I have been having problems with my eliptical has been squeaking forever and gotten so bad I didn't ride it anymore. Called Charlie he had me send pictures of my eliptical and a video so he could hear the squeaking. Told me to grease all the hinges and guess what no more squeaking. He was very courteous, fast, helpful and gave us tips on maintenance. He is reliable and accommodated our busy schedule. He was able to diagnose the problem with a phone call and photos sent over by text. We actually pre-paid for the part through an invoice sent via email during the first phone call. While hesitant at first, there were no issues. In about a week the part had come in and we scheduled a time for him to come over, with a one hour call ahead. I purchased a used treadmill off of Craigslist. It had a few issues that I wasn't sure how to handle. They were intermittent, so I just sort of lived with it. I didn't want to have to call NordicTrack and pay whatever a repair would cost. On a whim one day, I checked Yelp! and found the review for Fixness. I contacted them thru their website, and got a response within an hour (which was 11pm). I set up an appointment with Charlie, and he showed up promptly for the appointment (a little early, in fact). He cleaned the unit, explained what was going on with the intermittent issue, and how to avoid it moving forward. This was my first treadmill, so I had no idea how to maintain it properly. He took his time explaining what I needed to do to keep it running well. Thanks to Charlie, I no longer feel like I'm in the dark with this. Charlie came to our home to diagnose and hopefully get our older treadmill back in smooth operation. We live in the west valley so we were surprised and happy that he was willing to travel to our side of town. It was decided that our treadmill was in need of a tune up and a new belt. We ordered the new belt and Charlie returned to put the new belt on once it had arrived. Unfortunately, the manufacturer sent the incorrect belt, not once, but twice, and Charlie continued to return to complete the replacement. We were very pleased with Charlies work. We were disappointed with the lack of communication and his failure to make the final adjustment on our treadmill as promised. Charlie would not respond to phone calls or texts so a minor repair ended up taking a couple of months. Charlie is a very nice young man but we will not use his service agan and I would not recommend him. read more

Charlie is excellent! Very courteous and professional and took care of my Precor elliptical battery replacement. In fact, talking to him before he came out to diagnose the problem, he felt the back up battery needed replacement, due to age of elliptical, so I went online and determined which battery I needed, picked it up at Battery Plus before he got out to my home, and he was right, battery needed replacement so Charlie saved me another service call! I recently moved to Phoenix from the mid-west. Before moving, I had my local service guy, dis-assemble the base from the top of my treadmill to make it easier to move.
