A long standing, family owned Italian Bakery has been a part of many family parties throughout my life, and I'm glad to see they're still surviving. They offer a great variety of cookies, as well as other baked goods like breads, cakes, pies and more. Many of the cookies are sold by the pound, so my father got a couple of mixed boxes for our family reunion, getting a good mix of styles and flavors. The staff was very friendly, and patient as we filled the box. They took care to put heavier items on the bottom, as to not ruin the softer items, and were happy to make suggestions and recommendations. However, it was far from closed and in fact, the ice cream counter to order is inside, protected from the weather. They have the classics and basics, along with more unique flavors and a rotating flavor of the month. I went with peanut butter oreo and caramel caribou (flavor of the month). They offer different sizes and each one brings a generous amount according to the price. We enjoyed the ice cream outside at one of their picnic tables. They have some plastic traditional picnic tables, but also some stone circular tables which get a little uncomfortable over time. The ice cream was great! The only disappointing part was that the peanut butter oreo had a very light peanut butter base, but it was packed with oreo chunks so it made up for it. The caramel caribou was very smooth and packed with caramel swirls and caramel stuffed chocolate bites. They weren't overwhelming sweet which was good. They also offer half gallons of ice cream to go in select flavors including the flavor of the month as well as merchandise including tshirts, hoodies, hats, and stuffed cows. We were very satisfied with our visit.
