I mean almost immediate appointments were scheduled after receiving some good news -a quote that was easily $100 lower than a competitors price for the passenger window. A few hundred dollar difference for the windshield too. I only learned that when I was mistakenly provided a windshield replacement and calibration quote from competitor when I had asked for price on passenger window. On both recent occasions the service actually came directly to my location. Ryan called as anticipated, notified me how far out he was and arrived within the time expected. From start to finish he got the damaged glass removed, replacements installed, finishing the repairs, then wrapping up by processing payment. Polite and professional all the way. For the windshield, it had been completed on Wednesday the prior week. Caleb, of the Calibration Crew, called to notify me he was on his way shortly after the installation was finished. T & S Auto Glass knows how to hire quality people and execute great service. Denote was my technician and he was also a good representation of professionalism and took care of installation, vacuuming all the glass and didn't leave any glasss in my drive way. I was referred to them by my Insurance, State Farm and they will now be my preferred choice for my households auto glass replacement. Safelite initially ordered the wrong window for my 2023 Tesla Model 3. I was told that it was their automated system that caused the mishap, which I was willing to understand. Mistakes happen. Before going through this again, however, I specifically contacted Safelite and asked them to confirm that the replacement they ordered was the correct window. I was assured that it was. Then, about 30 minutes later, I received a call telling me that, once again, they had the wrong window. This time they blamed it on Tesla. If the first order was incorrect because of information provided by your poor automated system okay I am willing to give this shop another chance. After the two mistakes, and especially after a customer specifically asks you to double-check the replacement, I would expect someone to actually verify the part before confirming it is correct. I ultimately gave up and contacted a different local auto-glass company. I sent them the information, and they immediately noticed the part-number discrepancy, confirmed the correct window, and were able to come to my house the same day. One mistake would not have prompted me to leave a negative review. Even two mistakes can happen. What bothered me was that I specifically tried to prevent the second mistake by asking Safelite to confirm the part, was told it had been confirmed, and then learned 30 minutes later that it was wrong again. Save yourself the hassle and find anybody else.

Great experience working with Gold Star Auto Glass…read more I woke up to discover a small windshield chip/star had expanded overnight into a pretty large and winding crack. After imagining the worst case scenario dealing with insurance and the auto glass business- I decided to check the trusty Yelp app to see if I could find a competitive price to replace the glass. I called a few five-star providers in my general area that were able to come to me. Gold Star had the best price and was able to come to me same day! They arrived on time and began working on the car after a few basic questions. I would say the overall project took around 60 minutes and the work was excellent. They offer a lifetime warranty on the windshield for leaks, whistles, etc. That's a nice touch. Gold Star was about $50 less than the next competitor and as much as $100+ cheaper than some of the "big box" chain companies. It was a good experience all around and I would certainly recommend Gold Star to anyone. I ended up circumventing my insurance and simply going out of pocket but I did notice that Gold Start works with just about any insurance company so that's another plus. Give them a call!

Doug did the leg work and contacted the insurance and arranged the claim, work order and repair date. He is also a gun guy to talk to on the phone. Luis PAC was the technician that came out. He came early in the time frame and told me he needed 45 minutes to do the repair. Luis finished the job under the time and made sure it was perfect. Bonus points because he made a easy removal tab with the blue tape to remove it with ease. Great work Luis and Doug.

They wanted me to come back a THIRD time to have one of their "better" installers do the work, but I accepted a refund and sincere apology instead. The first time I was in, the installer soaked my armrest so badly it made my shirt wet and caused damage to the arm rest material. A different company had zero problems and took a fraction of the time at a lower cost. I personally asked the installer for the different company if there was anything difficult and he looked at me confused. He said there was no problem tinting the windshield. Therefore, I feel like Xclusive lied to me and was using subpar installers. The only positive thing to share is that the tint on my side and back windows came out nicely.
