The absolute best ice cream around. Creamy, thick, not too dense...always perfect scoops, and the homemade waffle cones are to die for! Line is sometimes super long, but it's completely worth it! Cookie Monster is one of my personal favorites, but we have tried a variety of flavors and they have all been so wonderful.

Stopped in for an end of school treat and we were very happy! It's tucked away off the main road, so you might pass right by and not know it. The lobby area isn't open, only the outdoor ordering windows, but there is a sitting area outside with several picnic tables. They have both soft serve and house made ice cream in a ton of fun flavors, including seasonal specials. Their junior sizes are generous, definitely enough for my middle schoolers. They have frappes, ice cream floats, and other fun treats like chocolate dipped bananas and ice cream sandwiches. We really enjoyed our first time there!

I'm not at ice cream person. I decided to go today since we were waiting for our car to be fixed. I'm glad that I went. The ice cream was absolutely delicious and THICK. I was surprised by the quality and the quantity of JUNIOR scoop. There's nothing JUNIOR about it Outside seating is super nice. Great place for ice cream with family and friends. Will definitely go back!

The best local ice cream !!! The Flannel Cow was a great turn of events when it opened a number of years ago. Many local icream shops had closed, and handmade ice cream was rare. Flannel Cow was a nice change. Whether sugar free, low fat, frozen yogurt, Italian ice or more, all are available with the signature cow animal cracker. There are tables with umbrellas in the back in a nice garden area. There is a private parking lot shared with the fitness studio next door. One can use the walk-up window or walk inside. The ice cream is great and the staff do a excellent job. We will continue to return to this great place for ice cream.

Solid 4 star ice cream spot. Order at the window - seating around back. Or can go inside and order and get pints. Tastes homemade. Good customer service. Fair pricing. Maybe the best ice cream in the area.

So yum!!! Caramel brownie, smores and cookie monster. One of the best Ice-cream I have had in MA.

This was one of the best ice cream places in town. Really recommend. Help the college students...

Our new favorite spot for ice cream! Online ordering and curbside pickup are easy. I love the frozen yogurt, especially the Oreo and chocolate peanut butter. Yummy! My youngest loves "the flannel" (strawberry Oreo). My oldest loves the vanilla chip. I stole tastes of each and the ice cream is so creamy and delicious. The "tiny scoop" is perfect for the littles. Hubby can't eat dairy and wishes they had more than one vegan flavor.

Stopped in on the first Sunday night of summer. Got there about 10 min before closing time, as did what seemed to be a bus load of other people. Despite this, they team functioned seamlessly and had the line moving smoothly. Upon walking in, you're nose is first to realize there is a pending delicious experience. The freshly made waffle cones and waffle bowls fill the air with their aroma. The menu has many choices for flavors of hard ice cream, but not an exhaustingly overwhelming list. They also have soft serve, frappes, sundaes, etc. I opted for the coconut & almond chip (junior scoop). The sight and smell of the waffle cones got me. I had my ice cream served in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. It was delicious! The ice cream flavor was spot on and the fresh waffle cone added a great texture (soft and chewy rather than stiff). They also have their flavors in pints to go, prepackaged in a cooler in the store. That's going to be a definite next time. There is also some seating in back per signage. Overall, a great tasting ice cream shop that we will definitely be returning to!

    So good!!!

I had to get something at the Christmas tree shop in Foxborough and Mike is kind enough to drive me. So I returned the favor and brought him out for homemade ice cream not far from there. Of course he got his usual root beer float which is a can of root beer with soft serve vanilla. I really think you can't go wrong with that but I don't think you can get much better either. I got a cone of coffee ice cream and I have to say it's the best coffee ice cream I ever had. It was so creamy and such a great coffee flavor that I absolutely loved it. I would drive there just for the coffee ice cream.

The smallest size they serve cost about $6. You do get a lot of ice cream for even that smallest size. If you get the large I would say you are basically buying a quart of ice cream in a cup. Pros: They are busy for a good reason. When you say the words "Premium ice cream" you are describing Crescent Ridge Ice Cream. Their ice cream is insanely rich, made on the premises, and the ingredients come directly from the dairy cows wandering around freely behind a short fence that separates their parking lot from their cow pasture. So freshness is off the charts. Their ice cream is creamy, flavorful, and mouth watering. I might have tasted ice cream that approached or even equaled Crescent Ridge ice cream in quality, but I have never tasted better ice cream, and I mean anywhere either locally or around the country when I travel. This is a place where you are paying premium prices but getting absolutely ultra premium ice cream. I have never left that place without thinking to myself: "Wow! That was GREAT ice cream!"

I have yet to find any that are significantly better than ordinary Haagen Daz from a supermarket. In fact, most ice cream parlour ice creams aren't even as good, while costing orders of magnitude more than supermarket H-D! Toscanini's is close to equal to H-D in my book...and mainly for the fact that they offer some truly unusual and original flavors: we had the Mango Sticky Rice, Burnt Caramel, and Kulfi. My friend who enjoyed the first one the most, quickly tired of the second, and the third was my favorite by far, mainly because I love cardamom and saffron so much. I was somewhat conflicted with the Burnt Caramel...first taste was delightful, but halfway through the novelty faded away for the most part. We both appreciated that the ice cream was not hyper-sweet like JP Licks, though. HOWEVER, the extreme creaminess, density, and dry mouth-feel of H-D was just not there, as usual. I'd describe the texture of Toscanini's ice cream to be fairly ordinary, like a typical soft/smooth gelato texture. Not bad, but not anything I would really write home about. YMMV of course. Otherwise, service was good and the place is clean and pleasantly modern inside, with 3 nice new steel benches to sit at outside. The benches are curiously turned AWAY from the street, I suppose to foster more of a "communal" vibe and people-watching opportunities. I've walked by during peak hours and seen it quite full, so this place clearly is still quite popular. At $8.25 for 3 scoops (albeit fairly generous sized scoops) of oh, 8 out of 10 ice cream, I don't see myself ever becoming a regular here despite the undeniably interesting/unique flavors, unless I came mainly for the people-watching opps on a nice weather day.

Embarrassingly, we got there 10 minutes before they opened. We camped in the parking lot. When it was time to go in, I already knew what I was getting. Chocolate mint ice cream in a waffle cone. First of all, it is the best ice cream flavor ever created. Chocolate and mint ice cream with Oreo cookie pieces. What else could you ask for?? And then their waffle cones and made fresh and they are oh so good. The service is always great, and they now take credit cards!! I cannot recommend this place enough. The only downside is that they do not have any dedicated seating, inside or outside. There are some planters of sorts that you can sit down on. Once I sat on one for three hours for a first date - can't say I recommend that. But if you want good ice cream, come here! (Yes, it is better than the Barn in my opinion).
