I had a small scratch on my Honda Civic 2017 rear bumper, so I started looking around Yelp for businesses who had decent reviews. Color Creation was just around the corner from where I live, so I messaged them. Rhod replied back right away and was very professional. He offered to come in person and inspect the car to give me an estimate the next day. The following day Rhod showed up at the time we agreed and gave me the estimate, told me how long it would take and we agreed to do it the next day. First, we need to know what is "mobile bumper repair". Usually, they paints/restores in outdoors, outdoor dust will get on the paint sometimes and leave small fish eyes. I think Rhod did a great job based on the circumstances. I backed into something in the driveway and really did a number on my bumper. I was hesitant to get it fixed and really just wanted to get it replaced, but since it had already been repainted once I figured I would give the mobile repair a try. Rhod was able to sand, fill and shape it really well considering the areas the damage was in. He taped off the rest of the body and covered the wheel did a nice job matching the paint. I would just caution that there are inherent limitations to what mobile painting can accomplish. If you are expecting absolute perfection or a show quality finish, you'll need to pay up for it. This is NOT a reflection on Rhod or the work that he did, but more of an FYI. read more

Called CC and spoke with Rhod. Very friendly and professional. We scheduled an appointment for one of his techs to come to my home. Work to be performed was to fill the front license plate hole in the bumper of my new car. Appointment was 7am (I know right? but great to not take up the middle of my day) tech was on time. I asked if he wanted to do the work in my garage but he said he had to do it outside. Job took under 2 hours. Have to say the color match was perfect but right now I'm waiting for the paint to dry to see how it all works out. There are a lot of random airborne deposits stuck in the paint right now (since it was done outside). Also he over sanded the bumper so there are parts that are dull which he said will "wipe off." Dullness like that does not "wipe off." I used to own a show car and still have more than $800 in detailing supplies and equipment. Luckily I have stuff for that at my house but most people wouldn't. I will probably have to wet sand and buff out the parts that are dull. I'm hoping there isn't overspray on the car either. Did he fill the holes flush? Yes Does the paint color match? Yes Was the paint laid well? We'll see as it dries but right now no. Quality of workmanship? Meh I will update review later once paint has dried and settled. Edit: So just realized my hood is covered in sanded down paint and plastic particles. Spent the last 2 hours trying to get the stuff off my hood. Used clay, different polishes and my Porter Cable buffer. Most of it is now gone but I'm lucky that I have these things at home. For someone who doesn't you would be stuck. Basically my hood felt like sandpaper with all that stuff embedded in it. I was going to drop the rating to 2 starts but decided not to. Visually the job from a few steps back looks good. But if you are someone who actually cares about their car and it's maintenance I would be very careful when the tech comes. read more

From my initial email correspondence to the finished product, I was treated with respect, professionalism, and excellent customer service. I scratched my bumper 2 nights ago, and searched online for quotes. I did an email blast and got a bunch of quotes from multiple people. Rhod was timely with his emails and he was one of the first people to get a quote back to me. The price was excellent and reasonable, in fact, the paint of my car is a tricolor paint which involves multiple coats since it's a pearl type color. Rhod didn't increase the price of my original estimate once it was known that my paint involved more labor and I definitely appreciate that. I just took over a new 2013 BMW lease, as the previous owner had to go abroad very quickly. There were a some scuffs/paint scratches in the front bumper, probably about 4 in total ranging from dime to quarter size (looks like something hit the car like a shopping cart). There were some other mobile bumper repair services around here (San Bernardino), but none of them had the history and reviews like fixmybumper.com. So I emailed Rhod and he responded immediately with a call and email. Scheduled the service to be done the next morning. One of his techs Pete came out all the way to San Bernardino, arrived early, took care of my car in the parking lot at work, finished in 1 hour. Called Color Creation on a Tuesday, and by 9:15 am on Wednesday, the car looked like it had never been hit. You can go to their location, or they can come to you in a repair van. They handle repaints and small blemishes (both of which my wife's car had). The tech got to our apartment by 8am and was finished a little over an hour later, right inside our garage. Obviously, the paint was still wet (so you don't want to drive the car around or touch the paint for at least an hour after the work's done), but the job was very professional.
