The veggies, cabbage, broccoli & carrots were fresh and cooked perfectly with a bit of crunch. The avocado was perfectly ripe and a creamy complement to the heat of the chicken. Went by today and used the drive through. The service was really fast and the communication from the attendant was great. The outside of the business looked very clean and is in a great area (very nice shopping center). I ordered our food to go and after a 25 minute drive home the food was still hot and delicious! I usually get Flame Broiler once or twice a week on my way to work in the afternoons. The bowls are well portioned. The chicken is not dry, the veggies are cooked well and the it has a good amount of rice. I usually ask for magic sauce which gives it a sweet flavor. The drive-thru staff is always nice. First time trying Flame Broiler today. We used their drive thru! The employees taking our order was friendly. We ordered the chicken bowl and added green onion. Total was a little over $11. The bowl was prepared very nice and clean looking. The chicken has a nice grilled flavor! Not a lot of chicken for $11 but it wasn't get angry bad! Lots of rice, a little too much! Vegetables were prepared nicely not to soft not too crunchy. Pretty dry bowl for my taste, I'm not sure if you have to ask for them to add a soy sauce or something but it was super dry! Overall the chicken was good but too much rice and no sauce made it super dry also a little pricey for the size! I might go back one day but probably not! read more

This place kind of reminds me of yoshinoya. Only fresher, healthier and better. Came by on a Friday afternoon for lunch, place was not crowded at all. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Super simple menu. We ordered two chicken bowls with teriyaki sauce. Waited about 5 minutes, and our food was ready. The bowls were piping hot and filled to the top. Very generous portions. Chicken was tender and flavorful, vegetables were firm but soft & and rice was fluffy and soft too. Teas freshly brewed and have a good taste. What a perfect little lunch it ended up being. I was recently introduced to flame broiler and I'm ADDICTED. It's definitely nostalgic for me since I grew up eating "meat and rice" as a staple dinner. Inside is crisp and clean with lots of room to sit. The magic sauce is teriyaki adjacent, but doesn't have the same thick viscosity (which I do not like in teriyaki). Even the Stockdale location. Always the same. 4 star. I like food and service that is consistent across the board. I like both the brown and white rice. The meat usually is tender and tastes fresh. If I could put less than 1 star I would. We went to this location yesterday and ordered 2 Combo Meals one was no veggies just rice and meat, and the other was brown rice, veggies, and meat. Well, on the one that was supposed to be without veggies it came with veggies, and very little meat when it was supposed to have double meat, and on mine it had white rice instead of brown rice. When we tried to call last night to let them know there was no answer and we called them several times and again today keep calling and cant get through. This is a disgrace and I recommend that you choose a different location when wanting Flame Broiler because this location is worse than poor... we pay for our food hoping to get what we want, it is very unfortunate to say the least that this location is absolutely dreadful... read more

I use to go to the one on Coffee Rd on my way to work but idk not sure what happen but that location started to fall off and ended my love affair with Flame Broiler LOL. But this location has total repaired that, it had the same great taste I grow to love everything from the meat to the veggies to the rice taste great. Flame broiler is healthy, affordable, and convenient. The one thing irks me is the structure of the regular bowl. Let me explain: I HATE the structure of bowl. It is impossible to spread l sauces across the bowl and most importantly to the rice at the bottom of the bowl. Sauces only penetrate the top layer of meat and get to the top of the rice in the bowl. I try my best to move around the food but it always gets messy and often I have rice all over my desk from eating that I have to clean up. Can you guys get a bigger wider bowl that makes it easier to move food around so I can get the sauce on every piece of rice? I'm tired of eating dry stall rice at the bottom of the bowl. I usually just throw it away at that point to prevent from making a mess. Who else with me? read more

I am a fan of Flame Broiler. It was literally love at first bite for me. The freshness of the chicken, paired with the vegetables and topped off with magic sauce is my idea of feel-good eats. The inside of this specific location was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the self service area was stocked and organized. I was able to sit with a friend and have nice conversation while we enjoyed our food. I have yet to try the tofu, which is strange because I love tofu, its just hard for me to break away from my go-to order of white meat chicken on white rice with vegetables and green onions (the more the merrier). I wish the drive through option was available at all locations, but I like their food so much I'd park and walk in any ol' day. I highly recommend Flame Broiler if you haven't tried it yet.
