I liked taking my truck there in the past. But the consistency is horrible. First time was great. Brand new Chevy diesel. I was so happy to see them hand washing. Turned out great. The next time out comes the power washer. I noticed a few scratches but it's a big truck. No telling where they came from. So I won't point a finger. Last week I returned. I state is like a hand wash. With attitude the Asian kid, 30s behind the counter greets me with were to busy! No alternative like would you like to bring it back in a hour? Nothing. So why I bother with giving additional chances I return yesterday. We can't wash today! Having work done where they hand wash. I have never seen or heard so much BS in my life. I have been a customer for many years. That ended today. I had the platinum car wash today and the car wash pulled off my turn light assembly from the front of my car. I found the lens hanging down the side of my car. When I returned to talk to the manager, he suggested that there was nothing he could do, that my car was old. I found a new lens on the Internet for $37.00 today, I will be finding a new car wash as well. I spend over $200 a month at the car wash and I'm sure that there is a safer place to take my car after eight years. read more

These guys are expensive for a car wash but they do a great job. $24 for inside and out. I took my car in for detailing after someone hit it and got white paint transfer on the wheel well. They got 100% of the paint off, car looks great inside and out. $71 for everything. Took just an hour (on a Friday afternoon). That's a good deal. read more

They don't even get a star!! After I got done paying, I went outside and the guy was already flagging me letting me know my car was done. I got the gold package, plus rain x.. I walked to my car and ofcourse all the water spots were all over the place, my husband had to go and tell the cashier that my car isn't clean because none of the workers understood English.. IF I COULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!! I experienced the worst customer service from the OWNER, and will NEVER give him my business again!!! I stopped-in today after work and paid for the Gold Package, which their menu at the store and on-line explicitly states it includes "wheel and tire wash." When my car was done, I noticed that the wheels were still covered in brake dust and salt grime, so I pointed it out to one of the workers and he said that tires and wheels were not included in the Gold Package. I went back inside and told the guy at the register, and without taking a minute to look at my car, he said the same thing. I asked to see the manager and the owner came out. I explained the situation, and again, without any consideration, and without taking a minute to look at my wheels, he told me that I should have paid three more dollars for the tire shine, or paid eight more dollars for the Platinum Package. I re-iterated that the package I purchased clearly included "wheel and tire cleaner," and he explained that "wheel and tire cleaner" referred to the machine, and that the brushes did not work on all wheels. That is not the customer's problem! and I would argue can be considered false advertising! I totally understand that the car wash brushes will not always get everything off the car or wheels, but my wheels looked like they had not been washed AT ALL. We went back and forth about what "wheel and tire cleaner" meant, and he insisted that the package did not include cleaning the wheels and tires. He didn't care and didn't offer a solution, so I left EXTREMELY frustrated. But while driving home and thinking about the principle of it for about 20 minutes, I decided to drive back to ask for my money back. When I explained to the owner that since he did not keep his end of the bargain, I was an unsatisfied customer and therefore wanted my money back. He denied my request and reasoned that I had already received the service and would not give me my money back. I tried to argue and re-iterate that he did not provide the service advertised and that I paid for, but he didn't care. I also re-iterated that I was the customer, and that I was not satisfied with the service, and he didn't care. I then explicitly asked him if my $14 meant anything to him, or his business, and he said no. Last thing I asked was if there is nothing he would do, and he said no. So I told him that I would never come back, and that I would tell anyone that will hear me what transpired, and here I am. This would be an easy fix. Other car washes have a bucket of soapy water and brush to wash the wheels before the car goes through the wash, and that takes most of the dirt off the wheels. But this guy obviously is taking advantage of people by double charging for a service that is explicitly offered in the lower package, and is reasonably expected from a car wash without having to pay more money. I am a firm believer in the laws of free competitive market and the importance of customer service in business, and I highly value customer reviews and always read them before spending my money. However, because I am a very private person, I hadn't signed up to write my own reviews on Yelp. Also, ironically enough, I always joke with friends when they tell me their bad customer service stories, and I tell them to "light-em up on Yelp." This experience has frustrated me so much that I had to take my own advice and "light-em up," so I created an account and wrote this review. I am a member of auto enthusiast groups in the area, and will share my story with the groups. I HIGHLY recommend taking your business elsewhere, as this guy could care less about keeping it. Zero-star reviews need to be made possible specifically for businesses like this one. I could do a better job of cleaning my car if I drizzled Dawn on it before it rained and then blindly take a Dustbuster to the interior. Not only was it a terrible job, the manager (Matthew) could care less about the unhappiness of the customer. First of all he fought off giving his name and then when made aware of the displeasure of the wash he goes "yeah so" and pauses with nothing else to say. I won't be going back to Dr. Wash after my experience today. All they do is run it through an auto wash and the people on the other side make a big show of vacuuming and drying, but if there is still dirt or sap on the car they won't do more. I specifically pointed out areas around my spoiler and trunk and they only gave them a quick swipe. There's no way I'll pay $22 for a drive through car wash I can get for $4-5 at a gas station. read more

I had Dr. Wash perform a complete detailing of my 2006 Ford Escape. We are the original owners and take good care of the exterior and interior of the vehicle. But when the car emerged from Dr. Wash 1.5 hours later, it was amazing. The polish was perfectly applied. Interior was amazingly clean and even the windows were crystal clear. I like that care that the staff used in collecting the various items from the car and packaging them up in a plastic bag. I'm really pleased with the work done here and am planning to have our second car completely detailed this weekend. read more

