BEWARE!!! HOSTILE HUSBAND/WIFE ILLEGAL SCAM RING!!! NOT A REPUTABLE BUSINESS! WA state RCW states it's illegal to perform an unsafe & inproper windshield install as it introduces a safety hazard as it's considered part of the structural integrity of the vehicle in the event of a collision or roll over. We had them replace our windshield on our 99 Chevy Suburban 3/4/26. A rock had hit our windshield causing it to crack beyond repair, & we had told them there was a water leak by our rear view mirror. Upon picking up our car we noticed the windshield was no longer sitting flush & had nearly a 1/2 inch gap. And they left rust dust & dirt all over our dash, cd player, & gauges. They ensured us it was correct & if it leaked to bring it back as we have a lifetime warranty on the install. Within 1 hour of picking up our car it was leaking from the windshield in places it hadn't before due to the improper install. They told us to bring it back today at 10am & but we were only met with hostility. The male owner literally cussed my husband out refused to do the leak test threw our keys at my husband from across the room assaulting him, & told us to get out. My husband was calm the whole time. The female owner reluctantly stepped in & said she would do it while the male owner kept telling her not to. My husband asked if he could come back to watch her do the test & she angrily said no. So he watched her from the counter, while I watched her from parking lot as I had a direct view. She didn't even finish the leak test before she was slamming our car door into a ladder & it made us feel uncomfortable so my husband asked if he could have the keys back if she wasn't going to treat our vehicle with care. She started cussing him out telling us there's nothing wrong with their install & literally said, "if we didn't have a piece of shit car that's falling apart there wouldn't be an issue." She angrily came flying around the corner with our vehicle & got out cussing , yelling, & physically was up in my husband's face pointing fingers in his face, literally screaming at him. I walked over to try to calmly deescalate the situation & before I could even speak the male owner ran up to the door & locked us out. We had to call the police to assist & file a report. The officer even noted the gap was not appropriate. The owners REFUSED to let the officer watch the footage on their cameras, which he said people often do when they are in the wrong. They stole our money, giving us a bad install & refused to make it right, essentially voiding the lifetime guarentee they claim they have on all their work. When I booked it & asked if they guarantee their work Merle laughed & lied stating, "of course! We have a lifetime guarantee, the owner takes great pride in his work." They said everything they needed to to get our business but as soon as they had our vehicle they intentionally scammed us. They knew they did a bad install when they did the job & knew if they could say whatever they could to make us feel comfortable enough to pay & leave they wouldn't EVER have to make it right. We've already been told just based off of photos by 2 other local windshield repair businesses that their install is not only improper but an illegal install job requiring another windshield to be installed. We already scheduled an appointment to have their install inspected for documentation so we can file a complaint with the attorney general & a civil suit to get our money back since they refused to correct their improper install. DO NOT GIVE THESE THIEVES YOUR BUSINESS OR YOU RISK BEING SCAMMED AS WELL! Read the other reviews, ANYTIME they do something wrong the owners refuse to make it right, ripping people off seems to be his MO. We should have gone to LUCKY DOG in Kent, we hear they are the BEST, but this place was closer. BAD DECISION on our part. read more

My 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV has a unique Windshield that is glued in place as it is considered a structural element to the car. In addition, the trim is glued on as well. So you don't want just anyone doing this job. Because of the complexity, the two largest shops near me turned the job down. Thank goodness for Good Dog Auto Glass. It is run by two car enthusiasts which is exactly who you want working on your classic car! They told me it would take some time due to the level of effort, but they kept my car safe inside their facility. My truck was broken into, another smash and run without anything of value in the truck. Gets a bit old, when it can happen anywhere, at anytime. Luckily i jumped onto Yelp, checked out a few auto glass repair places ( and since it was Sunday late afternoon) waited for a few quick responses with quotes by 9, on Monday morning. Good Dog was one of the first to respond, had the best price, and was able to get me in, Monday afternoon. They say to please allow 2 hours, and they was busy and still had it done in an hour. That included a thorough vacuuming to get all the shattered glass ( not a professional break in, for sure) super courteous in the messages for quotes, over the phone, and in person. Quick professional service and a fair price too! Since the smash and run trend isn't going away, definitely keep these guys in mind when it happens. A Seattle specific phenomenon I've recently discovered is rocks flying everywhere. Driving on the freeway is like playing dodgeball with your windshield as the unsuspecting victim. 20 years is driving and I've had 2x more rock chips this year (it's April) than I've had in my entire life combined. I drive a Bronco and she is my baby, so I did the leg work to find a place that was reasonable, responsive, and above all did quality work. Good Dog Auto Glass is so far beyond what I could have hoped for. The owner is wicked responsive and just a genuinely great human being. He's honest and gave me a great rec for bodywork (and was straight with me about the work they've done rather than fluff up the place directly next door). As a woman, having someone not treat you like an idiot when it comes to cars is a rarity and I can't stress how much I appreciate the treatment I receive here. 25 out of 10. Windshield was cracked from a rock over the weekend. Emailed them for a quote. Got it back within 24 hours and had it schedule the next day. Louis was very helpful and friendly when I talked to him on the phone. I was allowed to drop off my car early even though my appointment was at 1PM. I got my car the very same day with everything done including calibration for lane assistance. I would hope I don't need to get my windshield replaced again but if I do I would be coming here! I came in to get a small chip fixed, even though I could not recall being hit by a rock recently. The shop was able to take in it in immediately and they told me that the repair would take maybe 30 minutes, and so I headed off to the nearby Fred Meyer. As it turned out, what I was seeing was a previous repair that for some reason I was only noticing now - maybe because I had cleaned my windows for the first time this summer after a long rainy winter and spring :). There was no fix needed and no charge, but I appreciated the time Louis took to examine the area and the knowledge he showed. Had this been a new chip, by the way, the repair cost would be have been probably 1/3 of what the big glass repair chain charged me for the earlier work. When the inevitable next rock chip does occur, I'll definitely come to this experienced, locally owned business. read more

My car was recently vandalized while parked in a trail head's parking lot. I scheduled an appointment to have it repaired at Good Dog Auto Glass, as they were one of two repair shops that were able to get me in the next day. I choose Good Dog because the owner, Luis, seemed knowledgable, friendly and his shop was in a convenient location. I spoke with owner twice following our initial conversation, who confirmed having the part on both occasions. Unfortunately, I received a call from one of the shop's staff 30-minutes after I dropped the car off telling me they couldn't complete the job as they didn't have the part. As the car was on loan from a friend I felt responsible and was concerned that something else might happen to it, particularly as it didn't have a window. I was upset at the mishap and expressed it to the owner who proceeded to push me out of the shop with his chest pressed up against my body in aggressive and abusive manner. I am a 68 year-old, 120 lb woman and doubt his response would have been the same had I been a man. I am writing the review based on the owner's behavior, not because of his error. read more

Good Dog came in tied for the lowest bid but although they didn't have mobile service like the other low bidder, they were Better Business Bureau Accredited which was the differentiator. I contacted them late on a Tuesday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for the next morning. The technician was quick and courteous and did a professional job. They really want to help you get what you need. That's in general. In my particular case, I can't thank them enough for the "extra" kindness in my situation. It was a Friday, my car was broken into, and the passenger window was shattered. They managed to help me THAT DAY, and there's no way I could have hoped for or expected that. Plus, in addition to doing a beautiful job replacing the window, they showed the added huge kindness of leaving the car looking better than it has since it was new.
