He's a friendly guy, easy to talk to, answered all my question. I had called an other larger company, but had an uneasy feeling when my call went through a call centre, and the price seemed high. Mikes prices are fair, and he answers his calls. To sum it up, he offered prompt courteous service. It's nice to get someone local. They meant the Induction top board not the ubiquitous control board. As a result our Induction top/ stove is no longer reparable and is basically junkable! So we are looking to replace a 3 yo stove! His parting comment was thar he expected a positive review of the service. Universal Appliance was totally disinterested in my experience. 5.30am was dark (it was Winter), obviously, I was still in bed, clearly not expecting a delivery. I struggled to lift the appliance and had to ask a neighbour for help. Universal Appliance had said that instillation was covered by the additional cost but were dismissive of my experience. The experience was, quite frankly both disturbing and threatening. I have bought an Aga stove and the Sharp multi function microwave from this company. I will never patronize them again.

Whereas the outlet store said the part would be on order for months, the repairman from ORR fixed a small leak the day after I called on his first and only visit. They saved us hundreds of dollars and the feeling of wastefulness that comes from replacing an appliance that is practically new. The man was friendly when he visited, transparent about the cost and what he was doing, and honest about the likelihood that it might happen again. Even if the fridge broke every two years I would rather support these guys than buy a new one every five. And it would probably be cheaper.

I called and spoke to a gentleman who listened to my issue and told me very nicely that I need to go to a warranty authorized shop for that make, as the code I was seeing was proprietary and he didn't have the info. He was nice about, and he was professional. I've bookmarked their site, for future reference. I appreciate the info they provide to the consumer and I appreciate his honesty in pointing me to a better resource! Terrible customer service. They had to order part for our stove. The guy (same guy who ordered…read morepart) came to replace the part. He pulled out the stove put the part in then moved the stove back only to realize it was the wrong part (part number is on box and he ordered, he should have known it was wrong part before replacing). When he pulled out the stove the 2nd time to remove the part he did not use the sliders and now I have gouges and scratches in the floor. The manager I spoke to was not very nice and was trying to get me off the phone. He said he would look into it and call back (did not call back). The next day we get a call from the parts department saying they cannot order the part and will not do the repair. I now have to waste time fighting to get my floors repaired.
