Naturally, had to have Nashville Hot Chicken and Waffles. Buttermilk-Fried Chicken Thigh coated in house seasoning. There was creamy Memphis slaw, a spicy sauce you can select and a good hot honey drizzle. The waffle was fresh and enjoyable and ideal for breakfast as well. This was perfect for dinner or breakfast or anytime of the day. One special they did have, and which is not easy to find, is a good Germany Burgundian Currywurst Sausage Dog. Made with a true grilled Knockwurst Sausage it is on a toasted roll that is topped with smoked gouda cheese and caramelized onions. There is curried ketchup which is a variation of what you do find when you order this in Berlin. It too had fries on the side. The taste was good. It was similar to what I remember when living in Germany. And it is a rare find in many restaurants. But here it was. And with a German beer, it was good. Overall, Burgundian is a place to find. It is not easy, but it is there. It is small and simple. You enter and order at the counter. You can go from Beer to a coffee. From an Appy to a meal. The portions are large. The prices are good. The team is good to work with, ask questions and help. This is not a fancy place, but they will take reservations. Your choice here. The empanadas caught my eye as they came as a set of three. We opted for the steak. These were ready pretty quickly. They used flour as their dough and not corn/masa. The meat was plentiful, shredded, and well-seasoned. However, it was super umami and really could have used some heat or acidity to wake it up. The chipotle cream that came with it helped only slightly. As others have pointed out, they are on the pricier side, three empanadas for $20! While it was enjoyable, I doubt we would search them out again, which is why I decided on a 3 and not a four. Of note, they did have one of the largest menu options we saw that day.

Inside, there's the ice cream counter of course, but there's also a small gift shop selling local handmade goods. There's also some customization options. I bought a decorative piece for my mom while I was there and she really liked it! The ice cream counter is small and staffed by one person. They had different shake and sundae options to choose from as well as scoops. I got a small size but there was a lot of ice cream. It's provided by Bliss in Attleboro and while mine was a bit freezer burnt, I still enjoyed it. We ate our ice cream at some indoor picnic tables they had in a room downstairs off to the side of the shop. They had a TV playing "The Croods" main title on repeat. It was also windy and some tarp outside kept hitting the roof. The woman working was very kind to us. We were ordering a couple ice creams to go, and she offered to scoop them and hold onto them in the freezer while my brother and I ate ours there and then went outside to see the animals! That's right, animals!! They have a goat named Billy, a pig named Peter Porker, and a whole slew of chickens. You can buy feed for $1 and feed the chickens!! They were all so cute, it was definitely my favorite part of the visit!
