I usually always had positive experiences with Wonderland, taking my family of four to go see…read moremovies. I have to drive 30 minutes from out of town to get there but the prices are always made the movie going experience more enjoyable as I felt like I didn't have to break the bank, but recently I mistakenly bought tickets for the wrong day online, and I only found out when people were sitting in what I thought were my seats. When I showed the employee my QR code, it still allowed the tickets to be printed out from the day before, so I bought concessions for the whole family and when I was confused about our seats being taken, they explained I bought tickets on the wrong day, and that there was nothing they could do for me. I reached out to their office and was never reached out to. I understand that I made an error in not paying closer attention to the date i selected, but it left a bad taste in my mouth that I wasn't even allowed to get credits for a future showing. They knew I hadn't seen the movie already, because they were able to be printed when I showed up. I've been a loyal customer and tell a lot of my friends about Wonderland, but I kind of ended up feeling hung out to dry. It was a little humiliating to be standing there holding popcorn, drinks, and candy just to tell my kids we had to go home.

When I walked in, I just got my digital ticket scanned and was directed to the concession stand for pickup order. Everything was ready, and it took less than 4 minutes from the time I entered to get my snacks. It wasn't busy at all. I found my auditorium and seat, which wasn't hard because I was the only one watching the movie . The seats do not recline at all, and it's a bit outdated, but I enjoyed the movie

We came today for the Mean Girls movie and each ticket was only $5.50 for an evening showing. The Loma only has three theaters and doesn't have all the glitz and glamour of a Celebration! Cinema, but it is where I prefer to go personally. I can easily only spend $20 for tickets and treats to enjoy a movie so I will most definitely continue to be a patron of the Loma simply based on prices.

At only $4 per person during the week and $6 Fri & Sat, you can't go wrong! Plus, popcorn is only $5 for a large! (Not the best popcorn ever but doable) It's an old 1 room theatre from the 20's and still has some original architecture inside. They're still comfy enough, but when the lights come on you see you've sat in a pretty disheveled seat. The projection is pretty good, but these theatres really struggle with sound. It seems to be a newer issue -- I don't remember it happening much during my visits to this theatre years ago -- but you hear rumbling and loud sounds from the theatre next to you quite easily. During the quiet parts of my Dune 2 showing, I could hear Dune 2 music from the theatre next door! The worst part is I wouldn't even say the theaters are loud... sound isolation is just so poor that the movie doesn't sound particularly great and you hear the one playing next door. The good news is these are solvable problems... but they need investment from the company. Hope they put some love into it.

Check the web, they only show one film a month no summer shows. $5 admission $3 for student with ID. Architecture is not like Music Box in Chicago, nor Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, but same great film audience.
