Lettuce wrapped Little Cheeseburger with Large Fries
    Jessica H.

We went in on Tuesday at about 5 and there was no line and almost no customers. The menu is a little overwhelming with all the options and the cashier was patient and nice with my kids. They were clearly confused and she helped them understand what would be on their burgers based on what they said. I really didn't like their fry sauce for some reason but the food was good otherwise. My only complaint is it was just a standard fast food burger and In-N-Out is better and literally HALF the price. That tiny lettuce wrapped burger you see in my pic was $8!!

Showed up a little after 5. No rush. People were in and out very quickly. Food came promptly and staff was super nice. The burger was great and made properly. Music was at a reasonable level. Very well lit up inside. This location has alway done me right and I can't complain. I love the fact they are consistent. When I am hungry and craving a burger, they don't disappoint at this location. Thanks for all that you do 5 Guys! Give the burgers and fries a try. Great meal. Oh, and free peanuts!

5 Guys in Southtown Sandy does not care one bit about your food. I ordered a burger tonight and it was raw in the middle. I called the store and was told the manager was on vacation and they apologized for the raw food. I'm not sure what the manager being on vacation had to do with me getting raw ground beef but this is serious, I have had food poisoning in the past and almost died from it and I don't take eating raw ground beef lightly.

Five guys is consistently a great choice for burgers. I love that that allow you to customize you burger in any way. Pro tip you can get extra extra of any topping(that includes bacon if you order a bacon burger). I consistently love the fries. Cajun of course. I only rated this a four because my burger was a little more sloppy than what I'm used to at five guys.

Came here for dinner on Friday night about 9pm. There were a few people there eating and a few waiting for their food to go. There were 3 workers, our order was taken quickly as well as the person behind us. Nice guys. They got right to work, not messing around. There were a few orders in front of us, but we didn't mind waiting as they are cooking everything fresh. It tasted great and fresh. Perfectly made with the additional toppings at no extra cost. Great fresh taste. Plenty of food as usual, quality stuff. Would be happy to return!

    That's a BIG peanut!

It's difficult to review chains, because if they're doing their business right, they are all consistent. This location is a replacement for the location in the same complex in the Commons in South Towne (across State Street for The Shops at South Town, the big mall minus the end "E"). It definitely is an upgrade. The old location was the most cramped Five Guys I've ever been in, and this one has plenty of space. My only negative is the fries. I may have got them on a bad day, but they didn't have their usual goodness ... they had the consistency of a Burger King fry, which isn't a good thing, and they had cooked the flavor right out of 'em. Everything else: Quick service, awesome burger, plenty of gigantic peanuts, the awesome Freestyle mix-your-own-soda machine, awesome as usual. No matter where they're located or how big, Five Guys sure knows how to pack 'em in!

I ordered a bacon, cheese hot dog with no bun and a bacon double cheeseburger with no bun. Gotta love that 5 guys is always consistent on their delivery. I love that they will put it in a tray instead of insisting on lettuce wrapping. I personally don't like lettuce wraps.

I good place to keep my family happy. My kids love it because they can get hot dogs, and hamburgers. Keeps the peace in the family haha. The Cajun fries are delicious with fry sauce. And they have so many options to top your perfect burger with. They also have the coke machines with evey flavor. Can't go wrong coming here when everyone wants to be picky.

Burger was juicy and huge. Never get a large fry for yourself. I got a regular and I couldn't even finish it, and I can eat!

The burgers taste like a homemade burger rather than a fast-food chain burger.

Hamburgers are ok but I prefer Carl's Jr $6 burgers. And the fries, which I was looking forward, had way too much seasoning.

The burger is a good smash burger and the brat is a good brat. Both were cooked great and good choice of options for whatever toppings/options you may be feeling. The onion rings were fire. My two negatives: 1: The price. It's not insanely expensive, especially when you consider how large the size of the items are, but definitely on the pricier side if you're just wanting to hop over on lunch break or something. 2: The buns. I have to assume their Hawaiian bun is a love it or hate it type of deal. I found the buns too sweet and they got soggy very quickly. It's a cool idea with the Hawaiian bun, but I found it to be less than desirable for my own taste. Would be cool to see an alternative option. Overall a good spot and will likely be coming back.

