We had some huge cracks in our vehicle window and called around for quotes. A-Z was not only substantially cheaper, but they also come right to your house and do the work on site. They wound up with the wrong windshield, so they sealed off the vehicle for the night and came back with a new windshield a day later. They replaced it and it looks great! First, the work done was OK - that is, I have no complaints. HOWEVER, I was quoted $100 to $150 to replace a window that I had to provide. After I obtained the window, I let him know and set up an install time (between 1 & 4 PM) the following week. Later, I sent him my VIN # and asked for a copy of the work order. He did not provide a copy of the work order. Instead, he shows up and has the window installed in my driveway without letting me know that he arrived. When I asked him how much I owed, he said $200 plus tax. I then reminded him that he quoted $100 to $150, and he basically told me "whatever". I had bids from other installers, but I decided to use him because he installed another window for me in another vehicle which went as planned. I probably won't use him again, nor will I recommend his company because, while his work appears to be fine, his respect for his customers and his ethical standards appear to be questionable, at best. read more

I communicated with the company via yelp. Communication was slow.. I was clear on the days that would work. I even talked to someone on the phone to make sure I was scheduled for the correct date and time. The day and time come and no one come. I called about 20 minutes after the appointment time and left a message. 2 hours after the appointment time and still no call back and no one has showed up. I'm now getting this rock chip taken care of at Glass Works. As I am paying for the work I recieve a call back and send it to voicemail. The owner I assume left a message and apologized and stated a vehicle went down the day before and they had to put yesterday's appointments onto today and the schedule got screwed up. I appreciate the call back but a call the day before or even the day of would have been nice so I could have planned accordingly and not have wasted so much time out of my day. read more

A few weeks ago my wife had a huge chip in her window on her personally owned vehicle, sadly she was out of town and wanted it fixed as soon as possible. Tried to get a quote for my truck window this morning, called A-Z Mobile Glass since they were ranked #1 on YELP. I called twice but all I got was an answering machine so I waiting a while and tried again but again all I got was the answering machine, I left a message describing exactly what I need and left my name and number just like it asked me to do, I waiting the rest of the day and never received a call back. I called Tom a few months ago to replace three cracked windshields. He came to my location, had all three done in the same day, and handled all of the insurance paperwork. (My insurance company tried to automatically schedule me with Safelite, but they have some terrible reviews. I asked my insurance if I could use a different company and it was pretty simple after that). One of the vehicles was a classic car with some rust issues. Tom let me know before he pulled the cracked windshield that there was the potential for rust issues around the windshield, which could complicate the replacement. Luckily everything was fine, but I was impressed with his knowledge, honesty, and excellent communication. The windshield in my Chrysler (my daily driver) is absolutely perfect, no leaks or issues of any kind. The new windshield looks exactly like my old one- complete with the dark shading around the edges, he even put my oil change sticker back in place- but without the gigantic cracks. The other two windshields appear to be just as perfect. Those vehicles are driven by members of my family, and they have had no complaints at all. Tom was very nice, professional, and experienced. I love the warranty that comes with his windshield replacements. I also like the I am supporting a small business and keeping the money in our community. I called Tom to fix the cracked windshield in my Toyota Tacoma. He arrived the next day right on time. However, the glass he ordered was defective . . . had to be returned for a new windshield. This was not his fault. He apologized for the inconvenience and said he would return in a few hours with another windshield. Another however . . . the warehouse did not have another windshield in stock. Again, Tom apologized and explained that he would return the next afternoon. The following day, Tom showed up, installed the new windshield and promptly offered to reduce my cost by 50%. I called Tom rather late in the day, as I was home sick from work and it occurred to me that I might be able to get my windshield repaired while I rested my back that was out of whack. Tom was very accommodating and was able to schedule replacing my Prius windshield at my home later that afternoon. He was scheduled for 4:00 and called around that time to let me know he had picked up the windshield and was in route to my home. He expertly pulled his vehicle in to my tiny driveway and set up in the garage to work. It only took about 30-40 minutes for him to complete the job. I didn't pay too much attention to that, as I wasn't going anywhere. After he was done with the job, I signed the insurance paperwork. Tom had advised me just to call Geico and file the claim over the phone stating that I had chosen to work with A-Z. The whole process was very simple.
