The name says it all: sweet and cool. If you're looking for a frozen treat-drink, ice cream, smoothie or slush, this is the place! It's located on Soda Row in Daybreak, which means it will have lots of business during busy concert season. I didn't realize it until after I ordered a slush, but the drinks are GIANT. I'd probably plan to share one next time, or opt for the soft serve ice cream and get a smaller portion. read more

Came here for dessert! We got 5 Taiyaki's 2 filled with Taro, 2 Filled with Nutella and one Oreo. I really wanted to try the custard but they were sold out! The crisp on them were perfect and every inch of the dessert had filling! SUPER YUMMY! My husband got the wintermelon milk tea, we're really picky with our milk tea but we were NOT disappointed! My oldest got the boba milk tea! Very happy with it as well! The boba is soft and had a perfect chewy texture! We were actually shocked and now so happy that there is somewhere so close that meets our standards. I got the peach yogurt drink, it came with popping boba, very tasty and refreshing! My youngest got the match frappe, the matcha taste was there. He was very happy! The service was great! The woman that helped us was so sweet, we had a $100.00 bill and she didn't think she could break it so we tipped higher to get cash back, she ended up giving us back the tip but we ended up putting it in the tip jar anyways. Sweet and Cool does bingsoo terrifically. I suggest trying the traditional Black Sesame Red Bean first. It also has little dots of injeolmi, which is the Korean version of Japanese mochi. I'm currently here with my sisters and we got here at 5pm. We ordered two crepes and 5 taiyaki. We got our first crepe and taiyaki about 30 minutes after. At 5:45 someone came in and ordered two drinks. They ended up getting their drinks at 6pm and we still didn't get our last crepe. Geez, I get there's only one person working but she completely forgot about our order. I had to go up to her to ask for it. Waiting for over AN HOUR is just absurd. My daughter really enjoys coming here. Today she ordered the strawberry shortcake crepe. It was very fresh, filled with fresh ripe strawberries and a strawberry jelly filling. It was topped with whipped cream and fruity pebbles cereal! AND! The fruity pebbles were fresh as well. It's been known that ordering items that contain a cereal topping is often stale but not here. I think the strawberry shortcake crepe would have benefited with additional whipped cream in the crepe but, my daughter said it was perfect as served. The inside of this business is really cute and they have comfy seating as well. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The service was a bit slow but that's what should be expected when ordering items fresh to order. read more

When we got our order, my drink was a thai tea blended with boba and a iced milk tea with clear pearls. Service was promising, he tried but both orders were incorrect. Checked out this place on a date over the weekend. My date was telling me how delicious & unique their take on ice cream was. We got there a couple hours before closing but they were running out of the milk mixture for the ice cream so we were only able to order one small bingsoo. I tried the fresh mango bingsoo & it was pretty dang good! The mango was yummy & the ice cream was very different textures with the shavings but really cool to try something so different. My date ended up ordering a Root Beer Vanilla Float since they ran out of the milk mixture. We were a little confused when it was served with cubed ice in this root beer float. It made it more watered down. I've never seen this happen! A little disappointed to not be able to order two Bingsoo ice cream dishes. There were several after us trying to order them & let down as well. Cool to try. The menu seemed like the specialized more in drink options, such as milk tea, fruit tea more than maybe the Bingsoo ice cream. read more

Was excited to try this place because we love crepes and there are not many places like this. Went in to give it a try. The place was empty with one employee running the place who seemed to be very annoyed that we interrupted her. Gave our order and she told us they were out of an eggs for a breakfast ham crepe and was very confused when we asked if we could just get it without and told us she wasn't sure is she could do that. But that was nothing compared to what happened next. A group came in after us while she was making our crepes, she stopped making them and started to help them which on normal circumstances I would not care considering she was there alone but she kept her gloves on while she took there orders touching the cash register the entire time. I was trying to give her a break but she crossed the line when she took cash and proceeded to give the customer back money in change still wearing the gloves. Then turned to continue making out crepes. I know you're thinking she changed the gloves. You can guess by the one star review the answer to that question. I watched in horror as she cut our fruit and placed the ingredients into our crepes with the same dirty gloves she just handled cash and change with. We walked out leaving the 2 crepes we ordered in disgust. We know this is a small business so we did not ask for our money back. The crepes looked amazing but didn't want to eat something that we would later regret when we started feeling sick. The bathroom was dirty and after reading some of the reviews here it seems others have noticed that cleanliness is an issue so maybe preparing food with dirty gloves is par for the course. read more

Was craving some late night boba and saw that this place was open until 11pm. Went to drive there, arrived there at 945pm, found the open sign on, and the hours posted in front of their store stated that they were open until 11pm. When I walked in all the workers were cleaning and chairs were put away, and I asked if they were still open, and the person at the front said they were closed. My husband and I love to stop here on our nightly walks with our little one for a cool drink. Tonight (Friday october 11th) there was the sweetest gal working, she was the only worker on a busy Friday night. She didn't have one minute to breathe as she was making treats for multiple customers at a time. She kept a smile on her face the whole time, running up and down and out of the shop. I got the taro boba tea and it was only half-mixed and tasted very powdery. I tried to bring it back to have them finish mixing it, but they claimed it was supposed to be like that. This place is a joke and should get no stars. The ice cream is not authentic to the Japanese style that should go along with the taiyakii cones. When we walked in, employees or friends not working were leaning over the counter playing with the waffle machine. The floor was sticky and dirty. The fillings were half attempts at what is served in Korea town, China town, Asian areas of New York and Boston.
