I ordered the surf and turf hibachi. Filet mignon came out to a perfect medium rare and the lobster was not rubbery. The added butter it was cooked with was the right touch. I ordered the chicken tempura roll which I didn't get until the middle of my entree. That was a little odd to me. Had to wait a little longer than I thought just for some water. Tried this place on a whim while at Camelback. Staff was super attentive. No wait on drink refills. Waiter was very friendly. The underground fish tank was cool, but felt kind of run down. I think there was only one giant eel. More fish = more better, The decor outside the bathroom captivated my four year old. Who doesn't love superhero's on potties? The food is what took away the stars. The rice was not cooked well. I thought it was undercooked and burned at the same time. Filet mignon was good, I liked the mushrooms in the veggie mix. So traveling thru down and went to another place first that had lots of billboards up advertising. I'll just say that place was so exceptionally overpriced that we walked out (which I've never done before). Paradise on the other hand, short drive away and was phenomenal!!! Our kids enjoyed their kids meals and I loved the surf & turf (hibachi filet + lobster tail). My wife and our 3 year old also loved the filet! The soup and salad were perfect as well. Upon entering, you will see their interesting floor setup which allows you to see their live fish swimming underneath. Unsure about whether it's on the menu or it's just their underground tank but very cool to see. Their hibachi room is in the back, past the bathrooms. The decor surrounding the bathroom is unique and worth a visit. I chose steak and lobster for my meal, which comes with 3 free shrimp, a salad and a miso soup. Service is very good, family owned restaurant that hasn't been open a full year yet. Some interesting hibachi acts (fire on head, singing, throwing zucchini into your mouth, baby sake, etc). This was our first hibachi experience. It was a Wednesday evening so the place was empty but the chef still made it quite an entertaining show. He was skilled at his craft and had us laughing. My steak and chicken were cooked to perfection. The steak was medium rare and the chicken was juicy. I would say that the seasoning was quite bland. The shrimp however was extremely overcooked. My husband got salmon which was so overcooked that he didn't eat it. I attempted to politely let the server know that the salmon was overcooked and asked if he could get something else. The best Hibachi in the Poconos. The restaurant is large and beautifully decorated. The service was excellent and our chef was interesting and fun. The food was exceptionally fresh and well prepared. My daughter reserved and ate dinner at a table in this restaurant with us, when we were celebrating her birthday in the Poconos, on Mar 15. Food was fresh, except for the tofu I ordered, chef didn't cook them on the hotplate table, it was left in a corner of the hotplate table all time, merely threw them in my direction at the end of his cooking performance. This tofu have the hardest crust (batter) on them, inside, shrunk lumps of tofu a little softer, were these from a box of pre-cooked tofu left on the kitchen shelf for a long time? they were hard, terrible to eat, how can the restaurant serve such food? My noodle was also overly greased up (unhealthy), had to ask kitchen for big bowls of hot water to rinse it out. read more
