I've always loved Bliss Dairy I was the highlight of our annual family trip to LaSalette Festival of Lights we'd view the lights, and displays then stop for ice cream sundaes or soup and grilled cheeses. Always delicious! I'm hooked on their tomatoes and grilled cheeses. Chicken soup is bland but good. Ice cream is always delish, we brought home some coffee ice cream.

I like coming here for the vibe- big local ice cream restaurant with lots of booths that feel private and friendly waitstaff. There are also sometimes events in the parking lot like djs and games and stuff. It's a very local joint which is great. The ice cream is good, and they have a ton of fun sundae options. Usually they serve it in those nice glass ice cream sundae bowls which tend to spill everywhere, but on my last visit my ice cream was serviced in a plastic cup which was honestly preferable. I don't mind sacrificing aesthetics for convenience. The food itself has never wowed me. I had a Cobb salad last time, which I could barely eat. There was no lettuce on it. The mozzarella sticks weee good though. I'll keep coming here though because there's ice cream year round!

Quick lunch on a Sunday, we started with onion rings and soup so good. And We both decided on grill cheese mine original w/ a cup of broccoli cheddar cheese soup. Enjoyed both the soup was my favorite. my friend got grill cheese with tomato and cup of chicken noodle, she enjoyed. The service great very pleasant. The place is very comfortable just like their comfort food options.

My wife grew up going to Bliss Bros., so when she suggested it for breakfast, I was a little hesitant as I'm very picky about breakfast. But I'm really glad I gave it a shot. The moment we walked in, I loved the vibe. The place has this nostalgic charm that makes you feel like it's still 1980, in the best way. It reminded me of sitting in a Newport Creamery booth with my grandmother. The restaurant is spotless, the staff is always friendly, and we were seated quickly in a cozy booth. I ordered the Greek omelette, and it blew me away. The spinach was gently steamed, not oily, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, light, not greasy at all. I asked for a fruit cup instead of home fries, and it was a fresh, delicious swap. My wife and I also split the s'mores pancake special just because it sounded too good to pass up and it was. I walked in unsure, but I left completely impressed. Bliss Bros. has officially become one of my top breakfast spots when I'm in the area. Great food, great atmosphere, and a comforting dose of nostalgia.

I don't like giving one star, but this was a bad experience. We went for ice cream and we were there for over an hour. The service was shotty at best. The young lady was quite overwhelmed and didn't inform us they were out of certain ice cream until she tried to serve us something we did not order. The dining room was run down with several broken booths that were closed off. The bathroom was a mess. The ice cream made me and my son sick. Unfortunately there was not a single bright spot in our visit. I hope they turn it around, I want to see a local business do well.

Good ice cream, but the actual food is bad. Only go for the ice cream. The staff were great though.

Our fave place for ice cream! Lots of flavors. Even dairy free options. Huge outdoor space with tables and fun games for the kids.

That's where I first discovered an Orange Freeze, a refreshing frappe like combination of orange sherbet and vanilla soft serve that quickly became one of my favorite summertime treats. So after celebrating our daughter's birthday in Quincy, we decided to walk down the street to Dairy Freeze on Adams Street for dessert. To my surprise and delight, they had orange sherbet and vanilla soft serve in the same machine and even offered it as a twist. There was no way I was passing that up. The first taste instantly brought me back to those childhood summers. It was absolutely delicious and filled with so many great memories. Sometimes a simple ice cream can do that. Dairy Freeze is one of those iconic neighborhood establishments that has been putting smiles on people's faces for decades. Great ice cream, friendly service, and a little dose of nostalgia made this an unexpected highlight of our evening. I'm so glad we stumbled across it, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Quincy looking for a sweet treat.

My friend and I were on the hunt for a good ice cream spot that gave the "farm fresh ice cream"…read morevibe and we came across Dairy Freeze during our search. The ice cream itself was sooo good. I got my usual: soft serve twist with rainbow sprinkles in a waffle cone. The cone was so fresh and flavorful, the rainbow sprinkles also tested fresh (I love when the sprinkles have their own distinct taste. That's how you know they're fresh), and the soft serve was cold and creamy. The dream. My friend got the cookie dough hard ice cream in a waffle cone and she really liked it too. The ordering/waiting lines were wild. Idk if it was an off-night when we went, but there were at least 15 people standing around waiting for their ice cream while we were in line ordering. Then it came our time to wait and it took 12 minutes just to get these 2 cones out. The kitchen was closed by the time we were there too, so no one was waiting on food. We were all waiting on an ice cream cone. I feel for them - it was a hectic summer night and everyone wants good ice cream - but I honestly hadn't seen anything quite like this before!

The person in front of us ordered a lobster roll, which he said was delicious. It had huge chunks of lobster, and my wife, who doesn't like seafood said she'd be tempted to try one. I ordered a cheeseburger, which was cooked to perfection and had a nice meaty flavor. My wife ordered a hot dog, which is kind of hard to go wrong with, but she said it was very flavorful, and my son got a cheeseburger as well and said it was very good. Ordering is at a window outside, and they call your name when your food is ready. They also offer ordering via their website for pick up. The restaurant is located at salty Brine State Beach, which is a large, sandy beach that's sheltered by rough water because of huge jetty's out in the water. If you come to the beach for the day, you can grab a quick bite when you're hungry, some ice cream when you want a snack and drinks throughout the day to keep you hydrated in the hot weather. Next to the order window are several metal tables on a large wooden deck in the open sunshine. If you'd rather sit in the shade, there's a large covered picnic area with picnic tables that overlook the channel. There's also an open area where you can setup you own chair and watch the boats in the channel. Because the restaurant is located at a state park, state workers are always coming by and sweeping, cleaning the tables and keeping the place in tip top shape. Also, because they don't want any trash ending up on the beach, there are no garbage cans nearby, and you have to bring it back to the ordering window for the staff to throw out. If you want the cheapest burger available, this isn't the place to go, but if you want a burger (or other food) that's prepared fresh, with prices similar to what you'd pay at a higher end fast food burger place, Salty's is worth a visit. The restaurant is open daily, 9AM to 5PM, closed on rainy days.
