I had an ABS issue that I took to these guys to fix. They seem to have temporaritly fixed (or covered up) the issue but the warning lights and indicators remained on. I didn't think much of it until I returned the car for an inspection and they told me thier equipment could not bring up any codes. (They told me the battery must have been recently disconnected but it has not been touched.) Thier equipment to fix the ABS issue and even to do a simple inspection is innoperable. I didn't realize this until the second visit. Then they made me pay for thier equipment not working. Basically, blaming me for thier inability to do the work. read more

Just moved into town and the starter on my 2008 Honda Civic gave out. I asked around different locations about a quote to fix it. I missed this place but when my tow truck driver asked how much I was going to pay to fix it, he recommended this place to me instead. In Octoberish of last year, I started using them after my car broke down, and I got my car towed there. Everyone's super friendly, and willing to help in anyway. I recently went there to get my check, engine light and a couple other lights diagnosed. I was in and out in maybe an hour, and my problems were solved. Again, the staff is really friendly and so is the owner. they treat you like people, car problems can be very stressful as is so having a friendly staff really is helpful. read more

Took my 2014 Mazda for state inspection because they had $5 discount, but the guy in charge was rude and insisted that my window glass was too dark and had to be removed and replaced. I have had the same glass for 4 years. So I drove across the street to Select Automotive and got my inspection for $25, quick and easy. Fix-A-Car will never get my business. read more

My car had a small unnoticeable oil leak, but it was also jerking and needed a valve cover gasket which called the check engine light to come on so I called and Kevin helped me from start to finish they did a great job on my car. SCAM!! Be careful with this place!! I had purchased a oil change and then they charged me $20 for a "special oil filter?! On top of the money I had given them!! I drive a Toyota...... Toyota's are no race cars, they don't need special filter. I will be taking my car to another shop to check the oil because I don't even trust it's synthetic. Awful stereotypical abusivo mechanics. I know my car didn't need a $20 filter, you can't fool me, the only reason I payed it's because they look like the kind who will call the police over $20 THEY ARE STEALING FROM YOU!! read more

Can I give 0 stars? Awful service! I used to come here on a regular basis to get an oil change for my old car because it was close and cheap. I have returned 2 cars since and was once told they couldn't change my oil because the gear shift wouldn't work LOL. Most recently went and was quoted $91 for an oil change because I have a "new car" and they can only put synthetic in new cars... my 2006 car.. in 2018..... "new". Never returning!!!! read more

Everyone is on their phone in the garage or just flat out ignoring the customers. Waited super long for an employee to acknowledge me once I pulled up. To the garage. They all looked at me and never asked what service I needed today or anything. I had to get out of my car and walk up to one of the guys face to face just to ask if I could get my oil changed. Customer service, or lack there of is terrible. Employees were very dismissive as if they had better things to do than answer your questions about your oil change. There was a heavy-set guy with a blue collared shirt on working that told me "You can go down to Jiffy Lube or somewhere else for that" when asked " am I able to stay in the car?" (During my oil change). I've always stayed in the car at other locations and didn't think it'd be a problem. I just happened to ask and received a very ugly response. He was the furthest thing from friendly. He actually walked off as soon as he said that. All I could say was wow. Needless to say I decided to take my business elsewhere. DON'T Come here. Before I came in I called and told them I will be there in 30 and the guy who picked up the phone say yes it's fine, once I arrived Ruben said they were going to they're break and to come back at 1 I told him I called and he left to see what he could do for me, he came back with the phone and asked at what time I had called and too basically see if I was lying I showed him my last call and the time and then he said he didn't talk to me I told him I spoke with someone with and accent he then asked me rudely "do I have an accent?" I was like no but someone answered then he said idont know someone must of pranked you, apparently they "prank" customers here. Also, after that he said plus we can't even work on your car is has hood damage, Pretty rude I told him he didn't have to talk to me like that and then he left while I was going to ask him something.
