They were so friendly and they also paint matched my cars odd black almost dark purple paint color, which I was originally a bit worried about them being able to match it well enough. Josh and co got the back right panel of my car looking good as new and their skilled painter matched the white paint of the new panel to that of my car, which is really hard to do if you don't know what you're doing. Josh sent me frequent text updates, so I always knew the status of the repair being done and never once felt left in the dark. We agreed that I didn't really need a new bumper and Haydn offered to buff it out if I wasn't going to be charged with a deductible by the insurance company. They recently worked on my car, I got into an accident and had significant damage on my front bumper. To start their customer service is horrible! Whoever the lady is at reception does not have very good bedside manner. I received a call regarding the process of the repair of my car which I couldn't answer because I was at work and when I called them back the receptionist had no idea why they called and told me "I'm just the receptionist" okay? You guys called me, shouldn't you know why you called??? When my car was finally ready I asked what time I could pick it up, the lady told me "No later than 4:30 because if you come in later it's a pain in the butt to get everything processed before we close at 5" Mrs. Ma'am I don't get off work until 5:30 so I'm having to get off of work over an hour early and coordinate a ride to get me there! Sorry to inconvenience you and be a "pain in your butt" When I finally came to pick up the car there was a noticeable chip of paint in the drivers side door that was not there when I originally dropped it off. When I brought it to their attention they reacted like they didn't believe it was their fault. After reviewing photos they came to the conclusion that it was their doing and finally opted to fix it. The overall job on the car was good, but just very drawn out and their communication skills and customer service is severely lacking. read more

Review of the Fixauto in Springfield, OR Someone backed into my car in a parking lot and left a massive dent on the front bumper. Luckily, their insurance paid for the repairs, and everything with that went smoothly. Fix auto has a partnership with State Farm and the reviews online were good, so I decided to stay in-network to make the process easier for everyone. To be fair, there were a lot of pros. But overall, the bodywork done on my vehicle left me very disappointed with my experience. Cons My biggest gripe, and probably the main reason I am leaving a negative review, is the condition of my car's hood. The work order says they repaired a dent on the left edge above the fender. I never saw a dent and after looking at the images from the accident site, I still did not see any dents on the hood, but I'll take the mechanics' word on that. The gripe isn't the claim to have repaired a dent, it's that the hood is overall in worse condition than it was when I left the vehicle. There are several very small dents and scratches all over the front of the hood (the dents look similar to hail damage, which is very confusing to me about their cause/origin). Whoever worked on the hood was very careless and did a very poor job. Second, the white part of the grill, between the actual grill and hood, was not replaced, which makes the hood appear misaligned at the front. I was told that it would be taken care of and it was obviously not. The scratches on the hood even extend to this part of the grill as well. Otherwise, the bumper and fender fixes are both fine, but obviously replacements. The paint job does not match very well with the rest of the vehicle and is a visibly different tint of white. However, I'm not ignorant to how this is somewhat common in these types of replacements. If the paint job was the only problem, I wouldn't have even mentioned it and probably left a 5-star review because of the pros. To be fair, I'll share the pros of my experience as well. Pros The people were very friendly and accommodating. Honestly, a highlight of my experience. Fix Auto did my appraisal quickly, got me in even quicker, and finished the repairs in only 2 days. They even used OEM part per my request (a request which they had no obligation to accommodate). I consider all of this a miracle given the shortages of car parts right now, how clearly busy they are, and how insurances push for aftermarket parts to cut costs. They even gave me a $5 gift card to Dutch Bros to thank me for my service. A small gesture, but a welcome addition to the friendly service. Overall, friendly environment but very disappointed with the work they did on my vehicle. read more

After a hit and run incident, I was really skeptical about having my bumper repaired because although my Acura is great condition, it is 16 years old and I was worried the paint wouldn't match exactly. I wish I could give these guy's (Once you go in, you'll realize that's a pun, as the owner's name is Guy) 10 stars. They were so helpful and incredibly kind from start to finish. I really hope they feel good about what they do because they really help people out. Just as an example of what they do, they gave me a quote to replace my door that had been damaged in an auto accident to the point where the window didn't work and the door stuck when you tried to open it. I kept that quote for almost two months before returning when someone threw a rock threw my window, necessitating a visit to the shop. At that point, Guy and his staff not only matched the price of the original quote, they beat it! After speedily replacing the door in only 4 or 5 hours, they held my car on their lot for an additional day longer than they thought they would have to on the lot due to a miscommunication that was entirely my fault. No extra charge!! On top of that, they vacuumed and cleaned the inside of the car, as well as applying a water resistant wax finish to the exterior of the car, all for no extra charge, meaning that everything they did was less than the original two month old quote. They provided honestly remarkable service and the car looks almost as good as new, I could not be happier.
