I had my Scion repaired here. Everything was fine. Then I asked why my brake lights and rear wiper was no longer working and they ghosted me. I am grateful to them because they worked really hard on my car to get everything right, and did little extra details. So service-wise, they were great! I'm giving a lower rating because the owner had the American flag "punisher" symbol on his coffee mug, displayed proudly on his desk. This symbol has been appropriated by far right extremists since January 6th. So be warned. Being a person who holds multiple marginalized identities, it's scary to see this symbol. read more

My experience with Fix Auto Cap. City has been great so far. My vehicle insurance works with them and a few other repair shops in the area. I selected them based on the location. It's always scary finding a good repair shop that you can trust, but since day one I received great customer service so I scheduled my first appointment with them to quote me for the repairs. I met with Hunter in person, who was super nice, and he explained the process for getting repairs done on my vehicle. He made me feel comfortable and reassured so I scheduled my repairs with them. A couple of months ago I got into an accident that caused some serious damage underneath my car. Fix auto was so kind throughout the entire process of getting my car fixed up! Kim was always on top of communicating what the status of my car was! Recently my car started making some gnarly sounds, so I came back to get it checked out and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and get it fixed within a couple of days! I really appreciate that they seemed to genuinely care about my needs and they also explained what was going on with my car in terms that I (as someone who knows nothing about cars) could understand. I had an awful experience here trying to get my car fixed. I had an appointment with them on Wednesday at 8:30am and they called me Tuesday the day before my appointment at 1pm saying that they need to reschedule my appointment back for 3 weeks. Liz told me that the repaired man was sick and their was people ahead of me. I then spoke to the manger and he told me the repair man had a family emergency and that I can take or leave the appointment for 3 week later. I understand things happen but the communication with in the auto shop didn't make me feel safe leaving my car here for an unknown period of time. I was also called at 1pm the day before which was incredibly last minute. I had taken work off in the morning to drop my car off and get a ride to enterprise to get my rental which I also had a appointment for that that morning. I ended up going to a different auto shop and had a completely different and wonderful experience. read more

I have never written a review before but I felt compelled to recognize not only how professionally the shop handled a difficult situation for me but the outstanding customer service they provided, a rare combination in our society today. My car was vandalized and suffered extensive damage. They assisted me in dealing with the Placer County Sheriff's department and my insurance firm, expertly documenting the extensive damage to my auto. Most importantly they completed the repairs in record time. My niece was able to get 3 days leave from her marine training school and the speedy repair was especially vital to my getting to spend time with her before she returned to training. I can't say enough great things about Fix auto Capital city. After calling several auto body shops and being told it would be a month and a half before they could start working on my truck and another month and a half for repairs I called Fix Auto. I spoke to Hunter and he told me I could bring my truck in the next day. Not only did he say he could start working on it immediately but it might only take 2 weeks to a month for the repairs depending on parts availability. I was very happy with the way I was treated when I dropped off my truck. Hunter was great at keeping me informed of the progress of the repairs. Hunter always took my calls and answered any questions. Unfortunately there were delays on some parts and Hunter let me know and always apologized even though it was no fault of his own. After not being able to get a bracket Hunter told me he would buff and wax the entire truck even the parts he didn't repair. The bracket was harder to to find then originally thought so to make it up to me he said he would clean the inside of my truck and my truck is a work truck and the inside was a mess. Again he did this to make up for something that wasn't his fault. The icing on the cake was when Hunter offered to drive the truck to a Fix Auto in Orangevale which is where I live. Saving me the trouble of driving across town to pick it up. Their professionalism was off the chart. If I ever need body work I know where I'm taking it and you should to.
