However upon arriving I was sent home immediately saying I this cannot be done because they don't have a mechanic on site. Anyone who's priced body work in OC lately knows the number they quote you and the number you expect are two different things. Prices are up everywhere. That's why I'm writing this one. Tint Crew in Buena Park sent me to Carmona's off Williamson, right by downtown Fullerton. I had a scuff on my front bumper and I was only there for a quote, planning to call three or four more shops between here and Placentia. Sergio wrote up the estimate, then walked out and actually looked at the bumper. Told me the simplest route would take care of it and did it right there at a special rate. No full respray I didn't need, no insurance claim, no leaving the car for three days and figuring out a ride home. I didn't make the other calls. Didn't need to. About two weeks after my repair was completed, I took my car to get detailed and noticed spots on my taillight that wouldn't come off (please see photo). The detailer told me this is due to overspray from the repair. I will be calling on Monday to see if the shop can fix the issue. If I could do 0 stars I would. I called a day ahead to confirm I could tow my car here for a repair estimate. Everything fine and dandy on the phone. I had to call AAA to get the tow and wanted to make sure I got to Carmona's by 8am as I understand they close early on Saturday. We pulled up to the shop maybe by 7:30am. Tow truck guy was cool with waiting, he knew the shop opened at 8am, so did I. Cool. A worker was outside of the shop on the phone and told us (on his own btw) his boss would be here soon, cool. Didn't request any special treatment nor did we ever ask if he could let us in early. Now, tell me WHY the owner pulls up like 15 mins later around 7:45am and LITERALLY cusses out the worker, going off about "I don't give a f***, doesn't matter, WE OPEN AT 8" and when I tell you he MADE SURE he was loud enough for us to hear him. Cussing like crazy bro. Mind you, we NEVER ASKED TO BE LET IN EARLY. It was so uncalled for, so immature. Grown man btw. Extremely rude and so unbelievably unprofessional. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I lost all faith in leaving my car there and took my business elsewhere. read more

I was devastated because I really love my car and didn't want to be without it. However, they finished my car within 2-3 business days and it looked better than before once returned to me! They even took out some small scratches on it (that weren't apart of the accident) at no cost! They also completely washed my car! I was so happy with the results. They took such good care of my car for a good price. I didn't feel taken advantage of here, and would highly recommend it. A bit late but we took my old Honda odyssey in when the automatic door jammed. They were so kind in looking things over, tried to fix it right away by getting the door back on the track, but then identified the piece that was broken. Unfortunately found myself here after getting some deep passenger door scrapes from underestimating spacing in my new garage. I reached out via Yelp first and chatted with Cesar, who told me to swing by so they could make an in-person assessment and give me an accurate quote. After getting a quote, I visited several other places before ending up back here since it was closest to my house, employees were friendly and seemed honest, and they were willing to work with me on price. I dropped off my car around 10am on a Wednesday and picked it back up around 4pm on Friday, which I'd say is good timing and I'm glad it wasn't in the shop into the weekend. Since I live 0.5 miles away, I appreciated that they were also able to give me a ride back and forth. When I picked up the car, I checked the scraped area and wasn't able to notice any paint that was off. Think they blended well and did a good job! They also guarantee their paint job with a warranty, so if the paint did start getting messed up, I could always take it back here to get fixed. I also had some bumper paint damage that I asked about getting fixed but ultimately decided not to. After I got the car back, I noticed that they painted over some of the bumper spots free of charge! Overall, I was satisfied with this shop and hope to never find myself in this position again but if I was, I know where to go. read more

