Booked van three months in advance for twelve Seniors Citizens going to a wedding. Two days before they called and stated van broken (understandable). They did rent another for van for the twelve passengers, but it only seated eleven. One of the seniors rode where the luggage go. The driver also stated it was an overbook not van trouble (whether true or not I do not know). On the way home, two of the folks decided to Uber home so there would be enough seats. We used Five Star Limo for a trip to NYC. Carlos was our driver. He did a great job! We wanted to eat near the Statue of Liberty and he had a great recommendation. We took a very nice 6 pass gray limo, it came with iced water and free champagne. I'll take it! I would definitely use this company again! They seem to know the business well. I do not normally post this but if I can save someone a lot of money I will. I just rented a limo to bring 8 people to a concert, 4 were teenagers. I will not rent again. The car was horrible, broken interior parts, dirty glasses, the car shook horrible and let's not forget the gouge in the back tire that made me so nervous we would have a blow out on the highway. We also lost all electrical before we even left the concert venue. Had no lights,ac or music the whole way home. I also called the day of to confirm I could update payment method if needed and was told yes. I updated the contract upon drop off with a different card, emailed my contact in the morning to also let her know. Well they never updated it. I normally would not post a bad review especially in today's time. I know businesses are doing the best they can. However I emailed my contact first to explain my frustration they did not update the card on file and then a second email to explain my frustration on the car and our experience. They had no problem taking my business however it must not mean much because I never received a reply. No sanything. I will not I use them again and I will not recommend anyone to them please be careful I chose them because it was the best price, and let me tell you that you pay for what you get never again!!!!! read more

For our wedding my husband and I wanted to rent a beautiful, classic, and elegant car to make us feel like royalty and cart us around on our wedding day! We were very impressed with the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud at Five Star Limo. Our wedding was on a Thursday and they were more then willing to give us a discount because we weren't using the car during a very busy period. They were professional, courteous and willing to work with us. Our driver surprised us with some champagne, and was very knowledgeable about the car and even the area. Five star limousine? More like 0 stars! If I could give this place 0 stars I most definitely would! Do not use this limousine company!! First of all, the limo was nice and all but that thought wasn't even crossing our minds when the air conditioner didn't work and was blowing out heat! One of our passengers was dripping sweat and almost vomited. When we arrived in Boston to our destination, we asked Bill (our limo driver) to check out the air conditioner, maybe we pressed a wrong button. Long story short, we were sweating more on the way back home than we were on the way up! Not only was it like sitting in a sauna, but Bill's driving was actually frightful at certain parts of the ride. He stopped short constantly, swore at other people on the road, we all slid in the limo, things fell. It was just awful. The experience was overall the worst experience I have ever had with a limo. I feel really bad for the prom he was going to after. Those kids must've been dripping sweat! Avoid this limousine company!! read more

We used Five Star to bring a group of 11 people from Cranston to the cruise port in NY. Everything went perfect. We had a brand new 15 passenger van which allowed plenty of room even with all of our luggage. Our driver Anthony was awesome. He was prompt when picking us up to and from NY and made sure that he stopped whenever we needed a break. After making phone calls we found that Five Star had the best price and the best options for what we needed. They also great to deal with as far as getting everything confirmed and set up. My daughter was married September 6, 2014 in Rhode Island. We had no idea of what Limo company to use since we are from Massachusetts. I researched and spoke to the owner of the business Sharon. We could not have been happier with the service. The bride and bridesmaids were running late due to a hairdresser appointment. The driver Jim helped them feel at ease and had great knowledge of the area along with great ideas for the Photographer who was not from the area. Jim was professional and courteous. We had our wedding early September, everything was booked and paid on time. The drivers were amazing. they were really nice and professional. The day before my wedding they called us and let us know that one of the limos that we had rented broke down and it would not be fixed in time for the wedding so they were going to give us a party bus instead at no extra charge. Well first of all, why would there be an extra charge if we did not ask for the party bus?? well we didn't make a big deal about it and said it was okay no problem. we figured the groom and groomsmen would have a blast on the party bus. the day of the wedding everything was going well until the party bus with our parents and part of our bridal party broke down!! My father in law went ahead and fixed the issue and the owner had the nerve to say that he didn't do anything yet his hands were all dirty and he was under the hood working on the bus. regardless of anything it was my wedding and he didn't have to do anything, but he did. when we called to complain the owner stated it was not her problem and there was nothing they could do. they ended up giving us only $100 refund!! that was ridiculous!! never again would i rent from this company again!! they do not take accountability for their errors and to only give us back $100 it was a shame!! we missed taking pictures outside with our parents and bridal party and those are memories we will never get back!! find a better place!!! read more
