One of my favorite authentic spots yo Hugo for tacos. Everything is always fresh and made to order. My go to are always the carnitas, the carne asada and barbacoa. The service is pretty quick. Not at all fancy but amazing tacos.

Certainly authentic Mexican food--and a good selection of baked goods as well as the restaurant dishes. A little out of the way for me unless I've at Lake Mayer Park but a really nice experience overall. They're prompt and while the menu isn't as extensive as I'd ideally like (my favorite Mexican places in Ocala, Florida have got my expectations a little high on that front I guess) it was still impressive. No tamales though, not even on weekends. To address complaints by a couple other reviewers about the service, I had not qualms about it. Yes, if you speak Spanish it is a huge help here. Some of the staff have very limited English and I'd say most customers are Hispanic or speak fluent Spanish--I didn't hear English at all whilst there. But even if you don't know Spanish it's worth a go, and you'll love your food. The staff are all very friendly and try to help. Knowing Spanish did let me inquire a bit further about the specials, though . . . I guess my point is, this is very authentic Mexican food so a knowledge of such is very helpful walking inside. The dining area is small but very clean and wonderful, brightly-painted, colorful, tables and huge, heavy, chairs!

Oh my!!!! Delicious authentic Mexican food. Definitely not Americanized which I dislike immensely. I had the harachas. Never knew these existed. I will definitely return. So much to try.

This place is definitely authentic. I loved the atmosphere of the place. When my friend and I first arrived, we stood and waited to be seated for a few minutes, but there only seemed to be two servers who were pretty busy. Our server was very nice. My friend ordered chicken tostadas. I ordered tacos al pastor. Our food came out very quickly. It was all super delicious. There is so much more that I want to try. I will definitely be back!

Taco with devil hot sauce! Muy sabrosa!

Yes, and definitely yes! Tequila and tacos--how can you possibly go wrong?…read more We grabbed seats at the bar, looked over the menu, and I immediately ordered a tequila soda with jalapeños. If you enjoy a little spice in your cocktail, I highly recommend it. Since we were only in town for one night, we planned on hopping around downtown and trying several different places, so we kept it simple and ordered three tacos to share. There were quite a few tempting options on the menu, and every taco we tried was delicious. Looking back, we honestly should have just stayed here all night eating tacos and drinking tequila because none of the other places we visited afterward lived up to this experience. The atmosphere was bright, lively, and fun, with a great location right on the boardwalk. Between the food, drinks, and overall vibe, this ended up being one of our favorite stops of the trip. We'll absolutely be returning the next time we're in town. After experiencing some of the other disappointing spots downtown, this place made us realize we probably didn't need to go anywhere else.

Tacos, margaritas and chips and dip 10/10…read more I came with a group craving some good tacos and a solid margarita. We didn't leave disappointed. Margaritas were tasty with lots of flavors to choose from. We tried the chips and dip trio. Guacamole was amazing and so was the queso. The salsa we had was okay but would probably choose something different next time we visit. Everyone loved their tacos with everyone having a taste of something different. We finished it off with churros which were just as great as the ones in Disney! Our waiter was very friendly and had good recommendations for tacos to try! It wasn't too busy when we first got there but picked up as the night went on! I recommend for a solid girls night or anyone wanting some great margaritas and tacos!

My Cozy Go-To for Date Night Vibes…read more I love this place so much, it has officially earned a permanent spot on our date night rotation. Órale Tacos + Tequila has everything I want in a restaurant: comfort, good food, and people who make you feel like you're right at home. My husband and I are hooked on their American-style quesadillas--mine with shrimp, his with chicken--and let me just say, the portions are generous and they somehow taste even better the next day! Moffie (I hope I'm spelling her name right) is usually our server and she is just the sweetest soul. Always smiling, always kind, and just a pleasure to see. But then... there's JAZMINE. I don't know where she learned how to make an Old Fashioned, but I never want it made by anyone else again. Her hands are blessed. Seriously, I get happy when I walk in and see her behind the bar. The very first time we came, she was experimenting with a jalapeño drink and asked if I wanted to try it--it was FABULOUS. Since then, she's just had that "it" factor. Warm, creative, and magnetic. One time we came in and she wasn't working, and I genuinely felt a little sad! But the time before that, we hugged as soon as we saw each other. That says everything. This place has heart. From the food to the cocktails to the people who make the experience so special, Órale is more than just a restaurant--it's a vibe. A cozy, joyful, delicious vibe. Can't wait for our next visit!

I asked them to add Refried beans and ordered more sour cream and guacamole on the side. The beans were on the bottom while I was told they would be on top - a little hard to spot and taste. We went around 8:30 PM EST and it wasn't busy. We were seated right away and the servers where attentive. Music was playing and it wasn't too loud. It was low enough to still have a conversation. My mother only ordered one taco with guacamole on the side. I found the food flavorful. So much so, I took my cousins back the next evening after a ghost city haunted pub crawl for late bites. Even though there is a completely different menu for late evening, everyone (group of seven) said they enjoyed what they ordered (various dips and tacos). Perfect for drunken cravings! We were also seated immediately during this late night visit. I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

Treylor Park was probably exactly what we needed at 11:30 at night…read more It's somewhere between a diner and a sports bar, but the decor is what makes it. The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.