Overall, VERY satisfied with this shop. I don't have too much experience with body shops or insurance so I feel like I was taken care of. Sergio seemed pretty honest and generally is looking out for the best deal for you. He's very patient as well. Upon car drop off, I was also given a complimentary shuttle a few miles home so thank you so much for that. That being said, my minor scratches and dents came out 97% perfect which I think is expected(?). It would have been nice if he went over why it wasn't 100% but i can see small wrinkles and loose body lines if I look reaaaaaally closely. It could be my inexperience but I'm not sure if it's normal that it's not 100%. Anyways, needle in a hay stack and you wouldn't notice it unless I pointed it out to you up close. I went in on to get an estimate for my car and was helped my Adrian. Adrian was very professional and kind. He casually mentioned he use to work for Toyota. I have Toyota RAV4 prime. He looked at the damage and briefly explained what he would need to do. He also expressed to me that he will try to save as much parts as he can so I would not have to pay for new parts. His explanation to everything was very educational and I understood the process. They had my car for 1 week and the total amount to $1622.42. There was a fee to use a credit card. I didn't want to bike to them with a large amount of cash in my pocket so I just paid with my credit card. Haha. When I got my car returned, Adrian washed my car! It was clean from the inside and out. The tires were also shiny. I didn't expect a car wash. So I thought was pretty cool of them to do that. I looked at my car where the damage was and I was surprised how it looked. The color matched my car, it was smooth to the touch and look, and it didn't look like anything happened! I'm really happy about it. Overall, Adrian's service to me was awesome. He never asked me to do a Yelp review. I would definitely recommend taking your car in for repair here. Came to Carmona's for the third time after someone backed into my car and caused a small dent on the right-side doors. The car was repaired and ready almost a week faster than the estimated time frame. Sergio also told me they covered the cost new plastic panels that go at the bottom of the car doors on the outside instead of waiting for another supplemental from insurance even though they had it priced for after-market parts. Great service once again and the extra car wash truly made the vehicle look like new when we got it back. Hopefully I stop getting in accidents and having to get the car repaired but will always come back to Carmona's when needed. read more

I found this place through Yelp, and I thought I should share my experience, too. I left my vehicle with them for 2 weeks. My vehicle was hit while parked on the front right. During that time, they always updated me on what I wanted to know. They also reassured me that they were certified to work on Hondas and that they'll do what it takes to fix everything. However, when I picked up my vehicle. I noticed the headlight was not the same. When I asked them about it, I was told later that I should reach out to the dealer because my original headlight (the side they didn't replace) was apparently defective. I told them that this was how it came with from the factory since I purchased the vehicle new from the dealer. Also, I asked them to just google how it looked online, and they told me they'll confirm it again. Later, I was told the place they ordered it from was supposed to confirm the correct headlight with my vin. I know they have to work with my insurance on the budget and parts, but this should've been checked on their end, too. I also notice a creaking noise now whenever I turn my wheel to the right while it's not moving. So I'm not sure if something is rubbing or if they bend something. This was not an issue when I left the vehicle. The last issue I have is somehow they gave me my vehicle back dirtier than when I left it? You can see both the engine bay and exterior has leftover debris. I'm not sure if a sandstorm rolls by, but it's not a big issue if it comes off. I just wanted to remind everyone to double-check everything because you know your vehicle more than the shop. Summary: I took one star off for the wrong headlight. Another star off for the dirt and creaking noise that appeared after I picked it up. Update 1: Another star off because I found missing clips, and now my windshield washer isn't working. All the fluids are leaking under the vehicle. Update 2: They changed out the headlight, fixed the windshield washer issue, and added the missing clips. However, the creaking noise is still there when I turn right. Now, there's also a noticeable gap between the quarter panel and the fender flare. Side note, they claimed more money from my insurance without informing me. This wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact that they claimed the money for the wrong headlight and 2nd installation. Which was their fault due to buying the headlight from their own supplier without verifying. Also, all of these problems were always inspected and initiated by me. They were ready to just give me back my vehicle in condition it was in, had I not told them the issues. Ratings (2 out of 5): 1 star off due to dishonest practice -they claimed 3 times the original estimate cost but still managed to use bad parts and blame others for faults 1 star off due to bad installation -they messed up my windshied washer, created gaps (even on oem fender flare that wasn't replaced), and had missing clips 1 star off due to incompetent repair (not very honda certified) -they still didn't fix the creaking noise that exist after the repair. The quarter panel they replaced is still pushed into the vehicle (in the same position as the panel that was pushed in after the collison). Large gaps still exist, and all they're doing is asking for more money in order to "fix" what was already supposed to be fixed with the original estimates. Thanks. read more
