I usually hate (haaaaaaate) taking my car in to get it looked at, and since I just moved back to the area I was especially dreading trying to find a new and decent garage. I got a recommendation for Fix it Fast from an acquaintance, and I'm SO GLAD I took her advice. I can't say enough how enjoyable (a word I never thought I'd use in the context of car repair) my experience was. Becky was exceptionally nice on the phone and in person. They were able to figure out the issue with my breaks and do the other upkeep things I needed quickly, and for much less than I was expecting to pay. I would definitely recommend Becky and Jesse to anyone in the area looking for a small, local auto shop that does exceptional work. read more

This is the first time I'm writing a review for a place even though I didn't actually have any repair work done yet! These are HONEST and caring people- possibly the most important qualities in an auto-body shop. We were referred here by a friend to deal with a possible transmission issue in a 4-year old Toyota. Needless to say, we were FREAKING OUT about the possible costs for the repair. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement!! Before we came in, they "ballparked" an estimate between a few hundred dollars to ~$2500 (worst case scenario). So, my husband dropped the car off and they gave him a ride to work. The mechanic took at look at the transmission, confirmed there was some play and that we needed a new torque converter. The new estimate was now ~$4100 (which nearly killed me!!) because of the extent of work that would be needed. BUT, the shop called over to Toyota and learned that the converter was actually covered under an expanded warranty that I knew NOTHING about (yea, thanks Toyota for not telling anyone about this...). Fix it Fast actually recommended that we take it there and deal with them to get this replacement part under warranty and any other work needed done. They even wrote a summary of their observations so we had it specifically to speak to the mechanics at Toyota about. And the cost for all of this work? ZERO DOLLARS!! I literally couldn't believe it. This shop took the time to speak to us on the phone (repeatedly), to drive my husband to and from work so we could leave the car, to do the assessment of the repairs needed and write it up and charged us nothing. I often find myself telling people that customer service means more to me than most things and this place absolutely demonstrated how excellent customer care makes loyal clients. I will be back for all of my future car needs without a doubt and will be telling everyone I know that there's honest and reputable people here. Thank you!! read more

Becky and Jesse are amazing. I brought my 2011 BMW 335i in for service and they went above and beyond to make it a seamless experience. They always stayed in contact, answering calls/emails almost immediately. If you're in need of quick service and fair prices, you need to check them out. read more

I've lived in this area for about 2 years now and have had experiences with 4 or 5 different automotive establishments. Finding the right mechanic is like finding the right doctor. It takes a lot of trust. The first thing you realize when you meet Jessie and Becky is that they are not out to take advantage of you, and that's something a person really doesn't expect from a mechanic in this day and age. Both are very well informed and will tell you exactly what's wrong without any smoke and mirrors. I always feel like I'm going to friend's when I take my truck in to be serviced. Their pricing is reasonable and the work is of the highest quality. If you're looking for a "No B.S. mechanic" then this is your place! read more

There's a reason these guys are 5/5 stars on both Google and Yelp. I've been familiar with them for years now and you'll always get an honest assessment of your situation. Whether years back with my older car, they checked it out, gave me a ballpark and honestly told me the car probably wasn't worth the expense. Then they didn't charge me for the inspection. Recently they've been extremely helpful with sourcing a replacement rim for one I banged up on a curb. The price was better than any salvage yard I could find it at and they even threw on a used tire with a lot of life on it for extremely cheap. Just had an inspection there and for the first time in my life a shop called to say "it's done" without first trying to scare up several hundred dollars of work that didn't need to be done. When I returned to report the problem to Kevin Otto he acted like all his people were innocent. There was something about that encounter that left me feeling violated. $1,100 tire stems gone, stolen from my tires. I wouldn't trust them with changing a tire on a tricycle.

After having problems with the explanation, he finally just said, "The brakes were put on wrong". First, the brakes had been on the truck for over a year with no problems. I have recently moved into Media, Pa. was looking for an auto repair shop that I could walk to and from in the event I need repairs done. I look at several shops in the area and finally came a crossed Becky and Jesse and they are INCREDIBLE. I left my 2001 Nissan Maxima with them to see what needed to be done to get it in tip top shape for the winter weather ( I knew I had some issues). Becky called me later in the day and gave me a very detailed listing of what needed to be done and the timing of when everything should be done. Fix it Fast delievered me fast and dependable service. I have a brand new 11' Mustang and had a nail in the tire. I was extremely upset and unsure what to do. Get a new tire? Get it plugged? Get it patched? Jesse took extremely good care of me and fixed my tire. Jesse explained everything I would need to know about the plug and I have had no issues.
