Great spot consistent food need to add queso to their menu but have a good margarita. Price is six dollars and five dollar Kronos :-) service is hit or miss. They have some great new servers but in the past it was not the best . I really like this local spot and hope they continue to do better and keep it cute and festive in this beautiful area!

If I ask my fiance what he wants to order for dinner, his answer will always be, "a burrito". And with a name like 'Flaming Burritos', it was bound to catch his eye on the delivery apps. So we ordered an early dinner one Monday evening. We ordered the Al Pastor burrito (stuffed with black beans, Mexican rice, Monterrey Jack cheese wrapped in a 12" tortilla. Served with sour cream and homemade flaming salsa) and the Super Quesadilla (melted Monterey jack cheese, pico de gallo, Spanish rice and fresh guacamole inside and sour cream on the side) and added chorizo. Both were great and super filling. I was actually starting to get a little full after the first half of the quesadilla but since I'm not a quitter, I decided to finish the other half. Would definitely order from here again. Next time, I'd like to try their wraps or the tacos.

Just bad bc it had to be old and it also had ZERO taste well there was the lime ... but not worth $10 ...no way, no how, no deal

The food is tasty and feels homemade which I personally love. The Baja fish tacos don't disappoint, they are delicious, I love the grilled chicken enchiladas with the red sauce usually is my to go dish. My husband likes the birria tacos which are awesome too. The service is great, their servers are super nice and friendly!!! The place is small but pretty cozy and has that neighborhood vibe.

A delicious find in Union City. The Flaming Burritos at 46th Street and Park Avenue. Good food and good fun. A gold nugget in Union City. What delicious food and great service! Thank you Angie, Alex and everybody for making me want to come back again and again! This is the steak burrito. Delish!

I dragged my favorite vegan out here for dinner on a Tuesday. Parking in the area is INSANE. It was almost an hour before I found a spot which is ridiculous. We came here specifically because they serve vegan chorizo, as well as seasoned tofu as protein options. For appetizer, we got an order of jalapeno poppers. They were super hot, and squirted out mad cheese when we bit into em. Our food came next. I got a super quesadilla with tofu and vegan cheese. She got a wet burrito with vegan chorizo. The portion sizes are enormous, and the prices are very low. The food was very good, and we had plenty to take home. I really liked this restaurant, it's just too bad parking in the area sucks

If you're looking for a no frills Mexican place then this is your spot. They don't have any fancy dishes, just simple, good portion food. I usually go for the burrito and never really am disappointed with it. They put a good amount of beans, meat and rice in it. If you want more added like guacamole, jalapeño, etc. you can but they will charge you extra for it. So that's kinda the only down side as they do charge extra for everything you add. They have a liquor license so margarita's and beers are available for I believe 5$ each. A good amount of tables are available inside to dine in and never had to wait for a table. I believe they have a lot of take out going on instead of people dining in. I would definitely recommend this place if you're just looking for a nice filling Mexican plate.

A great choice for some delicious Mexican food in the area. I was quite appreciative that they're still open for business during this time even as quite many of the local restaurants have closed up doors. At first I thought the prices were bit high but after trying out their burrito and tacos I think its definitely well worth a try if you're a fan of Mexican food. I didn't like their chicken mole that much however but especially the shrimp burritos is quite a delicious treat. Pick-up was super simple and easy and definitely under Seamless' time of estimate. Hopefully once we're able to go back out to dine at restaurants I'd like to try Flaming Burritos dining in.

    Cockroach leg on my finger.

