    Small Chicken Pot Pie, $9
    Nick C.

Their Chicken Pot Pie was fantastic with an unreal, buttery crust. $9 for a small. I gotta try a dessert pie next. I saw them featured on Phantom Gourmet and knew I had to get something here. Everything here is expensive though, but it's all made from scratch - high quality stuff.

First of all, it's important to note that have only gone in at the end of a weekday. I would imagine that this reflects in the availability of variety. I have seen some different desserts on occasion, but there are always meat pies in the freezer and apple pies behind the counter. I have purchased Apple pies on several occasions and have never been disappointed. When I brought one to an event, someone asked me where it came from because it was the best apple pie they had ever had. It seems like preordering is the way to go if you want more variety. This is how I was able to land myself a sugar cookie that was soft and delicious.

Excellent pies. Yelp has great reviews so we stopped by to get some. Large chicken pie - moist, big chunks of chicken and a nice crust. Two dessert pies - lemon chess and mixed berries. Both were good. Really a nice crust on them and the berries were not canned. Definitely will visit again and try some others plus the chicken pie again!

Blueberry Crumb Pie - You need to get one!

My friend was visiting from Florida and we like to explore and find new places. So, we took a drive out to Norton and got a blueberry crumb pie. I was a little stunned that the pie was $26 and all the way home, we grumbled about it. However, after getting home and tasting it, we decided it was the best blueberry pie we ever tasted. It had just the right amount of sweetness and we liked the tiny blueberries. The crust was delicious too. I just finished the last piece and knew I had to write a review on it. I highly recommend the blueberry crumb pie.

    French meat pie.

I ordered out from here the other night, I got a large chicken pie and a single serve French meat pie. Chicken pie is PACKED with yummy chicken and veggies, my parents raved about the crust and how flavorful the gravy in the pie was. The French meat pie, much of the same, packed with tons a meat and flavor. As for desert, all I was lucky enough to try was the caramel apple crumble and dear Christ, it was delicious. Crunchy, buttery, flavorful. My parents each raved over the raspberry cheesecake, saying it was the best cheesecake they ever had. I haven't gotten any feedback about the slice of apple I brought home for my dad, but I imagine it was delicious just like everything else. The lady working when I picked up, I regret not getting her name, was so sweet and personable, she made you feel like you've been coming in for years. It's been 3 days and I've recommended this place to all of my coworkers and my mother has done the same, needless to say we'll be back.

After seeing their presentation on 'Phantom Gourmet', I drove up from Providence to give them a try. Mom always said when a restaurant is "full, the food is good." In this case, the line was out the door, and it required a bit of a wait, which was more than good. I got the complete 'French Meat Pie' and brought it home to bake. It came out perfectly and it tasted a whole lot better than expected. It was delicious and the 'Strawberry Rhubarb' pie, small version, we got for dessert was just as good. Now I am curious to go back again and try other pies...yum!!

Mansfield train station (I'm grouping the two) pales in comparison; bathrooms are nicer and cleaner for one. The ladies that work there are welcoming and friendly for another. The main reason I've given Dian's Depot three stars is the little take a book, leave a book library, which is nice but I plan on adding some, and plead for others to do the same, as it hasn't changed in a while. That being said, Dian needs to reevaluate his prices. I got a large tea which is apparently the same price as every other size they offer, with no additional bag. Which means...that's right, we are all being charged for water. It was still fairly cheap but why not make all tea the price of a small, or a large for that matter? I don't care if you charge me more, just don't BS me. Makes no sense. Also I ordered a black tea with milk and sugar and what did I get? No milk. No sugar. The girl tried to argue with me that black tea means nothing added. If I was ordering coffee-sure; alas, I was not. For those of you who care (no one), black tea is a variety, not a description as with coffee. Dian also advertises Twinging's Tea and provides *&^%$ (ROUGHLY TRANSLATED: "SHITTY") Lipton Tea. The ol' bait and switch if you ask me.

Before I hop on the train, I grab a cup of coffee at Dian's Depot, a lil 'mom & pop' hometown coffee shop in the station hut. The customer service from Dian's is superb! I tend to run against the clock and as soon as the young lady spots me she's already making my coffee (flavor of the day, 1 sugar & cream). With hundreds of customers a day, she makes me feel super special by greeting me with a smile and remembering my coffee. My day starts pretty early so she sets my day off right with her sweet attitude and thoughtfulness. Definitely worth the few cents extra for coffee over the big chains. Support small businesses who care about their customers.

First of all, before Kimochi, I would've had to travel to Providence or another city for boba and deal with terrible parking situations and all that unfortunate jazz. But now I can get boba that's right down the street, and where there's street parking galore! I usually opt for a milk tea with tapioca pearls, 75% sugar. I like sweet, but they are quite heavy with the sweetness so I like to tone it down just a tad. I'm a sucker for their brown sugar milk tea, but their Thai iced tea and taro flavors are good too. I was in recently and they had a strawberry banana flavor that sounded delicious but the call of the brown sugar milk tea was too strong. Next time perhaps! The tapioca pearls themselves are great. I've had some bad ones before, but never here. They are the perfect texture and they taste great. They're also usually a little warm which I love! So fresh. The cheese foam is good too if you're feeling adventurous. I follow them on instagram and they always have special festive drinks that lure me in as well, so there's always something new to try! I feel like every time I come here, the decor changes a little. What was once one of those grassy, photo op walls that you see in every trendy place is an interesting Pikachu-inspired mural. They also sell shirts, little trinkets, and stuffed animals as well. I've seen them do promotions with other companies that have also drawn me inside... such as when they were selling mochi cupcakes from a place in Boston (I did not like these) or mochi donuts (love these) before they opened Pinku next door.

Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.
