Do not take your car here. I recently brought in my 05 Nissan 350z for an A pillar replacement. They told me it wouldn't take longer than an hour. I come to find out after three hours of waiting, that they broke MY replacement A pillar and hadn't even attempted to fit it to my car yet. They proceeded to say they barely touched it. I will say they "fixed it" and proceeded to install it right away, but still some of the worst service I've ever received. Please don't take your car here. read more

I had my 17 Escape repaired here as it was recommended and often used by my insurance. My daughter had wrecked the right side of the car so we had it covered under the claim. Dropped it off for 2 almost 3 weeks. It was a lot of work to fix as it was suspension, axel, tires, ball bearings, repainting the hood and quarter panel and the list goes on. All legit repairs to be done. Customer service was good and they communicated often as to where they were and time frames therein. All good here too. This was all done in July 2020. Fast forward to January 2021 5 months later. We don't drive much since I now work at home and my daughter works 3/4 of a mile away from home. We drive it for groceries and errands on the weekends. This week there was an odd noise coming from the back right tire and the brakes were mushy. Took it to my local shop to look at by my house. After they diagnosed the issue he asked if the car was wrecked before and repaired. Yes it was. He went on to tell me that literally the entire suspension, rear axles, and brake calipers were all loose. Not kind of loose, finger tight sand they could take them off without a wrench. He said the back right tire almost fell off completely and he was surprised that it hadn't fallen off. Also my paint job is bad. I mean there are bumps in it from the surface not being clean and the clean room they use for paint (a shipping container) isn't clean. Nice guys here no doubt. Shoddy shoddy work and we are seriously lucky to not have gotten into an accident or even killed due to their negligence! read more

Great experience on a paint job on my truck. Apologize in advance for the novel. My 20 year old truck was showing oxidation and wear and tear on the paint. I wanted to get the worst spots (hood and roof) repainted. I stopped by when I was making rounds getting a few appraisals from different AutoBody shops. They asked if I had an appointment, which I did not. No problem, I filled out a form, they grabbed a clipboard and came out to take a look at my truck. Discussed what I needed and what they may need to do to get the job done. Gave me an estimate on the spot. The price was around what I expected. So we scheduled a repair date right away. I still wanted other estimates, so I went to the next shop. Next place went through the process and said they'd send an estimate through email later that afternoon. Estimate showed up 4 days later, about $800 higher than Fix Auto Gilbert. I stopped by a big name AutoBody in the area and their office was closed. Called the number on the door and was told Estimates were a week out. I scheduled for the next week. Showed up at my appointment time, parked in front of the office, no one came out. Went to the door and receptionist says someone will be with me. Waited for 10 minutes and guys says that they aren't doing customer pay walkins because they are so busy with insurance jobs. Wasted my time. Anyway back to Fix Auto. Since my scheduled repair was a few weeks out per my needs, I called the week before to confirm. They said Yep all good to go. I showed up at my appointment time time and discussed my preferred contact method which was Text messages since I was going out of town for a few days. I received regular Text updates during the repair/paint. Gave me a heads up it would be done the next day and asked when I'd like to pick it up. Arrived and was extremely happy with the paint job. This was going to be my second time using this auto shop in about 2 months. My first experience was great and I gave them a 5 star review. This way around was very different. The associate who helped me the first time is no longer there, and Jay was my associate. I am dealing with a third party insurance and I had been given very specific instructions by the insurance adjustor. I tried to give those instructions to Jay at the time of the estimate, and Jay was completely dismissive with me. He did not want to listen and/or follow what I had been asked to do by the insurance company. Jay said he would follow up with me on the estimate still that day. I did not hear back from him into the following week so I decided to call for an update. Again, Jay was condescending and said we had to wait for insurance company. I patiently waited until this last week, 2 weeks later. I called the shop and Chris told me he would ask Jay to give me a call. Again, a whole 24 hours passed and nothing. In the meantime I am calling the insurance company too. I finally call the shop back and talk to Jay. At this point I am frustrated with the whole process. Jay tells me he is leaving messages with the generic claim department in the insurance plan. Again, I try to tell him that I have an adjustor and specific instructions on how to proceed. I then ask to talk to a manger, and finally speak with Loren, the owner. Loren was attentive and said he would follow up the next day. I did get a voicemail from Loren which I could not clearly understand so I called back and left a message. My call again was not returned. I again called back and finally got a text message that said insurance company cannot provide open shop assignment. Again, they ask me for adjustor's email which I tried to provide from day 1 of this process. The text also says I can try to use an insurance plan's shop and get the job done that way. Which is what I am going to do now. I am very disappointed on the service I was provided or lack of, and the way I was treated this time around. read more

I brought my car here because they were recommended to me. I brought the ins companies estimate in for them to see. They knew who it was from the get go. I had to wait well over a month to get my car fixed. I brought my car in and they called me and said that because the claim was with Commonwealth Casualty Insurance, I would have to pay the difference of over $400.00 for labor. Because Commonwealth only pays $40.00 and hour for mechanics/body work. I won't pay for something that wasn't my fault. Im annoyed that I had to wait over a month and now I have to find another place to fix my car. THEY knew who the insurance company was from the beginning. Said they would have to call and get a supplement if they needed more money to fix my car. But not the case. I am tired of bad customer service. They should have told me this up front. Mike the owner immediately called me and raised me to come in within the hour, and gave me an estimate and contacted Carvana and silver rock to get it done. I decided to bring my 2015 Subaru Impreza to the Gilbert location after reading a couple of reviews online about the Mesa location. When I first brought my car in for an estimate, Mike was very thorough in explaining what would need to be done and why. He was also very patient and helpful with answering all of my questions, some of which weren't even related to the car I brought in. I could tell that these guys actually enjoy their work. They also took me up the road to Enterprise to get my rental car as well. That might not seem like much, but I've personally been to body shops that aren't so generous. The work on the car itself is fantastic. The paint is matched and blended perfectly and the body work looks like the car was never even in an accident. I mean it looks as new as the day we bought it. The car is a blue pearl color and I've always worried with pearls and metallic paints that they're a little harder to match. Turns out that it just takes a good body shop like this one to make the car look perfect. I recommend these guys to anyone who needs body work done. Even if your insurance company has a preferred shop, tell them you want to go with these guys instead. read more

I've brought it to Loren's attn and still no answer. They claim it's my insurance but really it shouldve been taken care of 1st time around or at least 2nd time when I brought it back! instead, I'm having to cough up +$300 out of my own pocket since they won't make it right!
