100% avoid this place! Worst body shop I've ever encountered..... not only did they do terrible work on the repairs, they didn't fix half of it and blamed insurance. Talked to USAA and they read me notes from the body shop that argued against fixing the damage from the accident. They very much seemed like they just wanted to do the bare minimum and move on. Another body shop inspected the repair and stated it was terrible work using cheap replacement parts. They didn't even bother to clean the mud, rocks and grass out of my radiator. They also tore a speaker wire, ordered crimps off Amazon to fix it and when that didn't work they refused to pay the $100 repair invoice. -My hood is misaligned -scratches and paint chips on hood and sides not repaired at all -mud/grass in radiator -Exhaust and skid plate are chewed up -my dash rattles terribly near my hood latch -had to pay to repair the speaker wire they obviously damaged -false statements to my insurance read more

Our car was nearly totaled with only body damage, but they did perfect repairs and made it possible for us to keep our car---the dollar amount was just under the total value of the car. Brought my 2017 F150 Lariat into them after an altercation with a fire hydrant. It tore open the passenger side front and rear door. You could put your hand into the cab. After looking at it Nate explained what they would do, and gave me an approximate date of when it would be finished. When I got it back it looked like new. Also got it back ahead of time. My next adventure was with my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Seems that another driver on I-5 wanted in my lane. Well, a nice scrape on my passenger side front fender told the story. Brought it into Fix Auto Black Lake. Told Nate what happened. Again an approximate date of when it would be finished. Seems that the other driver's insurance company likes to use used parts. Nate wouldn't have any of it. The wheel was scraped up pretty good, and the insurance company wanted to use a used wheel. Well, that didn't happen. Seems that the insurance company has a habit of trying to get out of it cheaply and not doing the right thing. I got the new wheel. My Grand Cherokee looked fantastic. Before I explain my experience with the "new" fix auto, I do want to say that when this company was BLACK LAKE COLLISION, I loved this place. I was always certain that they were gonna take care of my car no matter what. I told all of my friends and family to go there for their collision repairs. So thank you to the former employees of black lake collision. I hope I find another place that treat me as good as you guys did. I give fix auto only one star because Kevin jr. Was the only person I had any sort of trust in. I brought my car in because my driver rear door that they've already repaired TWICE from the same accident was once again warping. My initial visit was with Nate and WOW if you want someone to not give a shit about your concerns, he's the guy for you. He goes out to look at my car and says "well I can't find records of you getting work here since it was before this was fix auto so you have to bring your car back when the manager is her cause he's the only one who can pull records from that time". I'm extremely busy and always working so no, I'm not going to inconvenience myself AGAIN when they should just make it right. So I left my car there for a week and a half almost for them to fix it. No one calls me to update me on anything with my car so I call on the day the manager was supposedly back from vacation (4 days later) to see if he found my records and where my car was at with repairs. Nate said "yes, your vehicle is getting repaired as week speak. But we did not find a copy of the original work." Long story short, I left my car there long cause Nate didn't want to just take care of me. AND my car is completely botched. The creases in my door aren't even creases anymore. It's still looks wavy, you can see how thick they put the paint on cause you can see the extra paint on the edge of the door, and they did a horrible clean up on the ONE door they "fixed". read more

Black Lake Collision is absolutely the greatest. They are honest and hardworking. I had issues with my insurance company communicating back, and they weren't able to work on it. But they kept calling the company to try to get things moving. Meanwhile they were communicating everything back to me. They were so patient while we dealt with the insurance. Best of all, when I got my car back, it looked brand new! They even detailed and cleaned out the inside of my car! Totally not expected and greatly appreciated.