Website is out of date. Both Dr Wash locations close at 6pm on Saturday. What a waste of time driving to the 2nd location (Rt 50) after arriving and being turned away at the Rt 29 location (@6:15). When I showeed them the website, I was told "oh, that's the Chantilly location. ...go there." Never again! read more

Terrible customer service. I'm a repeat customer and forgot my coupon, but where other businesses would have honored it anyway, they refused. Asked for the manager, and the attendant told me he was the manager, but didn't budge. Paid full price for the Platinum wash and they did a terrible job on the vacuuming, which I didn't discover until I got home. No inside cleaning. Called and tried to get name and address of owner, but then another "manager" came on the line. They refused to give name and address of owner, but readily took down my name and phone number. Said I could come back in the same day to have car vacuumed, which I couldn't because of an earlier commitment. All around unpleasant to deal with and not an experience I care to repeat. Beware!! Automatic car washes with brushes always pose a risk, we all know that as it is a common fact. But that doesn't mean all 500 cars that goes through a carwash with brushes will come out with damages, but there may still be a couple. The brushes pick up the dirt and brake dust from the cars prior to yours, then rub it all over your car, scratching the paint or window. Car wash industry professionals are aware of this thus have insurance policies and/or liability clauses. This car wash apparently does not have either. They do not disclose how frequently their cars get damaged if you look at the other Yelp reviews and nor do they take responsibility or accept liability. Stay away!! read more

DON"T GO HERE, THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR PAINT FINISH EVEN WITH A HAND WASH! Let me start by saying that I have a new car 3 months old that is parked in a garage 15 hours out of the day. I also take very good care of my car, washing it with the two bucket method. I brought my newer car here and paid $35 for a hand wash, because it was cold outside, I did not have the time to wash it myself, and I would NEVER TAKE IT THROUGH AN AUTOMATIC TOUCH WASH. The employee started at the bottom of my car (where all the salt, sand and dirt collect the most# and worked his way up to the windows. This process catches all the dirt and grim in the mitt and makes the mitt an abrasive. I only saw his rinse the mitt once or twice #who does that?#. I would have stopped him had he begun on the side where I could see his process; by the time I saw it he had two doors left. The clear coat scratching aka spider webbing was all over my car. It did not shine as it should, it instead showed holograms and long scratching all over the hood, doors, trunk and roof. It looked like someone too sandpaper to it! Honestly I would have been safer going through the automated wash. When I approached management about this, their first reaction was "your car can not be scratched by hand washing." He then told me, after he saw the damage that it was "from driving it." I assure you that my car was not a show car by any standard, but it was not marred like this before. The manager blew me off and said "contact your lawyer and sue us." I asked for the corporate name of the company; they said Dr. Wash #that isn't it#. I asked for the owners name; they would not provide. I asked for the managers name; provided a first name #I think# Estimated damage is $1,120 for a two-step paint correction with about 16 hours' worth of work, just to get it back to how it was before my $35 sandpaper wash read more

The Platinum wash did not get the bugs off the front end of the vehicle and the manager refused to perform a rewash when I returned a few minutes later. He also refused to correct the problem or provide a refund. After the wash the bugs were smeared all across the front end of the car. The manager did not provide good customer service, was nasty and rude. He told us there was a sign posted that they do not get tar or bugs off the car. On returning for the 3rd time we found that there is no such sign that refers to bugs. Why take your car to a car wash when the State is full of bugs? Finally, the manager came out with a spray bottle and removed a few more of the bugs and yelled to us don't come here again. He doesn't have to worry. Because we will not be going there again since the wash was done poorly in the first place and the managers actions were clearly inappropriate and not customer friendly. If you're looking for an over-priced place to get treated like crap, look no further. I've used Dr Wash for over 10 years and have always been satisfied (not WOWed) with the service. I also made sure to leave a few dollars in the tip box because I'm sure the folks actually doing the work are getting minimum wage. Today (Friday) I swapped cars with my wife so that I could take her's in for a full detail ($179) that her daughters were giving her for Mothers Day. I called ahead on Thursday and was told that it was "first come, first serve" and that if I arrived by 8:30 am they should be able to get me done by 1 PM. I arrived a little before 8:30 to see that there was already one car getting detailed, but that the second bay was still empty. I waited my turn in line and just as I was getting out to tell the guy what I wanted the cashier came out with the owner of the car behind me and said that he was getting a full detail. This guy must have seen the one empty bay also and decided to jump out of his car and go pay before someone ahead of him ordered detailing services. So what did Dr Wash employees decided to do? They let the guy behind me go first for the full detail and they told me I would have to wait until 3 PM!!! Not having a ride home, they told me they could only drive me a maximum of 5 miles. I live 8.4 miles away, a whopping 16 minutes. Next they had the ignorance and audacity to tell me that if I came early enough on Saturday I might get in but that it was "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE". I guess "first come, first serve" means "get in line, but be first to the cashier" I will NEVER wait in line for an over-priced, average car wash at this place again! I have an appointment at Flagship Carwash in Herndon for a full detail (again, $179) tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM. I was trading in my car this past weekend and figured to up the value, why not make it a little shinier. For $15 I got the Gold wash; the car is run through the wash which you can watch through each window inside the store. Once it's through that which takes a mere couple of minutes, about 8 men hop on the drying, spraying, window cleaning, vacuuming tasks. I am overall happy with the way it was cleaned, there were definitely a few things had I not been getting rid of the car I would've asked them to do a bit more- like dusting the radio console. It's a great easy location to get to and I will definiely be bringing my new shiny car here in the future. read more

I went to get a detailing for my mini van and they did nothing but run my car through the wash and dry it.. and the bare minimum on the inside.. they didnt clean the holes or anything, just vacuum.