Food was alright - Service was horrible!…read more We walked in, looked at the menu for literally 10 seconds, and then were told by the guy behind the counter to "let him know when we were ready to order". He then walked away to the back and didn't come back. For several minutes. We ended up ordering digitally, which was fine. But we sat there for a few minutes wondering if the guy was going to come back... It took 20 minutes to get our food. (There were maybe 3-4 other people in the restaurant, it wasn't busy.) When we got our food, my chili and my hotdog were cold... and my husband's order was wrong. I would have given this review 2 stars... but I'm giving it 3 stars because the food tasted pretty good, and when we gave them the feedback in person, they actually wanted to make it right, and they gave us a cookie.... And I have to say... the consolation cookie was pretty good! ;)

No, you probably do not know what a Sonoran Dog is. So no, you don't know if this is authentic or…read morenot. I'm from Tucson. I tried almost every Sonoran Dog offering--restaurant, food truck--in Tucson. Seriously. And have Yelp reviewed and rated them all. Folks, this is the real deal. So what makes a Sonoran Dog? First, the hot dog. bacon wrapped, with the right sized pinto beans, and diced tomatoes and onions. Next, mayo, guac sauce, and sometimes mustard, depending on the vendor. Often served with a grilled pepper. So far, so good. But if you don't have this final ingredient, IT IS NOT A SONORAN DOG! And that is.... ....THE BUN! Sonoran dogs are only Sonoran Dogs if it has the right bun. These are the right buns. Well...I'll say it is 99% the real buns. He gets them shipped in from Phoenix, I believe. Phoenix does not have the best Sonoran Dogs. In Tucson (the first North American city to be named a "Gastronomic Capitol of the World" by UNESCO) *all* Sonoran Dog vendors get their buns from Alejandro's Bakery. Period. *All* of them. And they are a special bun. Long, in which the hot dog actually fits, tapered at each end, fluffy, and ever so slightly sweet. Half of the enjoyment of eating a Sonoran Dog is the bun. And often you end up with a bite or two with no more dawg and it is a pleasure to eat that left-over bun with still a few of the other ingredients in it. With Chipilon style of Sonoran Dog (from a certain Mexico province of the same/similar name?) the bun is toasted on the grill on both sides and there is cheese at the bottom of the bun, which is melted. This is how he serves them. And the toasted bun is the best way to have a Sonoran Dog in my opinion. So I say his buns (from Phoenix) are 99% real because these buns have one end sort of sliced off. But that does not detract from the experience of eating these fine dawgs. The only drawback for me is that these dawgs cost $8.50. But hey, we're in Utah, and he has to import the buns, so that's an extra cost. In Tucson, anyone would balk if the dawg cost more than $3.50. But for me, this is the only game in town. And it's a good one. And he serves his with Duros de harinas (Mexican wagon wheel chips). And tonight I tried a combo that comes with any version of dawg he does plus a "mini quesadilla," which wasn't so "mini" as he stuffs it with a generous amount of cheese and you get three triangles. He's in the Latinos Furniture parking lot on Redwood in West Jordan. In case you use Apple Maps, until they accept the correction I sent them, it is on the east side of Redwood: 7659 S Redwood Rd. His weekly location (if different than Latinos) is on his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/nanassonoranhotdogs. Even my wife, who doesn't like hot dogs, like Sonoran Dogs and likes these Sonoran Dogs. Check it out! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

The flavor is really good with the good quality tasting chicken, paired with the fried breaded outer coating. I like that the coating is not overdone. It can look like it's mutated at other places, with no chicken to be found within the excess. It's gotta be the herbed mayo that adds to its flavor as well. It's a winning combo, not pictured in my review, because it didn't last long. I got some fries again on this visit and they are great! The cookies and cream shake is perfect. When a guy handed me my order, he took the time to ask if he could get me anything else.
