Raspberry cream pie is literally just that a pie tin filled with whipped cream and raspberry preserves on top with more whipped cream. Too sweet for my taste. Some sort of custard would have been nice to break up all the whipped cream. read more

This place is ADDICTING! The Apple crumble pie is soooo good! If you're wanting a sugar crash, get the caramel pie. Oh my word!! I'm drooling thinking of it. Then there's the 3 berry pie (maybe 4?). I got a variety of pies this time and they were all so delicious! My favorite was the key lime and the berry pie, they are all delicious honestly. I also got some flakies and omg... love them!! Flakies are basically homemade pop tarts but better! Thick and flaky with great fillings and frosting. I honestly recommend getting both pies and flakies, it's just so worth it. These are the best pies and you can either enjoy an entire one yourself or cut in pieces to share with others and try more flavors. There are SO many flavors from fruity to creamy, you'll never know what you may be missing until you've tried them all! My husband surprised us one weekend by taking us to Flake to try its new product, a shake! You pick your pie and they make it into a yummy shake which you can still share but not as easy as cutting the pie. Go to Flake and get a six pack, you will definitely not be disappointed! read more

My crust was a little soggy on the peach and fig flakie. Peanut butter pie filling had a good texture and flavor.

The pies are the perfect size for someone to enjoy! My only complaint is they tend to sell out of stuff pretty quick though out the day. I would also like a little more flavor in the crusts and fillings but still a nice treat, just not my go to. read more

My daughter surprised me with three mini pies from this amazing and much needed business. What a unique idea to serve mini pies!!! I was in pure heaven devouring the key lime, Dutch apple and pecan cheesecake. Whomever the baker is has my attention!! Never again, well I buy a pie from anyone else, these are supreme. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this aesthetic little pie place. The pies were quite delicious and the sizes were reasonable for the price, considering it's similar to Crumble and other places like that. My only complaint was when trying to order online, it charged my card three separate times before I finally just went inside and ordered. All three charges were refunded and disappeared after a few days, but it wasn't ideal. The key lime pie though, now that was a win in my book. read more

Pi Day is almost here and this is the place to get your celebration pies! Yum! We just found this place and are so happy we did. I bought six mini pies to bring to a family dinner to share with 5 adults. We cut them into slices and everyone got to taste them all. We couldn't decide on a group favorite because they were all delicious. We tried and loved the Apple of My Pie, When Chocolate Met Carmel, Peanut Butter is My Jam, Raspberry Fields Forever, Life's a Peach and She's My Berry Pie. There are still other pies to try plus other goodies we haven't started on yet. But our plan is to taste our way through the menu. read more

We went for pie the other day and all 3 pies were terrible. The crust is not flaky and buttery, all the pies we wayyyyy to sweet! The cherry pie tasted like it was spoiled. I am a pie enthusiast. And I will never get a flake pie again. read more

Super disappointed in this bakery. We drove there today from Centerville (27 miles) and were turned away at the door. They were only serving customers that phoned in orders or ordered online. Nowhere on their website does it state this would be their policy for Pi Day. A huge waste of gas and time. read more

We passed this place last week and the smell was so out of this world we said we have got to try this. Well we did this week and we ordered a peach pie. The crust was very good, the filling had very little fruit and the filler tasted just like apple pie. We could have bought a better dessert for less money somewhere else. Sorry to say we will not be going back. I do not mind paying the price for exceptional quality but this was not the case and considering this is their specialty they failed. read more

Stopped by yesterday to try there store. I purchased a small rasp tart and a apple tart. Very disappointed in the rasp. I was thinking it would be full of the fruit and it was not. It had maybe 1/10 of topping of fruit and the filling was just a cream like whipping cream. Will not purchase again. The apple 1/2 of it had apples the other side no apples at all. I was so disappointed when I got our order. Banana cream pie is my favorite and I was so excited to try Flake Pie Co's. What a let down. The crust was soggy and so wet that there was a puddle of liquid underneath the crust. The bananas were black and I couldn't bring myself to try it. The berry pie was ok, again soggy crust.
