I purchased a new phone close to a year ago and was under the impression that this phone would receive the same discounted service. I called to bring phone in for repair and was informed that i have been paying for a service for one year for a phone that i no longer use. I feel like they should honor the discounted repair for the phone i purchased a yeAr ago since all it involves to have the new phone insured under the same plan is to let them know i have a new phone. I can proof that i purchased this phone and have used this phone since May of last year. It isn't like i am asking for something that i haven't paid for. I have paid their annual 70 fee or whatever the fee is. Bottom line is they should honor repairing my current phone or refund the discount plan fee since it is useless for me. The approval for the repairs was given. Within less than 72 hours I was notified that the computer was repaired and ready for pickup. Before leaving ComputerTech I was shown that a basically dead computer was now super fast. My experience with repair shop has been very unsatisfying. I initially traded in a laptop for…read moreanother from the shop. The following day, I had to return it because it was defective and unfixable. So, the owner gave me another laptop to replace that one. It is now 6 months later after getting it, I had to return that. He says that it needed more memory because he's the expert I followed his advise and paid additional money. Then upon calling him to get an update, he states that it might be a hard drive issue. I didn't get the laptop back same day as promised. Then he explains that it's a driver issue the updates from HP are not compatible with the laptop. He was unable to tell me year and model of the laptop. However, he says he has a fix for it. I pick up the laptop and the graphics are horrible and look very outdated. This has been most inconvenient as I work from home. I have essentially lost 2+ work days and have an outdated computer. Unacceptable!
