The burger and chicken were juicy, the bacon was thick and crisp, and the tomato and lettuce refreshing. Unexpected and you will definitely miss it if you aren't looking for it. Outside and comfortably air conditioned inside seating. The gentleman taking our order was incredibly kind and helpful in giving suggestions. 10/10 service. Take out available. I yelped this place while in the neighborhood and as I drove up to it, I almost passed it. It's a tiny place, but don't let that fool you! This place was DELICIOUS!!! Haven't been here in four years and it was just as great as I remembered. Small place- a food truck with both indoor and outdoor seating. A simple menu but that's all you need. Both the burgers and fries are awesome. Great lemonade too! By 1:30 they were already sold out of onion rings so I would recommend going earlier than we did. There is a small parking lot to the right of the area. This isn't fast food, it took a bit to get your order but it's worth it! read more

I have to say that if 10 was the highest number for how the food tasted. I have to give them at least a 15 it was phenomenal. The service was average for a hamburger truck, but the guys that were working there were very very nice and they did it great job with presentation of the burgers and fries and stuff I was just Took me six years to be able to get over there and try it. I do know next time I will change who I go with. It would've been better lol the ambience is what it is for a hamburger trailer at burger joint but I'll tell you what I wouldn't change the thing when you go into a brand new pic and span Restaurantthat don't make the food taste better. I love the cafés and burger joints and everything else is my favorite when you know that the people that are serving you this absolutely delicious food didn't need to put themselves in bed by making sure that they had gold plated, chairs, and tables you go guys when my family comes from California. I had never had Granny's until my work brought their food truck in as a treat. I ordered the run of the mill cheeseburger and fries and it was SO. GOOD. So much so that I then hauled my family the next weekend to the truck's stationary counterpart. I'd hyped it up a lot. Like, they were expecting an experience. And they were not having it. I have to admit, the food truck WAS better food than the main location. Maybe it was just a fluke. The fries were different on the food truck, which was the main issue for me, but it's still a good burger and decent fries for a good price. I'd recommend stopping if you're in town, but maybe seek out the food truck and compare for yourselves? read more

Made it less than 2 blocks before we couldn't hold back and pulled into a Big Lots parking lot to inhale our food. Everything from the warm bun, perfectly melted American cheese, thick bacon and thin but still crunchy pickles on the bottom. Outstanding! My son is eating the tots by the fistful. We came through Roseburg on our way to wildlife Safari just a few miles further and by the time we finished there we were really hungry and so we turned to Yelp and searched for burgers and this place came up and we both got the Frisco burger which is a burger on grilled sourdough and they have hand cut shoestring fries and a yummy dipping sauce and we loved it. It definitely isn't place that you would come for the ambiance and I doubt especially a traveler would come across it on their own but we're sure glad we did. Granny's is the bomb! Granny's Mini-hut is a little hole in wall place that makes amazing burgers. From the regular burger to the mushroom swiss, they're all good! If you've never had Granny's and want to try something out of the norm, try the Frisco burger. The Frisco has, garlic toast for the buns and is a nice change from the typical burger. The grilled cheese isn't anything special for the price, but everything else is good. read more

Think how disappointed we were when Granny's Hut went out of business. I had just found them again and they had the very best hamburgers in town. I use to eat at the first Granny's Hut at their first location. I use to have there Taco Salad it was so good. They have kept the same burger sauce recipe but have changed their beef patties, serious downgrade. They used to have so much flavor and be so juicy. Now they are dry and flavorless! My regular order is a cheeseburger with ONLY cheddar, swiss, mushrooms, and crispy bacon. Seems simple, right? In about 10 visits to Granny's, there has been 4 times where I have had to return to have my order fixed. Each of those times, the owners have seemed upset with me for having a difficult order. Two of those times, they have simply tried to pick the shredded lettuce, onion, and tomato off of the bun instead of remaking my burger. Aside from the below average customer service, the food is closer to a 4/5 star rating. Great fries, great sauces, and good small business feel. The atmosphere seems pretty at home. And most employees seem kind. Just wish the ownership would match the positives with some type of value for their customers. read more

Why did the vegetarian go to a burger basket place for lunch? Because where there are GREAT burgers in baskets, there are also GREAT fries, and Granny's (Ginger and Tim) do NOT disappoint! I can't personally speak about the meat, but Hubby says this big juicy two-handed helping, dripping in sauce and piled high with all the goodies, ROCKS! I am the french fry expert in the family and Granny hand cut fries and Goop get an A++. But wait, there's more! The coup de main, and my reason for saying this place is a GREAT vegetarian stop, is Ginger's Grilled Cheese with her mushroom, onion and garlic topping on sour dough bread, with pepperjack and swiss.
