They came out quick. They are honest and high integrity. They did not stick me with an unnecessary repair. It turned out that my lightbulbs were just out. Jiggling the panel turned them back on. I thought I had bigger problem. I've definitely encountered repair people who would have been dishonest and told me I had to replace the whole control board or something. These guys did not. Alex came out to repair my subzero freezer today. What an absolute gem! He knew exactly what was wrong when he heard the noise that the freezer was making, had the part available, and was able to fix it immediately. He brought his own shoe covers and put them on without that awkward moment where you have to ask someone to put on shoe coverings. He also vacuumed before and after installation. I decided to give them a try and they were able to send a guy, Alex, to look at the stove on the day I wanted. He was able to quickly assess what was wrong and was able to order the part promptly. The part also arrived at the time he specified and things were fixed in under an hour today! Alex also offered to clean up some debris behind the stove for me. Amazing service! I had received a quote from another repair company for $962 (replacement ice maker part and 30mins labor ). I know it's NYC but that sounded excessive. On November 21, 2022 Subzero and Viking Repair Group repaired my 27 year old Viking oven and, since then, it's been operating just like new. Their service people appeared to be very knowledgeable and efficient. They had the necessary parts in the truck, perhaps because I had an online chat (in advance of the visit) with their booking agent. And they were able to quickly get my oven in working order on the day that they paid their service visit. I only note that they arrived a little after the scheduled time because they had trouble finding a parking space, and I think they should have called or texted to provide an update on their arrival time. I'm so happy to have found these guys! This was the third different repair service that came to fix my Sub Zero freezer (which is only 3 years old!). It was easy to get an appointment and John came the next day, accurately diagnosed the problem with my freezer drawer, and then came back as soon as parts were in to fix it -- correctly, finally! In the meantime, I needed additional repairs on my Wolf oven and my Wolf microwave (both also only 3 years old but not these guys' fault and another story!!!!!). The parts are hideously expensive and I might not buy Wolf/Subzero appliances again, but that's beside the point. Lucky to have John as the 3rd try and he patiently diagnosed the problem, improvised the solution as the venturi part is almost impossible to dissemble, and eventually fixed the issue.
