    Cheeseburger - Single
    Lee R.

I went to a Five Guys in Texas and was very underwhelmed and when I moved to Ohio, several people mentioned Five Guys as the best burger ever. I thought I would finally give them another try. The burger in Ohio is just as bad in Ohio as they are in Texas. The patty is ultra flat. Crispy on the outside, which is not a bad thing but when this thin it underplays the taste of actual burger. The bun was soft and good. Toppings fresh and more than adequate. Juice factor on the burger was awesome but couldn't relate the juice to the skinny meat patty. The above in itself is a one star. Just the burger reviewed. The establishment is remodeled and organized horribly. Floors and walls bounce sound all over the place. At the register had hard time ordering with screaming crew behind her. Close quarters and they have to scream really loud. The stench is really horrible from all the grease. Ventilation not working properly. Tables arranged so customers coming in has to cruise pass some of the eaters and new customers waddle in because it is confusing which direction. If you are going to claim to have the best burgers, then best provide the results. As a chain, they have a good business model. No combos. Toppings are free. Order and build. Simple. Last time I had the milkshake and they were very good. Fries last time good as well and they cut the fries fresh. They only change is to stop promoting "Best Burger by "Washingtonian Magazine Readers" - what the hell does that mean anyways? If you do come here, get at least two patties, fries and milkshake and get it to go.

    Little Bacon Cheeseburger, fries, drink

Five Guys never disappoints! Today I ordered the Little Bacon Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, Mayo, and extra pickles. The burger was cooked just right and delicious. They were pretty busy since I got there right at lunchtime. Even though they were packed, everyone working was hustling, getting orders filled fast and cleaning. The place looked very clean. I've enjoyed Five Guys ever since they made a home in Toledo!

    Clearly says BACON

22,000 employee's back there, ok a little exaggerated, it plenty of people and they can't add bacon as ordered. These burgers ain't cheap but what a disappointment with my to go order. Horrible system for such a big franchise, trying to read tickets laying on the same counter burgers are being put together. Mass confusion=mistakes!

Was it worth $11.29 for a small smoked turkey breast sandwich and mac & cheese meal? Honestly…read more.. no. I originally stopped in thinking this might be more of a coffee shop so I could grab a snack and coffee while pumping gas--kill two birds with one stone. From the outside--and even inside--it's aesthetically appealing and looks like a great spot. But the experience didn't quite match that first impression. The food itself didn't hit the mark in the taste factor--nothing terrible, just not memorable or worth the price in my opinion. That said, I'm open to trying other menu items because maybe I just didn't order the right thing. Customer service was pretty average--nothing to complain about, but nothing that stood out either. Overall, it didn't hit the mark this time, but I'd consider giving it another shot.

Been here recently/last year three times, which has a refreshed look compared to the past. They have a variety of options with hot deli style sandwiches as a base, but have soups/salads as well as calzones, pizza, and flatbreads. If you have a sweet tooth, Cinnabon products are available as well as cookies and brownies. Breakfast is also available with breakfast sandwiches, burritos and tacos. The food quality is pretty good and a nice option to standards like McDonald's and Arbys etc. Cost seems higher for what it is, but to be fair in the past year (2025-2026) prices seem to be soaring due to tariffs and other economic issues. Food quality is not bad, but not a stand out either. Soups seem to be one of the better options. Service seems so so for friendliness as well as speed. The environment is OK, again not a standout. New look but has an "Empty Sterile" nervous vibe. Overall, OK especially if you need a break from the standard fast food chains noting the prices for McDonald's and others has skyrocketed and service and over all experience has been on the decline, putting Schlotzskys well positioned for fast food. Managing my bias here as I almost never eat fast food unless there is a need such as short on time or thats all thats available. Go ahead, worth a try if you are in the market for fast food and tired of the typical places.

OK, I don't want to come off in this review, sounding like I didn't understand the business model…read moreor proof-of-concept of Mr.Beast Burger. My children pleaded with me to order it, namely because of the assumption that their affection for this YouTube philanthropist would easily carry over into the fast food burger realm. Unfortunately, it did not. I have already read many reviews complaining that the food was cold, which I feel is a tad bit unfair considering Mr. Beast exists solely as a delivery food option. It's like 12° out, and the food is delivered almost 20 minutes away. Of course, it's going to be cold. So the luke warm to frigid temperature of my family's burgers tonight were certainly not the criteria I am using to judge. For those who are unaware, Mr.Beast Burger relies on other restauranteurs To make their food and door delivery services for the rest. In theory, it's genius. This YouTube sensation gets to label-slap his name and brand on a simple burger recipe all across the country and has built-in promotion from the 55 million followers he has online. So, if you are a Toledoan hoping to find a brick and mortar MrBeast restaurant to visit, of course, you will not find one. The delivery time for door dash was pretty decent, nearing 30 minutes. As soon as we opened the paper bag - if he came pretty evident that this online business exist in reality, only in the form of a digital recipe alongside massive rolls of MrBeast stickers given to local employees to stick on generic wrapping and generic bags to give the illusion of a franchise. Regardless, the true testament was the food. Aside from the temperature as previously mentioned, the Mr. beast burger was decently pleasant, with a mixture of Beef patties, American cheese, ketchup, mayo, pickles, and brown mustard, all rammed between soft buns. The pictures on the menu, of course look delightful. I expected the real thing to look like a squished mess, but it even looked less desirable than I imagined. Luckily, the taste of it was pretty acceptable. Scoring no higher than a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10, the Beast burger was definitely appetizing, despite its poor appearance. However, that's where the niceties stop. My son had the Chris burger, which was advertised to include bacon and french fries squashed atop a burger patty. But he found the bacon to be excessively chewy and almost under cooked. His patties were thinner and were much more overcooked and tough than the beast burger. The fries were the worst. Not only did they suffer the most from the chill weather outside, making them not even remotely warm, but many of the fries seemed completely under cooked. Almost like they were slivers of frozen potato. In conclusion, if Mr. Beast Burger existed as a brick and mortar restaurant that I could visit in the summer, guaranteeing a piping hot plate that could be easily returned if undercooked, then this YouTube-turned-burger sensation would earn at least a moderately respectable review in my mind. But considering it's status as delivery-only, I highly forewarn Toledoans from rolling the dice on a risky concept that banks its success on pre-existing marketing from a world dependent on social media than on the quality of it's food and service.

I would rather drive the 45 min one to bowling green for there's then ever eat from this one again........and it really disappoints me that I paid 50 bucks with delivery for such a horrible meal that I didn't even end up eating.

As much as I'd like to say I've tried more dishes here, I can't... because their chicken shawarma is too good to steer away! Lovely portions for the $20 price tag. I'm very hard to fill-up, but they manage to do it here. The large portion sizes is what ultimately keeps me coming back. Owner & management - please keep it up! Kind staff. Very accommodating. Treated like family while dining in. Newly remodeled dining area that's especially nice. The ONLY knock I have is a 7% fee for dining - which appears to be a new charge. Food is prepared on a paper plate and served on a plastic tray that you return when throwing away trash. The additional expense to eat in is not justifiable. There is also a 3% non-cash fee. Be prepared to spend an additional 10% menu price if you plan to dine in & pay with card. Overall, I thoroughly love this place, and will continue to eat here a LOT as long as prices remain manageable and portions stay large. I very highly recommend!
