That number goes straight to Delta Mechanical, shown as their installer and "100% backed." Delta's own paperwork says they will inspect the area, install the equipment, and test the unit before leaving. They did none of that. The wall behind the heater was soaked, they mounted an expansion tank into that wet wall, which fell out the next day, never came inside to run water or clear the lines, didn't actually test anything, and left. Soon after, there was water under the new heater again. I was at home with a leaking water heater, repeatedly calling and texting Delta asking what to do. They ignored me, and the visit they finally scheduled was a no-show, so I had to hire another licensed plumber to protect my home. They even brought another water heater with them in case the new one had failed, but after inspecting everything they found and repaired a leak in the wall and told me the water heater itself didn't need to be replaced, exactly what any reputable vendor would do. In total, I paid about $1,100 for the original installation with Delta/Home Depot and another $788 to the second plumber just to end up with one proper installation. Home Depot told me my labor warranty was void because I had called someone else. Now Delta and Home Depot are trying to spin this as "just a wall leak" instead of admitting the installer never did the required inspection or testing. Home Depot's response was an insulting offer of $500 tied to a gag order telling me not to talk about this or leave bad reviews, an offer I refused so I could speak up for other customers. On top of that, Home Depot's own site only allows "product" reviews, not true customer service reviews, and they review what you write before deciding whether to post it, which makes it even harder for customers to warn others. With several hundred bad reviews (266 & growing on Yelp alone) and BBB complaints about Delta, it is a reckless, irresponsible business practice for Home Depot to keep sending customers to this repeat offender. Homeowners should know this before trusting that "Need help fast?" phone number and "100% backed" promise.

If you need it, they either have it or will figure out how to get it…read more I walked in with a rather odd part from a 25 year old dual handle shower valve. I explained to the man at the counter what problem I was having and he told me the part I thought was causing the problem wasn't the issue. It was a totally different part. He not only had that part, but he explained how to replace it. And, he said as long as I had everything taken apart I really should replace the springs and seats (cheap and easy). I went home and within 30 minutes I had the parts replaced and had my shower up and running. I'm sure if I called a plumber I would have been charged hundreds of dollars for this repair. Thanks to Central Arizona Supply's excellent staff I saved a lot of money.

I said, "The part numbers don't match what I ordered." the guy said they were the right ones. I pushed back. he said they were right. He was wrong, didn't care, and was willing to send me home with the wrong toilets even though there would be no way to bring them back once I got home, and now way to get the right ones sent to me. (No, I can't buy these toilets any closer to my house.) I talked to another guy. He was helpful. Found the right toilets, but I had to drive to Mesa for them. $100 in gas and a wasted day I could have been working. They didn't offer to bring them to me the next day. I couldn't sit in AZ for 3 days waiting for toilets. I got the toilets. they were the right ones and in great condition. I called corporate (I won't give names.) the woman who responded was very understanding and gave me a discount, but I don't feel it reflected the trouble I went through, the money I spent or the recommendation I was willing to offer if they had done more. I shared that with her and gave very valuable feedback to the company that was worth far more than their cost on two toilets, which I wanted comped. She said the discount she gave me was the bottom line. And CAS could have had A LOT more business from CA truck drivers if they had done what I felt was right. This could have been a "Highly recommended" but right now it's a "better than nothing. don't trust the staff." situation.
