Within a week of purchasing my Jeep i noticed steering issues and when i took it back i wash charged for repairs of existing issues that were there prior to purchase. On another visit, i brought my car in because it was cutting of on me and giving a false message of overheating. I was charged a diagnostic fee and told they could not find an issue and sure enough the next day my car died. It was the battery the whole time and they admitted they never checked my battery. They refused me a refund and Bill laughed at my frustation. After three visits, I was repeatedly given uncertain explanations with no clear answers. This dealership is a scam, they lack accountability, thorough diagnostics, and customer care. I strongly recommend you go anywhere else.

Working a 6/10 schedule and only having Sundays off isn't conducive to getting work down on your car. But I called peak performance and talked to Vince. We scheduled the appointment ahead a few days and I was able to get my car in. Their technicians knocked out the short laundry list of stuff on my car quickly and at a good price. I didn't lose my transportation for more than a couple hours and they even told me about a future problem they'd be happy to take care of another day. It's always a gamble on the road finding a good reputable shop with good customer service and quality techs. Peak performance is one of those good shops.

I arrived as the place opened (730am) and was told that the inspection does take 30 minutes, however, I couldnt wait for the car, those appointments were not available, drop it off, it'll be done by 4pm. No reason given, no "sorry a guy called out sick", nothing. Absolutely insane way to run a business. No chance Im ever going back.

OUTSTANDING!!! I have a 2003 Jeep TJ with a 5-speed manual transmission. After hearing some…read morenoises, something broke and my drive train locked up. I figured I broke something in the transmission (judging from past experience with a different vehicle). Most transmission shops in the area refuse to touch a manual transmission. I went to see Mark at Cottman Transmission in New Castle. He showed no hesitation whatsoever. After we talked, he immediately dispatched a tow truck, at no charge, to pick up my vehicle (on a busy Friday) and had my Jeep in his shop within the hour. On Monday, he had determined that the problem was broken gears in the rear differential, and NOT in my transmission. This was good news! He gave me a very fair estimate, and I picked up my fully repaired Jeep on Wednesday after paying a few dollars UNDER the original estimate. In addition, he had checked out the rest of the drive train to ensure everything was in good shape. Overall, the service from Cottman Transmission in New Castle was excellent, and Mark was extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and very responsive. Honest, reliable, and eager to serve a first time customer, I wouldn't hesitate to come back, and I highly recommend this shop. Lastly, I have a 1979 Jeep CJ-5 with a Chevy 350 in need of a new transmission, and I look forward to working with Mark to get it back on the road for the spring Jeep season!

Dealer quoted OEM part at $860 and Shilling was $1580 for non OEM. When asked about the discrepancy, I got a "nothing we can do". Also was told that garage couldn't install a customer supplied part because they couldn't guarantee it...whatever that means. On bill I was charged $7 for "Hazardous Waste Disposal" even when there was no hazardous waste involved. When challenged on that, charge was removed. Everyone was polite and friendly but I just don't understand the insane markup on the price of the part. Took the car to the dealership bc estimate was $500 less!
