steak nachos, usually a family favorite, however today it disappointed. started with having to wait nearly an hour for the Togo order, Usually big chucks of savory beef, today barely a couple oz, but tasted okay, little more gristle than in the past, cheese different; nachos cheese watery, chips stale & chewy, nacho portions smaller than previously. 3 orders of steak nachos and a draft beer $70, which they added a 3.5% service charge, not sure what that's for, -added a tip but not as much as we usually would. It has been a year or so since our last time eating here, knowing that the service is slow but we really wanted the nachos we remembered, and gave it another chance. It'll probably be another year before we try again. Everyone always needs room to improve.

    Lemon drop soo good

I forgot to post this from a while ago... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambiance and really beautiful decor and interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks are excellent. 10/10 for the spicy lemon drop. It's one of the best I've ever had. We enjoyed the burgers as well, only I prefer less dense buns. I got the pb&j burger, what a fun combo. Portions are big! We came when it wasn't too busy and the service was friendly and fast.

We came in on a random Tuesday night, and there looked like that they had a large party (10+ top table) so service was definitely slower than it should have been. However our server kept coming back to check on us and refill our drinks, and did inform us that the kitchen was a bit backed up due to the large party which was understandable of course. The inside of the restaurant was definitely kind of warm though, maybe due to all of the people inside. But the water refills were definitely warm so while the refills were appreciated, drinking warm water in a warm restaurant with hot food wasn't too enjoyable. But the beers and cocktails were definitely nice and cold! The salad satisfied my craving! Perfectly tender steak, creamy egg, sweet tomatoes, crisp bacon, and house made blue cheese dressing. The dressing was thick, cold, creamy, and had just the perfect amount of tang from the blue cheese. It's out of the way, but worth the drive! Good food and good service.

We split a few different burgers and sides so we could all try more things at once!

Excited to try this local place and they sure didn't disappoint us. Great service and food was delicious. Elena was our server and she was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and answered our questions and gave great recommendations. We ended up trying 3 appetizers- cornbread, deviled eggs, and jalapeño poppers, all delicious. We asked to cut the burgers in half so we could share and try two a few burgers so we ended up getting the Bourbon Bacon, M5 Alarm, Main Street, and Cowboy Blues burgers with sweet potato fries, coleslaw, reg fries and smashers as our sides as you can see they even separated the plates up for us so we were all able to share easily!! Awesome!!! We ended up taking 3 Togo boxes home so unfortunately we didn't have room for their desserts so we will have to come back another time.

Made 2 visits to Five Marys in 3 days and had equally wonderful meals and food. Such a great treat to have such a fabulous restaurant the quaint little hamlet / town of Ft Jones. Corey, our server both evenings, went above and beyond! Thank you!!

Five Mary's now open for breakfast 6 days a week! I got the breakfast bowl with avocado added. This would also make a great burrito. They've also added a happy hour 3-5:30 Monday through Friday with $6 apps and $2 off cocktails and $1 off beers. Always nice to change things up!

Turkey wrap and sweet potatoe fries. Had to take some feta cheese out.

What a cute local saloon!! Totally kept the original vibe...ordered the Turkey wrap and sweet potatoe waffle fries. Turkey wrap had a lot of feta but it was tasty after I took some out.

This place used to be a awesome restaurant but the quality of food has gone down and there prices have skyrocketed. We came in and sat for 45 min without getting menus or waters. The owners really need to be more involved, their business is failing and they are very uninvolved and it shows. The price of sidecars were $8 now they are $16 the burgers used to be $13 now they are $18. They made something really good jacked up their rates and then lost the quality.

Absolutely, fuckin PHENOMENAL! 5 Mary's, hiding out in the lil town of Fort Jones, Ca is a treasure worth hunting for. Super cool, rustic place with high ceilings, huge wood slab bar top, friendly and helpful employees AND some of the best food I've had in awhile! 1st visit... soon to be 1st of many! Went a bit healthier today, got a steak Cobb salad. The steak was seared and cooked spot on and the flavors of the bacon, bleu cheese, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes were so on point it couldn't have been ANY better! Looking forward to checking out way more dishes soon!

    Are there vegetarian burger options?

Not for burgers, but there are veggie options, including mac & cheese and salads. They could probably make the brussel sprouts hold the bacon for you.

So glad we did!!!! Ordered the spicy margarita pizza and the blackened chicken Cobb salad!!! Pizza was great but the Cobb salad was AMAZING!!! It was a hefty serving. The inside was gorgeous with very cool murals and a great vibe. The outdoor space (where we chose to sit) was nice also. Comfortable seating with a view of downtown. Next, we were met with the nicest staff from the hostess to our wonderful waitress Anna. She was helpful and honest and an absolute joy. We'd go again just to see her. Lastly, but possibly most importantly, the food was superb. Huge portions fairly priced with superb ingredients. I ordered the blackened chicken Cobb salad, which Anna warned me was a bit spicy and she was right, but mixed with the delicious dressing, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, egg, and avocado, the spice was perfect. My husband got the California burger and fries . It was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The fries were crispy and flavorful also. Overall, an excellent dinner and I highly recommend a visit here. Next time we will get the pizza. They looked and smelled so scrumptious.

I'm really glad I listened to all the good reviews here on Yelp. Cocorico is a great restaurant. I…read morewas able to score a reservation for dinner about a week before we traveled to Ashland. Our table was in their patio space, which I actually like better than the indoor part of the restaurant. The patio space feels very open and has a lot of live plants in the planters that make space between tables. It was a little warm on the patio since it was 98 degrees outside, but they keep it relatively cool on this mostly enclosed patio. Our server was great. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. She helped us figure out what we wanted to order and checked in on us just the right amount. You can tell the food here is very fresh and homemade. We started with the Deviled Eggs, which are really special. I love how they serve them over a bed of crushed up potato chips as they give this dish some salty crunch. Next we had the Beet salad, which is marinated beets over a whipped cheese. The beets do have a strong vinegar flavor, but it's balanced out beautifully by the cheese. My wife ordered the Mushroom Bolognese, which was probably the best dish of the evening. This is an incredible, vegetarian dish that is so meaty without any meat. The finely diced mushroom sauce is so good along with the handmade noodles. Also, adding burrata to it gives it a perfect creaminess. I ordered the pork chop, which was also excellent and enormous. It did take me a lot longer to eat since it was a little hard to cut, the compote on top added a great sweetness, but I feel like it could've used more. Also, the polenta and grilled asparagus was awesome. Lastly, we got the Rice Pudding for dessert. It comes with a hazelnut crumble and a dolce de leche sauce. Normally, I feel like rice pudding has a kind of thin, milky consistency, but not this. It is think and has a wonderful texture. It is probably the best rice pudding I've ever had. The nuts give a satisfying crunch and the dolce de leche sauce is light and sweet. Disclaimer: we did order one dish we really didn't like. It was a special salad with endives and lentils. The server was happy to get us another dish.
