This Five Guys is on Brownwood Square in The Villages. I have gotten food here several times over the last year and always use the app to order. Makes it super convenient. The staff is always very friendly and my order is always correct. We love their burgers. If you don't want a bun, you can get it as a bowl or in a lettuce wrap. The also do good hot dogs and milk shakes. There is also a soda machine with many customizable options: diet caffeine free vanilla coke? Yup. Peach Fanta? Yup - you get the idea. Free refills. The fries are delicious. They drop them in the fryer when you arrive so they are fresh - so you have to check in and then wait a minute or two, but it's worth it. They put quite a few extra in the bag. While you wait, they have Fresh peanuts you can help yourself too and shell them yourself. Little secret - the reason they have peanuts so readily available is to signal to folks with a peanut allergy that they use peanut oil and that their are peanuts on the premises. I don't know why this place has such a low star rating. It's a Five Guys. It's like every other Five Guys. It's not this location's fault it's so expensive now...that's every Five Guys. Food was exactly as you'd expect from any other one. I recently visited the Five Guys location at The Villages, they have The TASTIEST Burgers around. I get the Bacon Cheeseburger Double and have never been disappointed. The Fries left a bad taste in my mouth, they are way too greasy, I prefer Crispy. On this night I was the only customer and the tables inside were all clean. The outside tables weren't being attended to with crumbs and grease on several of them. Overall I guess they are slightly better than average. You Can't beat their burgers! read more

Another trip to 5 guys, another disappointment. I now go there about maybe once per quarter just because it is still a good product that I get a craving for even though it is grossly overpriced. But this little bacon cheeseburger was $11 and change by itself with tax, so that might be the last time. And they also no longer have malt for shakes which is so specific and absurd. I was going to order a grossly overpriced shake to go along with my grossly overpriced burger, but was told they could not make me a malted shake because they are no longer "stocking it". Good consistent food. It's close to my work so I can walk here regularly for lunch. Very clean and workers seem nice and always cleaning. But, it's super expensive for what you get. It's just burgers and fries and always over $20. The first few times it took forever then a little more quicker even with not a lot of customers in the restaurant. It is fresh and fries always fresh, hot, and well done the way I like them. Tip: order there, eat there, and only ask for a little fries as you know they always give more in the bag. However, there is always the same fries lady (with the mask) that screams your number multiple times, even though your the only one in the store and standing right there. I also wish they didn't put the burger in the bottom of the bag under all the hot fries that eats through the paper bag and you have to dig through. Also, their coke machine at times taste weird or carbonation taste weird. I also suggested they get onion rings and could use a chicken sandwich on their menu to try something different. We have tried to eat here 3 different times in 3 months and we leave after entering every time. This restaurant has a very strong sulfur sewer smell as soon as you walk in. This is a traditional five guys location. Other than the silver backs lurking the sidewalks and streets In their golf carts it's nothing more than the amazing five guys. The orders are always on time, food is cooked exactly how I requested it. The staff always prompt, professional, and extremely courteous. This is the worst five guys I've ever been to. It obviously is poorly managed as it seems to always be understaffed and I never see the same people working there. Food is just ok but typically end up with an incorrect order (ie a little bacon burger ends up having no bacon lol). I live in Leesburg, so must drive 18 miles to get to Five Guys. They have the best burgers and fries, so it's worth the drive. Today, 4/18/21, I made the drive because we were all in the mood for burgers. When we got to Five Guys in Brownwood, there was a sign on the door that they were closed for the day. I served my country for 8 years and the City of NY for another 16, and have never been reprimanded. As a matter of fact, I've been awarded numerous times. Apparently Five Guys at Brownwood square in The Villages requires a cashier to belittle me and speak to me and my wife with such disrespect because I have yet to receive my Five Guys degree that he obviously earned. I've never seen employees work so hard to do absolutely nothing... maybe fill the ketchup, maybe when someone asks for some, you get it? Maybe wipe down the sticky buildup on the dinning tables? Maybe clean the disgusting soda dispenser, or at least a wipe down? The owner of this place is obviously a disgrace. From managers to the associates, this is a complete breakdown in leadership. If I performed any of my jobs like this, people would be hurt or killed... even when I was an 16 year old landscaper. As for the cashier, Damion, being condescending and speaking down to people you don't know is exhausting, but there's still hope for you. First visit and our last....we got one hot dog, one burger and two small fries....with no drinks for $18.00. They dont have trays...they serve everything in a paper bag...you get better service at Wendy's and a lot cheaper. I did not see any one present to wipe down the tables so cleanliness is a question. They say "Free" tomatoes, relish, mustard, ketchup, pickles, etc. of your choice...really? You know when you pay this price for what we got something else was missing. We will not be back nor recommend.....the table seating outside are metal style picnic tables with big metal tubes underneath where if you are not careful can trip getting in and out. The Villages has various ages and some with handicaps...really...even I was not paying attention to this very unusual tables we have never seen anywhere in our lifetime....
