I'm literally writing this just as my estimate appointment's time was, with my issue already fixed in literally 15 minutes :) I saw the great reviews and wanted to call a local plumber to see what was going on with my garbage disposal. I hit the reset button underneath myself, which usually can get it if it's stuck. However, that didn't work and when you hit power, it just barely hummed, like it wasn't even trying to move. I assumed it was broken. I got estimates from other plumbers ranging from $350-$500 to replace it. I called these guys late on Friday and they still got me in on Saturday morning, 10a-11a window for an estimate, which was awesome with last second notice and on a weekend. Phil came out, great guy, great attitude, more than most grump a## plumbers we've had over the years. Small thing, which was cool is that he put covers on his shoes... usually not a big deal to most people but we don't wear shoes in the house and it's usually an awkward, "Hey, sorry... do you mind if..." conversation. So that was cool. Also, he was 15 minutes early, which is great because then you can get it taken care and get the weekend started. Anyway! Now to the great part yet. He checked it and didn't immediately go, "Yeah, you need a new one, that'll be $400 and we'll come back sometime next week." I told him we had it replaced like five years ago and he was like, "Yeah, it shouldn't be broken, let's see what's going on." I don't wanna give away his secrets but he tested it out then got some tools and fixed it on the spot. He was saying to not worry about it since it was an easy fix for him (and I'm glad he didn't make me feel stupid for not being able to fix it on my own, which a lot of plumbers do). Most places with Yelp estimates were coming in around $400, some $500, some $350. I was expecting to use a credit card to cover a new disposal if they had the part but most places were saying it would be a couple days, having to know what size of disposal to replace. I was expecting to use my credit card but he said no worries and I forced a tip on him. Super happy for sure, got it working for a fraction of what I was expecting. read more

Armando was very helpful on the phone. Called them first thing Monday morning since our water heater was leaking. He was able to let me know the cost over the phone and how much it would cost to fully replace my water heater with a new one. It was very reasonable and it also included them taking out our old water heater. So I called them at 8am, and by 10am Alberto came over and he was very knowledgable and friendly and took a couple hours to do everything. I had installed the Flume Monitor and leak detector and was immediately notified of a leak in my property. i called Fix It Quick and they came the next day and found the leak within minutes. the repair was involved as my pressure regulator and manifold needed some much needed work but these guys were super prompt and finished the job in half a day. since they were already at the address i had also decided to get the tankless water heaters serviced and they came by the next day to finish that. the administrative side of things was just as smooth with the scheduling, payments and invoicing with roseanne. all in all a great experience for something that caused me a few sleepless nights of worry and potentially a big water bill next month. read more
