The food here is quite good, and I have a particular fondness for the French macarons. A few years ago in New Hampshire, my aunt and I mistakenly confused them with coconut macaroons. They are completely different, and if you haven't tried them yet, you're truly missing out. The restaurant itself is a clean and comfortable spot to enjoy a coffee and pastry or even have breakfast or lunch while getting some work done on your laptop. I usually stock up on meatballs and pasta from the freezer because they are fantastic. The only downside for me is that when I take my Chihuahua for a walk, I can't go inside to grab a coffee due to the "NO DOGS ALLOWED" sign. Even though I could carry him in, as he's friendly and quiet, the sign makes it clear. I haven't asked about an exception since the rule is prominently displayed. As a result, I often find myself getting coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, which I don't prefer, instead of enjoying my macarons and spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. read more

I purchased Zeppole and I would never again order these. I paid $30.00 for something that was not a Zeppole. I have never heard of these being made with whipped cream and strawberries. Traditionally it should have been made with vanilla cream custard like filling and no fruit filling. It was horrible. This was not my first time ordering from them. I should have learned from the first order, which was a very dry cupcake with no taste, but I figured how could you mess up a Zeppole I should have not gone back. One of my favorite bake shops to go to to have several locations. Quincy, Weymouth, and Taunton. For a while they were close to seating but now they're open to seating and they have fantastic variety of Pastry from the moment they open to the moment they close. They also serve and make fantastic pizza as well as now sandwiches and salads in their shops. I also know so I went the other day to the one in Taunton have smoothies. It's a nice place to stop for just a quick coffee and a snack a little bit of dessert while you're waiting with your friends. They don't look like much from the outside before they have packed full of flavor from the inside. All the clerks and all of the stores are very very nice and helpful and understanding. They really know their job and what they sell. They also do catering and cakes etc. for birthdays and parties if you need. read more

Amazing bakery, I cannot help but buy a bunch of delicious pastries when I come here. So many favorites like the almond macaron cookies, the lobster tail, cheesecake (which comes in multiple different flavors), cream puffs (which are my son and I's favorite!), and so much more. I believe they also serve coffee and some lunch type items, but I haven't tried those as I am way too hooked on the sweet stuff. Check them out, you won't be disappointed! read more

Glad to see a new bakery in the taunton area. There arent many in town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice modern decor as well. They have a wide range of breads and pastries. Also some tables inside to sit and have a dessert and coffee. Lots of cupcakes, mini treats, and cheesecakes. We tried the carrot cake mini, cheesecake mini, and a nutella strawberry tart. It was all pretty good. Not the best ive had but it was good. The carrot cake for me lacked taste, i like my carrot cake to have a strong nutmeg and carrot-y flavors if that makes sense lol and this was a bit bland. Overall good, they also have lunch items such as sandwiches but i havent tried that yet. Will return to try something else. Wish them luck and hope they stay read more

I have been here a few times, very good! I went in today Christmas Eve got a birthday cake for my husband and a tray of assorted desserts. Everything looks delicious! I visited this bakery for the first time today. Unfortunately I didn't have the most pleasant experience. I walked in and was the only customer and was expecting to be assisted by the staff. They were a few employees there and not one greeted me or offered help. I walked around and still they continued on conversing with one another. One went over to the register so i headed over to her and she stared at me i then greeted her and began asking about different pastries. She responded as if i was bothering her. Then a gentleman came and began answering for her. I did end up getting two containers of assorted pastries. Used to love this place. Purchased 2 danish, 3 mini whoopie pies (left in the cooler and hard as a rock) and 2 cannoli. Cost was 25 dollars. No matter how you look at it it averages about 3.50 each. I ordered their signature strawberry shortcake which was beyond disappointing. When I served it for Thanksgiving desert it did not slice good and a couple of us tried to slice nice pieces but it was a mess on the plates. I really wanted to love this place but it just didn't happen. The location was clean, the staff were very friendly, and everything was immaculately displayed and crafted. But on the flavor side, we were disappointed. The cream puffs and carrot cake both had a chemical taste to them and the cream cheese frosting was flavorless. The cheesecake was bland and the minis did not even have a crust to them. The cupcakes were the only items I'd ever consider returning for and even they were like 7/10 which is a generous rating. Cake was moist, frosting was somewhat bland on some of them (we tasted 9 of them). Overall, I won't be utilizing them for a big function I originally had in mind but maybe it's growing pains from just being a new location and I'll reassess next time I swing through Taunton. read more

I tried this new bakery for the first time today. They had a great selection of cakes and pastries. I ordered a large cream puff. It was delicious! It was filled with lots of fresh, sweet whipped cream and even had a layer of custard at the bottom. I would definitely recommend trying this place. While I have no real complaints about the pastries themselves, as mine was very good and the cream in the pastry was nice and cold [which I loved]... it was more so the overall experience. My boyfriend and I finally checked this place out, as we live less then 5 minutes away. While we were enamored by the beautiful muffins and donuts, we had absolutely no idea what each one was. So not only when telling the worker which one we wanted, we had to physically point and walk up and down the glass display [which causes chaos to a line]... but when my boyfriend asked what two of the muffins were, the girl didn't answer and just packaged them up. Now my boyfriend probably should've said something, but the line had already formed, and by the time he realized she had just packaged up the muffins, we were already annoyed she never answered his question. Little signs on what each of the pastries and muffins is would be beyond helpful for not only patrons but also the workers. Not to mention the cashiers at two different ends also added chaos to how the line should manage and who actually was next... Can't imagine what it would be like if it were packed! read more
