Visited this location for first time, the restaurant venue was very nice and spacious and the staff members were very friendly. We ordered chicken wings that came with fries, a salad and bread. All the food arrived fast and was delicious and the portion served were very generous. We also got a corona beer pitch that came with an appetizer. I ordered the ribs the first time and with literally three hours I started throwing up left and right and having horrible fever. I was seated around 1:00 PM and placed an order for nachos, a burger, and the firecracker shrimp. After waiting 40 minutes with no updates, I flagged down our server, James, who had not checked in with us during that time. I asked how long it typically takes to prepare nachos, and he responded that he had just placed our order and that nachos usually take only 3-4 minutes. This only reinforced my concern, as it was now after 2:00 PM and our food had still not arrived. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but guests seated 20 minutes after us received similar meals--such as a burger and BBQ chicken--well before we did. Our shrimp and burger finally arrived at 2:12 PM. In the meantime, my soda had gone flat, and I wasn't offered a refill until the very end of the meal. Overall, the service was disappointing. That said, the firecracker shrimp was excellent--flavorful enough that it almost made up for the experience. I hope this feedback helps improve service consistency moving forward. read more

I was down in Florida for a high school football game and right before arriving, the skies opened up in true Florida fashion causing a rain delay due to lightning . Since we had time to kill, we were told to hit Flanigans seafood bar for a tasty drink and delicious food. We entered and the place was packed. And boy do I mean packed. There was a lengthy wait, however someone was tired of waiting and gave me their spot in line, what a nice group of Floridians! We were thus seated rather promptly and given menus for drinks and food. Opted for a Sam Adams beer and a giant plate of nachos. The beer arrived ice cold and when the nachos arrived, I couldn't believe how huge the platter was. The chips were crunch, the condiments were fresh and delicious and the cheese was tasty. Crispy crunchy deliciousness. The service was good considering how slammed they were. Overall I had a great experience at Flanigans and when I'm back in the Fort Lauderdale area I will surely go back for some more beers and nachos since the price was right and the food was good read more

Honestly, the ribs were so dry and burnt, and the fries were so dry and overcooked, I couldn't believe it was served to us. I will be sticking to other locations, never has the food been so bad as the Miramar Flanagan location, which also brought our entrees out right after the soup came to us and before we got our wings (which we canceled given the condition of the ribs, the fries, and the equally dry baked potato). We had another great experience at Flanagan's in Miramar a couple nights ago! My kids and I go to Flanigan's pretty often, but this visit really stood out thanks to our server, Bruno. From the moment we sat down, Bruno was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed, and his positive attitude really made the night even better. It's rare to come across service that genuinely elevates your whole dining experience, but that's exactly what he did. By the end of the night, my son turned to me and said Bruno was the best server we've ever had at Flanagan's--and I have to agree. We'll definitely be back again soon! I love Flannagan's and always go to the Pembroke Pines location ( I live in Miami Springs). But, it was easier for the group to meet at Miramar to celebrate my birthday. We were a party of 11 and were seated outdoors. It was 15-20 minutes before someone realized that we had not given our order. Part of the group ordered 2 buckets of beer but my husband, friend and I ordered a coke , water and a beer. We all put in our food order at the same time as our drink orders. About 20 minutes passed and one bucket of beer came out as well as my drink. Then about 20 minutes later, 2 plates of food arrived but the other bucket of beer still had not arrived. When we asked about the 2nd bucket of beer, the waitress said they were cooling 2 Heinekens to bring out the second bucket. The group said to just bring another brand of beer. She could have asked the group and given the choice to wait or make another beer selection. The remainder of the food orders didn't come out until another 15 minutes later and it was cold and the orders were incorrect. By this time, 2 managers were involved but still did not seem to be able to fulfil the orders correctly. There were no condiments ( salt, pepper, ketchup. BBQ sauce) on the table even after we asked several times. This was a complete disaster and untimely orders. Additionally , my order of wings had a line of feathers still on some of them. Disgusting!! I have never had such poor service and poor quality of food. Our orders were not complicated and although the managers could see the unorganized mess and provided an apology, there were no attempts to correct the ongoing mess. We were very disappointed and all agreed that our experience was the worst. I sent an email and the response was "We regret this was the case during your last visit. We have recorded this information and will be discussing it with our team. We appreciate you sharing this feedback". No compensation on our wasted time and money. They brought everything out before the ribs which was fine, however when I sent back the ribs because they were full of fat, I asked if the new set could come in a to go box that we were happy to just wait for it and pay for it. He said yes, so we waited. Another guy came with the ribs from the back with a with the food on a regular plate. I asked why wasn't it brought in? I am a frequent customer at Flanigan's, and to be honest, I've had some pretty disappointing experiences here in the past. Because of that, my expectations weren't very high--until we were lucky enough to be served by Bruno. Bruno completely changed our perspective on this restaurant. From the moment he greeted us, he was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He checked in at all the right times, made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and made us feel truly taken care of--not rushed or overlooked. It's rare to have a server who can single-handedly turn around a guest's entire experience, but Bruno did exactly that. Because of him, we left happy, impressed, and willing to keep coming back. This very crowded location was kinda disappointing. The ambiance had excessive fruit flies when we dined outdoors. They customers waiting were just hanging around the outdoor dining area making it somewhat uncomfortable. The business next door had fans to keep them off of the food but not a flannigans. The usual favorites seemed more dried out than other locations. Ribs slight dryness and fries were overcooked . Coleslaw had a heavy taste of celery salt. Service was just ok. I moved to another state 5yrs ago and I finally came back to visit. First on my list to visit was Flanigans, big mistake. We ordered it as take out and they didn't give my husband our drink. Then when he went back for the signature cup and coke, they said they didn't have coke so, he chose Sprite and the cup was (what seemed) 90-% ice and 10% Sprite that tasted flat and flavorless. To top it all off, the fries were stale (I opened the food container to sneak in a fry when he went to get the soda.) I honestly didn't want to complain over fries so, I ignored that but, the ribs weren't cooked well and slightly charred as Flanigans usually would cook them. My wife and I come here regularly for lunch / happy hour and without fail Justin and Ashley ALWAYS have our drink ready by the time we hit our seats. For the most part, Flanny's is Flanny's. But my local spot is actually my least favorite. The entrance, seating, check-in area is all sort of awkwardly placed. I love Flanigan's, always have... so when a new location opened right up the street from me, I had to check it out. This location is in Miramar, FL just a few blocks east of I-75. Very nice aesthetics including a large fish tank and their typical fishing decor throughout the restaurant. There's a nice bar as well bigger than some of the other locations I usually go to. We ordered the ribs special, which is a full rack and your choice of two sides. The ribs at Flanigan's is hard to beat. Probably the best I've had. One of the great things about Flannigans is, there is always a special every day, and they also have meal deals, which are great unusually include two sides, and a drink. Our waiter was very friendly, energetic, and helpful. Great guy! Con of this visit: Right after we got done eating, I noticed a roach crawling on the seatback of where my husband was sitting. Just as I was telling him it was there, our waiter was walking by and grabbed it for us. Look, we live in Florida and there's gonna be roaches, but you never want to see one in a restaurant when you're eating. Pro of this visit: Everything I expect from Flanigan's was spot on, the service, the food, and the atmosphere. As far as the roach situation, our waiter took it right to the manager, who came to our table and apologized and comped our entire bill.
