grab a beer! Oh and heres the Menu... You won't find it online! read more

Came here after driving through the Oregon Safari. We dined in and they have certain seating blocked off and limiting capacity to meet pandemic rules. The staff are wearing masks and very friendly. Driving up to TJL is a bit daunting. It's an older building and it really looks like an old western tavern, parking is 'okay' but there is street parking. Walking in, old town tavern. But all the tables were clean, the floor was clean, and as soon as I walked in, the bartender said "hello". One star just for that. Ordered the Frog Burger ($12.50) and added an egg ($1.50). If you have never added an over-easy egg on your burger, it's worth the try. Burger came w/ a few choices of sides which was nice. I ordered the wedge fries. I can tell you, they were the best wedge fries I have ever had. And as far as fries go, they were excellent. Very hot when they came out which means they make them to-order. The burger was MR which is what I wanted and really was excellent. You can taste the fresh flavor of the ground beef. First time in a long while. Well worth the money. The service was excellent. Both women were professional, friendly, and welcoming. Didn't get their names (Friday, Oct. 29th - lunch). AND, it was the first time in a long time that one of them returned within a few minutes after I got my entree to make sure everything was great. 1 % of service staff at restaurants do this anymore. I arrived in Roseberg later in the evening and asked my hotel attendant for a dinner recommendation. She recommended a The Jersey Lilly which was conveniently located near my hotel. I headed over and found a fun atmosphere. The food was good, not great. I had a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich tasted great, the fries needed another minute in the fryer and some better seasoning. The service was good. It appears they were training new staff so I won't be critical of some minor delays. I would definitely eat here again when I return to Roseberg for work. read more

Great food, excellent service. Great selection of beers on tap. After a perfectly poured beer and a super tasty meal we hung out and played a little pool and some games. Super chill place.
