My first four star Yelp rating for Savannah and it is definitely well deserved! This is fantastic Mexican food and just relocating from Phoenix, Arizona to Savannah, I feel pretty qualified to say that that this is about as legitimate as it gets! Even though Birria is all the craze right now, and I typically don't order it because it's so overly dominant on Mexican menus, we had to try this torta. It was humongous, filled with plenty of meat and drenched in a flavorful birria. Definitely a repeat order! And you gotta love a place that serves really good Micheladas at a really good price and this is definitely one of those spots. Service was outstanding with a staff full of ladies who seemed happy to be at work and happy to serve. I love this location as it sits in a shared parking lot with a music store and some other building but offers plenty of parking including an outdoor patio as well. Absolutely authentic food. There arent enough words to express how great the flavors come together. The portions are more than enough and if you aren't getting it to go, you'll be happy with the leftovers. You can tell that there has been generations of experience in crafting these dishes. For what its worth, I highly recommend a stop for their large menu of incredible dishes. I, personally, love the carne asada quesadilla. The beef is super flavorful and the dipping sauce is perfection. Their jamaica is one of the best I've ever tasted! I could seriously drink gallons of it. My husband loves the chicken tacos. I ordered a Shrimp Flaco Bowl, Flaco Style. I was given a bowl of rice and beans with a few pieces of shrimp, raw onions and cilantro. It was missing the grilled onions, lettuce tomato's, sour cream, cucumber and radish. When Flacos opened in Pooler, I used to get it in a shell. When I went to get it corrected, I was in the middle of talking to her and another guest just walked up to her, started talking and she started responding to him. She only stopped when we said it was rude. We paid another $16 to get it changed to Nachos. Had to tell her several times what was needed. Ordered it with the avocado salsa on the side nd without the other 2 salsas. Added grilled onions and lettuce. It came piled up but queso was barely warm, sour cream was excessive(I did not ask for extra), the grilled onions were cold and there were maybe 4 shrimp in the dish. read more

This was place is delish! Very authentic so if you're wanting Tex Mex this really isn't your place. The menu is very simple and straight forward. Once you walk in you place your order at the front counter. The male staff member today was extremely friendly. There is a fair amount of seating available indoor and out. They make your food in a to go container which I find fantastic because I can never eat all my food. The food is picked up to the right of the counter where you place your order. I ordered the chimichanga with rice and beans. The filling was so delicious I can't even come up with words to describe. There is a unisex bathroom in the far back right of the building. The establishment itself may be no frills but the food is bangin! I love tacos and these are some of the best. I love their steak, beef, pork, fish and shrimp options. Literally everything is good but I haven't tried some of the more interesting options because I'm a little weird about meat. I always get extra salsa because I like mine flaming hot- if they end up a little too warm for you then eat the cucumber and radish they provide it'll cool you off. If you drink soda make sure to get the Mexican Coke it tastes better- and if you're still needing to cool down drink some horchata it taste really good and it'll cool you off. Also the staff is always friendly and it's always clean inside. We haven't been and had a bad experience yet and we've been fans of Flacos for almost two years. read more

I personally LOVE Flacos food, I've tried a few diff things and so far it's all been great. We typically call in our orders to be picked up these days due to having small children which is where my complaints come in. It seems as though something is always missing or wrong once we get home, & each time I call to let them know they're always super nice about it and have even given me discounts on future orders which is great. Last night we ordered, & I suppose there was a miscommunication bc we wanted two orders of the flacos taco special, one order with corn tortillas & one order with flour & then a quesadilla for the kids to split. My bf knew there was something wrong before he left bc there were only two boxes and was able to get it taken care of before driving all the way back home (However they still left out the 2nd drink that should have come with the 2nd special). It just seems like it might be a good idea to call back the orders when they're getting placed. Then once he got home & I started cutting the quesadilla into strips to make it easier for the kids to eat & thank God I did bc there was a big BONE dead smack in the middle of one of the quesadillas. Had my child bit down on it or chocked on it then this would have been a much more unpleasant review. There was also another incident where one of our pork tacos was loaded full of more chunks of fat than there was pork, point being this isn't the first time the pieces of meat being thrown into their dishes wasn't monitored properly. ...again, I'm a huge fan of their food, they please more times than disappoint however these are easily fixed issues that seem to be reoccurring and I'm hoping that maybe this review will encourage them to consider how to avoid these things moving forward. read more

I've probably been to his location enough times to be entitled to a small share in the business. With that being said, I must say that I'd give them 10 stars and two thumbs up on Theo quality of their food in general, the service is stellar. There's this one guy that works on the register who's always smiling (if I knew your name I'd give you a shoutout sweetheart!) But it's a quaint little spot with a super cool vibe. There's a little record store next door so I think that style kind of carries over into Flacos Tacos. When I first pulled in the parking lot I was wondering if I was in the correct location, after observation I was. The food was DELICIOUS!!! I order steak tacos with a side of queso for dipping. The staff was suggestive of things that might be tasty on the menu to help with making a decision. My wife and I visited Flaco Taco yesterday and from the outside it does not look like much and when went inside it was small, however, from the customer service we received from the hostess taking our order and your were allowed to seat yourself, the server came and got your drink order and your food literally came out within 5 minutes. I had the taco salad but it did not come in a taco shell but everything was cooked perfectly and I asked for pickled jalapeños peppers and they brought me some sauté peppers with onions and the were delicious on my salad, my wife had the Birria taco with the consume sauce and wow, AMAZING!! If you are in the Fort Stewart area and looking for great Mexican food, please visit Flaco Taco, it might be small but the food and customer service is, AMAZING, give them a try you won't be disappointed!! read more

My favorite tacos, ever!!! Every time I come here, the food is amazing. The Bloomingdale location is definitely by far the best one. Everything is always fresh and comes out fast. I love Flacos tacos so much that whenever I have tacos anywhere else, I feel like I am cheating!! This place puts any other "Mexican" taco in the 912 to shame. It was cosy, the guy who took my order was super nice not in a fake way. Very laid back place, past it then my curiosity got the best of me. I love ethnic foods, especially Mexican. Flaco cares about his customers! This location used to be my least favorite out of all of them. The wait time for food used to be at least 35 minutes. When i received the order, it was usually cold and/or wrong. The staff was rude and overall customer service was terrible. When I heard Flaco had taken action to fix the issues with this location I went and checked it out for myself. I was blown away by how much it had drastically changed. The food would come out with minimal wait time. The staff was all about customer service and ensured every customer was well taken cared of. I'm a big fan of the fried fish tacos. I usually eat at the one in Savannah, however decided to try this location today. The fish unfortunately was over salted which made the whole taco inedible. I was down in the area for work and there weren't many non chain lunch options, always on the lookout for good Mexican, I decided to stop in and give it a try. I had the California burrito and it was good. The only thing missing was the avocado/guacamole which is key to any California burrito. It was listed on the menu so I think they probably just forgot it on mine. If you like spice be sure and try their orange hot sauce, it's got some bite!
