Horrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the company that Lowes warranty company used. Our first call was just for the washer machine seal. When they came out they broke a piece and we had to wait a week for the part to arrive. 2nd Call. My washer machine started making a loud noise on the spin cycle. We emailed a video for reference and had to make another appt. He came out on 6/23/26 and broke another piece. (Screw) 3rd appt. He broke another part of the washer machine and now we have to wait another 1 week for him to come out again. They keep sending the same guy out that don't know what he's doing. Ok, so first of all, they almost never pick up their phone. Every single communication to schedule tech coming out, see if new parts arrived and any updates were initiated by me. Not once have they called me. Again, they almost never pick up the phone, just to get an update you have to call 10-15 times. Secondly, after 3 trips they have yet to repair my appliance, first they needed parts, when they got the tech spent 3 hours here but to conclude that he wasn't given all the parts that he needed. Called and the phone rang many times but no opportunity to leave a voicemail. Received text yesterday that looked like spam saying could I confirm my appointment for 3pm to 7pm. I replied, no I'm not home at that time, my appointment is for 10 am to 12 pm. No reply text received. Finally thought it was strange for a Brooklyn company to be coming all the way out to Suffolk County. Our freezer stopped working but the refrigerator was fine. Assurant sent Fixity to "fix" it. They put the new freezer compressor they ordered onto the refrigerator side by mistake and by doing that they broke ALL of the refrigerator pipes and parts. Therefore, not only did they not fix the freezer, but they BROKE the refrigerator! They destroyed the refrigerator unit and in order to fix it, it needs to be entirely rebuilt costing approximately $7,000 and we still need a new compressor for the freezer. STAY AWAY - UNSAFE AND TERRIBLE. have a claim with square trade/allstate on our stove. Appointment was made for 10-12. Day before, get a text saying appointment is now 1-5pm. Very rude to my wife, on the phone with his boss entire time as he had no idea what he was doing. Never looked at parts sent. Then tells my wife that it is normal for bright orange flames on all 5 burners no matter if low of high. Then corrects himself and says our propane tank is too low or must have just been filled. Repair man arrived at 7 pm to replace knob on my stove top. He took the knob and said I had to wait a week for replacement. The next day I cook not turn the burner off. I called Fixity and they told me to call the emergency fire department. The gas company could not turn the burner off. He had to shut off all gas to my stove and cited it a violation. We had a problem with the door from a Viking side by side refrigerator. It was covered with Service Protection Advantage. There were numerous service calls from the repairman but they were unable to fix the door, claiming it was normal wear and tear. This was not the case since there was a broken hinge that the repairman could not get to. The insurance company did not make good on the contract of replacing an appliance if it could not be repaired and Fixity would not certify that the problem was from a broken part. What a waste of my fucking time. If I could leave a negative star I would. Appliance bought through Home Depot. Extended warranty purchased through Home Depot. And after all that, we landed with this dumbass company and here we are. I had an issue with a brand new Electrolux washer and dryer tower 6 months ago. Electrolux came because it was under manufacturers warranty. fixed it and moved on. Then 6.25 months later as would always happened with new electronics it was now out of the manufactures warranty and my extended plan kicked in. Same issue. but this time the tech from fixity showed up. he was 10 hours late, couldn't understand MY English and told me he couldn't fix my machine and proceeded to leave because it was "late" Called on a Saturday night for repair, parts were delivered Monday morning, waited until Thursday at 5:30pm and here I am yet going onto another week, let alone on a holiday weekend without a washer and dryer. Try telling that to my wife and 4 kids who haven't been able to wash their clothes or bed sheets, that their gymnastics, soccer, tennis and theatre outfits allong with their dirty socks and underwear will have to wait another fucking week. My two-year old dishwasher purchased from Lowe's recently began to make a loud, periodic, and rhythmic thumping sound during a cleaning run. I had purchased a five-year, no-extra cost protection plan with the dishwasher and therefore called Lowe's to initiate a repair claim. This was handled promptly and Edik from Fixity Appliance Repair showed up a few days later and diagnosed a wobbly upper spray arm. Within a week, three new spray arms (one for each level of the dishwasher) were ordered and obtained and a few days later Edik returned to replace the ones that originally came with the dishwasher. Problem solved!! The dishwasher now runs so quietly that I struggle to hear it operating!! I owned a GE dryer for 30 years with almost no problems. So I bought another GE dryer from Lowes about six months ago. Unlike the old one, which served us well, this one stopped working. GE was quick to respond to set this up as free warranty repair, but scheduling repairs was tortuous with Fixity Appliance Repair. They are slow to respond and eventually came after about a week. Their headquarters is about 100 miles away in Brooklyn, NY. Why they should be used by Lowes and GE, when I am near the major city of Philadelphia, is beyond me. The technician came did not have the part. I had described the problem accurately -- ultimately a broken igniter -- a common problem, it seems like a part that should have been on the truck. After 5 mins the tech announced he had to order parts. That necessitated a week to get the part. Then two repairs were rescheduled before the third was kept. Due to afternoon times and because of the reschedules, I missed about 3 days of work. Finally, I have the failed part that was removed. It has a lot of rust accumulated. I am giving this two stars, because all of the problems may not have been caused by Fixity -- GE and Lowes deserve some blame for keeping their contracts with such a poorly rated company. read more