THERE WAS A DEAD COCKROACH IN MY NACHOS!!!! Manager/owner refused to follow up with me. Do not go to this place or order. The employees gave me the run around when I went back with the food and said someone will follow up with me. No one has yet "Fresh Mex"

We ordered: Borracho Tacos (fish) $22 Esquites Gratinee (corn) $10 Truffle Ribeye Burrito $27 Black Chili Crunch Guacamole $14 The borracho tacos aka fish tacos were very small and disappointing. They are very overpriced for what we received. One small piece of fish per little taco shell. Flavor was ok. Are they worth $22? Absolutely not. We will not be reordering these. The Esquites Gratinee corn side dish was bigger than the guacamole portion and flavorful per my boyfriend. I don't eat corn so I didn't have any. My boyfriend really liked it. Said it's unique and 10/10. He would get this again. The truffle ribeye burrito is delicious. Though I didn't get any truffle flavor? If it was there, it's minimal. I didn't taste it at all. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and it's a good portion of meat. Tender and flavorful. No chewiness. Sauce on top is amazing. Rice and beans cooked perfect. Would order this again. It's worth it. Even without truffle flavor. Great portion size too. The black chili crunch guacamole is the star of the show. While it's a small portion, it's very flavorful. Love the garlic. Love the crunch. Fresh avocados. This is worth it. We would definitely order it again. Highly recommend the guac. Small but mighty haha.

That occasion had been a few years ago and had involved an insanely strong margarita, an experience that I would not want to relive. However, my friend suggested grabbing dinner there recently, and since it was a nice evening and their outdoor dining was right on the main thoroughfare of Washington Street, I agreed to at least go to enjoy their excellent people watching. I certainly vowed to skip the cocktails, but was willing to give their food another chance. We started with crisp, lightly-salty tortilla chips and a rich, bold salsa. I then ordered Vegetable Fajitas, which included green and red bell peppers, zucchini, and onions. The peppers had been sliced so thin that they were barely noticeable and made hardly any flavor impact. The sizzling platter was also about 85% onions, of which I was not a fan, so I sent back most of them in the end. The whole thing was also rather greasy. The flour tortillas were delicious and not artificial tasting like most. The DIY platter was also served with a side plate of refreshing sour cream, well-seasoned guacamole, sliced jalapenos, and fresh pico de gallo. I wished the portions of these condiments were larger, though, and the guacamole, in particular. The staff was so friendly, allowing us to linger at the table after we paid and even refilling our water during that time. They all provided service with a smile, which also helped ease any frustration a diner might have about the fact that they apply an automatic tip of 20% to the check for any party size. While I still had a decent experience at East LA, it was much better than I had remembered, and I would be willing to return.

The margaritas are $7 and they don't charge extra for flavors or to make it frozen, which is already a win. I got mango frozen and it was sweet and refreshing, perfect for the heat. They also let you pick your rim, sugar, salt, or tajin, small thing but I appreciated it. Our server was super attentive, kept checking back on us way more than most places do, and even gave us a heads up before happy hour ended so we could sneak in one last round. That kind of thing makes a difference. Food is half off apps during happy hour. The chicken flautas were legit, would definitely get those again. The East LA wings were just okay though, didn't have much flavor and wouldn't rush to reorder. Chips and salsa come free for the table, nothing crazy but a solid snack while you wait. Good value, friendly service, solid drinks. Skip the wings but everything else is worth it on a Tuesday.

Christ on a chopstick, I haven't seen an $8 sandwich since I was in grad school (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth)! We started with the Tamal Cubano, which was fantastically delicious, though the accompanying sauce wasn't hot at all. A shame, because it was well-flavored--just needed a lot more capsaicin. My Cubano was very well done, but barely had any pickle in it, which made me sad. I opted to add fries and wasn't sad about the small, thin ones I got (very McDonald's-shaped). However, the Pechuga de Pollo Adobada con Escabeche de Calabaza was a disappointment. The grilled chicken was drastically overcooked, probably because they used really lean breast meat. The accompanying Caribbean pumpkin was interesting, but too small. The other side of rice and beans was perfect, though--great bean texture and lots of savory flavor. With tax and tip included, our meal came out to $33. $33! You can't even get lunch for one person for that price at 90% of Manhattan restaurants south of Central Park. I could've cried with wonder at the bill. Time travel is real guys--at least financially. Just hop into El DeLorean and come to Chango.

The nopal was surprisingly delicious too, soft and well seasoned, and the chicken was much better than I expected. Only complaint was that the tortillas weren't as fresh as I was expecting. However, we had them again at the Midtown East location and they were way better there, so maybe we just caught a bad batch.
