57. Vegetable Lo Mein
Yasser H.

I can't agree with 5star restaurant with its name, but 2 star is more suitable. We arrived here 35 mins before closing which I guess is never a good idea. We ordered shrimp fried rice and vegetable Lo Mein and some spring rolls. I didn't care for the spring roll. They had some pasty filling inside. The shrimp fried rice was ok. The rice was very dark complexed. Perhaps, they added too much soy sauce while preparing food. The Lo Mein was average also. It had a strange after taste which is hard to explain. Think of it like a charcoal pepperish taste which I couldn't understand. By the way, the restaurant workers were all eating in a single round table when we walked in and it felt like we were rushed. That was my fault to arrive so late towards closing time. There was one other couple that arrived after us.

Be aware of this place they like to rob people. Here is a $14.00 boneless spare ribs and more that 1/3 is broccoli, they fill this to make it look like you're are getting your money's worth. Thank God I'm not allergic to broccoli. Had to call, the guy that answer the phone was rude. Once I explained the issue to the owner, and show him picture I was able to get my money back. It's sad as this place have great food, but scamming people like this doesn't matter how good your food is.

Good place. Loved the SR11 wonderful roll special rolls. Their basil fried rice was ok. Not similar to Thai places. It's more like Chinese style fried rice done with white rice. Their pad ki mao (drunken noodle) was also not like Thai places. It was white. Usually Thai places has that black/yellow sauce. Best way to explain this will be if you tossed in plain drunken noodles on steamed chicken and veggie. They should add more of that sauce that Thai places use. But overall good place. Greta customer service. Small mom and pop shop which I'll always support more than restaurant chains.

I stopped in after finding out Taco Bell across from them was closed for renovations. It's full service sit down restaurant with liquor license. Being lunch time did not order any wine. They served hot tea and glass of water to start with. They did have menu with half or full meal during lunch time . Veggie mixed with garlic sauce was too bland so I asked for hot oil chili sauce and hot mustard sauce to blend with veggies , rice. That really made my dish as I wanted. Also ordered spring roll. Service was fast and waiters very receptive. Be back

Fool me once shame on me, cool me twice shame on me. The first bad experience here was with chicken chow mein, it had no seasoning it tasted like dirty water, told the waiter and he called this dude in a blazer, I explained, his response was that I don't know what that should taste like, that it's meant to be plain. Ok, no, I love chicken chow mein and that was not right. Didn't get my money back didn't get a replacement, nothing. This second time I just ordered a soup because I have a nasty head cold, I've had this soup twice before dine-in and I figured it being brothy and a touch spicy it was going to be perfect. Get home take the soup out, where's the soup? It's a container of noodles no broth about 6 dumplings and some green leaves, again, no broth, is it still soup? I pretty much paid 13$ for 2 packs of .25€ ramen.

The food I ordered wasn't edible. I tried but it tasted so bad! I got the green curry with tofu. The green looked neon green. I've ordered this dish many times at many restaurants and this place has the honor of being the worst green curry I've ever had. The eggplant and the tofu were huge, random sizes, and weirdly shaped. Also, the restaurant was packed (surprisingly) and there was one server. Poor service coupled with horrible food would equal a zero score if it was allowed.

Staff was so nice and accommodating willing to adjust for my kids and food didnt take long. My kids enjoyed every bite. Being from NY prices were just in the right ran for the amount of food you got. Well definitely be back if we are ever back in town .

Group of 6 of us went to Myst for our last night in Jim Thorpe…read more Food was very disappointing. I ordered shrimp and scallop hibachi and it was incredibly oily and greasy, and the portion of shrimp and scallops was tiny. My friend also got hibachi and felt the same way. My salad was watery, and the clear mushroom soup tasted very strange. I couldn't take more than a bite of either the soup or the salad. For my entree, asked the server if I could please have extra vegetables instead of noodles, and she said that there was a "language barrier" in the kitchen, so she didn't want to ask that. I thought that was an odd comment for her to make. My daughter ordered some sushi rolls and liked them, and my husband and our friend also liked their sushi; so maybe sushi is a better choice here. The place is small and to echo other reviewers, tables are very crammed together and you will bump in to other people just by moving around. The place is cool looking on the inside and outside, definitely an interesting vibe, and they have a full bar. We did have to ask multiple times about the status of our beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). My drink was not good, it was a sake/lemon drop hybrid type of thing and it was insanely sweet - I couldn't finish it.