Awful experience, do NOT trust Fixity Repair. For starters, they pressured us into paying for an overpriced repair, and the so-called technician didn't actually fix anything; he just cleaned the spray arm in the dishwasher. Then, while "testing" it, he somehow made it worse. It wasn't leaking before, but after he messed with it, water started pouring out. We kicked him out immediately before he damaged our dishwasher further. To make matters worse, they refused to refund us the full amount, even though they left us with a damaged appliance. Received a confirmation email and later an email at 9:21 AM telling me to contact Fixity Appliance Repair. Called Fixity right after receiving the email and several rings later got a voice message telling me they could not take my call. I immediately got on the phone with Lowes and cancelled the service call with Fixity Appliance and scheduled with another service repair company. read more

My washer broke down and my extended warranty company arranged with Fixity to repair it. Six weeks later and after 8 visits by Fixity the washer has been deemed unrepairable. The fact is that the final damage was made by a Fixity technician who with much difficulty and after heavy hammering managed to replace a part, but left the washer in worse condition than what we started with. Not only that, he forgot to reconnect the washer's drainage hose which meant that I also ended up with a flooded room! As I said, six weeks later and I have an unusable machine. LG says that they are awaiting the final report from Fixity stating that the machine is unrepairable, but more than a week has passed and LG says that Fixity has not sent report despite calls from me and from LG. Awful service that I will make sure I never use again. Btw, same goes for LG extended service; after all LG is the one that is ultimately responsible to me. read more

I contacted Sears for service on my refrigerator, apparently Sears outsources appliance repair service to Fixity. I placed a call at the end of October first week of November and we finally had it fixed just before Christmas. Four parts (compressor, evaporator, heater element and a sensor) later it's finally working. The most frustrating part was calling them and never getting to speak to a person, I always had to leave a voicemail message. Then they called back whenever they got around to it. Appointments were canceled and rescheduled on a whim. It took a total of four or five trips to my house to get my refrigerator fixed. Thankfully all we had to pay was the $100 deductible. read more

Was supposed to come and did not show up - authorized repair center for Best Buy - Unprofessional and a waste of my day.

DO NOT USE FIXITY!!! They replaced the condenser in my broken LG refrigerator under warranty as part of their arrangement with LG. The cooling was widely variable with the freezer going between 10-20 degrees. They came back and diagnosed that a different part had failed and needed to order it. 2 days later they said the part had arrived and scheduled an appointment to install it. When a different person arrived to do that, he took the temperature of the freezer and said it was fine--temps between 10-20 were fine because "a freezer is working if you have ice" and left without doing anything. When I called the company to complain--saying that the FDA recommends a freezer be at 0 degrees for safety--she agreed and sent someone back the next day to install the part. When he came, it was the same guy, he did not bring the part, he checked the temp and again said as long as there is ice your freezer is working. I showed him the container of ice cream that was soft and he just shrugged. We got into a tense argument about how both Fixity and LG confirmed freezers are supposed to be 0 degrees, he said you have no idea about how freezers work, and stormed out the door. Then I had to call LG to report all this, they investigated and said they will have to stop referring to Fixity, and now I'm scheduled with another company who I hope will be able to fix the problem. Zero stars: GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. sent their agent, Fixity, to reconnect my GE Hotpoint dishwasher to the water after GE's first repairman disconnected it. The first was scheduled to return but never showed up. GE's second agent/repairman arrived at the last minute after a four hour wait. Then he said he was not allowed to work on plumbing without a plumbing license, therefore he would not repair it either. GE/Fixity should not be scheduling or doing repairs on anything where a license is needed. GE should not be sending BBB un-accredited agents with a BBB rating of F. Fraud. Don't allow GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. to continue their ruse of sending unqualified and ignorant people into your home. read more

On July 30, 2024 a technician (Anthony) came to my home to diagnose the problem with my LG Refrigerator. He told me he needed to order the parts and it would take about one week. When I called Fixity one week later I could not get through on the phone, After waiting 9 minutes the phone would ring and no would pick up. Then I decided to send an email still no response. I finally called my warranty provider and they called Fixity to see what was the problem. They claim that the parts they ordered were the wrong parts. Finally on Aug 20, 2024 the technician (Anthony) who was very nice and pleasant installed the parts in 10 minutes. I'm a little disappointed with Fixity customer service department communication. I call AllState- They do not answer their calls. I spoke to Diana the manager, who had to reschedule me once they failed to honor the first appointment and promised that I was first appointment 8-9AM- NO SHOW! If I could give 0 stars i would. Called in a repair for an LG air conditioner that I only had for a week. Called LG and they told me they would send the call to one of the repair services in my area. I live in the Philadelphia area. I'm assuming Fixity services the Philadelphia area as well as NY since they are based in NY. I called LG on a Monday and they told me someone would call be from Fixity to confirm an appointment set for Friday. They never told me what time they were coming, but that someone from Fixity would call me to set up a time. LG also told me I could call Fixity directly. I called several times during the week to verify if they would be coming out on Friday and to find out what time they were coming. I finally got a call back on Thursday telling me that someone would be out between 10am-2pm on Friday. I stayed home all day and had to leave a 4:30. I got back home around 6:15 and they left a sticker on my railing that said "Sorry we Missed You. Please call back to reschedule." I waited a week for them to come, never got a call to confirm until the day before which did nothing; you can't speak to anyone there, you just get a vm every time. Please, beware of this service. I'm not sure what the issue is, but the fact that they can't even have someone call you and tell you they are either still coming, running late, or even texting you to give you a status is really just unacceptable. It was a red flag when you just get a vm and no answer to a company business. Update 6.14.24 Fixity called me back the next day to send someone out the following day. I wanted to give them another chance as my first experience was not good. They gave me a time between 3:00-6:00, and the repair tech came around 5:30. He checked the plugs, tested the outlet and was able to get the unit running. My one star has increased to three as I appreciate they were able to get someone out the next day. I do still feel like communication is not up to par, but glad they were able to get someone back out the next day. read more
