I've been to Tap 42 Midtown a few times and it never disappoints. My absolute favorite dishes are the Crispy Asian Calamari Tower and the Wagyu Steak & Noodle Bowl. The noodle bowl has a little kick to it, which I love. It's so flavorful and honestly too good to pass up. The vibes are always great, whether you're there for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It's definitely a Miami staple and one of those spots you can count on for consistently good food, drinks, and energy. The service was a bit slow but it was brunch time.

Came here with some friends and started off hot with the Cheesesteak Egg rolls they were phenomenal. Then for my meal I got the Big Smash with a side of sweet potato fries! The big smash was good I gave it a 7.8/10 on my one bit score which is a pretty damn good. I liked the flavor of the sauce paired with the juicy patties it hit the spot for me. The service was a bit slow I felt like we were last priority to our server I don't know how many other tables she was on but it wasn't the best service. Other than that I would love to come back and try some drinks this time and test out some other things on the menu!

Loved the place it had such immaculate vibes. I sat outside and it was beautiful. I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak and eggs were good, but the hash brown was way too hard to enjoy. For the price, I also think the portion size could be a bit bigger. That said, the service was excellent and our server was very attentive. Would I come back? Yes, but I'd definitely try something else on the menu.

I returned to this old fav to celebrate the big 5-O as a boozy brunch with a group of friends. For starters, the CLASSIC hip hop beats took me back to my 20's since everyone knows 50 is the new 21! Our group had a patio table; with today's weather it worked out perfectly! I appreciate how their manager Dayan was able to work with me the week prior to reserve for my group. We had two servers who were really timely with plating and drink refills for their unlimited mimis ($30, and you can switch around between champagne, seltzer, bloody Mary's and beer). The excellent staff also let our crew enjoying the ambiance until well midafternoon. As far as food, I kept it classic with their chicken and waffles. Served with an order of nicely crispy sweet potato fries, this was a fluffy waffle with a serving of lightly breaded chicken tenders. The tray comes with ketchup, a marshmallow sauce as well as maple syrup. For my birthday, I also received a chocolate bread pudding a la mode with a candle and all. The pudding was rich without being overly sweet and a sweet culinary close out to my big day!

I've been to serval Tap42 locations and this location really needs an overhaul. The music was amazing! The dj played a lot hits that made us want to sing and dance. The service was mediocre at best. Despite a not so busy Saturday afternoon, we had to ask 3 times for drinks and it took a while to place our order. The food was horrible. My sweet potatoes fries were cold and scraps. My hangover burger was supposed to be served on a brioche roll and wasn't. The bacon was super thin you could barely taste. My blueberry drink was pretty good! The restaurant was super hot and uncomfortable. My legs and back were sticking to the seats! I will definitely avoid this location.

Went to watch college football. Inside its really loud which makes it unenjoyable and by I mean loud, because they have a DJ I guess they want to pump up music high. Had buttermilk chicken wings with a delic cole slaw while I sat at the bar. Good vibe. Reminded me a little of Houstons in NYC but Miami-ified for you NY'ers.

Stopped by for some food before a comedy show and this place did not disappoint. The inside was live, the food was bomb, and our server was super helpful.

It is always the quality of the food for me. The restaurant is really nice. The ambiance is top tier. We sat outside. It was a nice atmosphere. The waitress took a while to take our order. Once the order finally came, the food looked delicious! See photos...HOWEVER, it was not. I think my burger was a pattie. It had no seasoning at all. The fries were cold eventhough the waitress brought me new ones. There were cold ones mixed with luke warm ones. The Ceasars salad was kind of salty. The Ceasars wrap was just okay. My daughter liked the salad better than the wrap. I would suggest telling them to warm up the chicken. I will probably will not be going back.

This location is big with plenty of seating indoors and outside as well. The staff is fast, efficient, and very friendly. I came her for a bday party. We had a very big ground but no issues with service. I ordered drinks as well as a street corn avocado toast with a side of brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious.

This little cup was divine . You will need atleast three and I'm not even a fan of coffee let alone espresso with licor but this little thing here has changed my eye . Our bartender for the day was Mr.Noah ! He truly knows how to make a shot we also had appetizers but they didn't last long enough to take a photo the ambiance is always beautiful as you have options to sit inside or out ! Personally I enjoy the scenery of the outside but the service is better at the bar . So we comprise and sit inside . Ok so for appetizers we had the grilled chicken wings amazing, shrimp cocktail with mustard sauce , Fries super fresh and the ribs all were doing happy hour special !

Steak sandwich

Got a to-go order with my coworkers and was pleasantly surprised by this steak sandwich! The meat was a bit chewy but the flavors were there!!! The cheese, sauce, and steak meshed perfectly together. The bun was soft and slightly toasted, adding another great layer to the sandwich. Highly recommend!

This place is hopping. The ambiance is great with terrific music and amazing food. They have a wide selection of beer on tap and great brunch specials with bottomless drinks for 30 dollars which is phenomenal. The surrounding is great with alot of stores and more eateries. I had their blonde ale and chicken wings. Those wings are the best I've had around this area. We had the prohibition burger which was delicious. I highly recommend and comes with a handsome amount of fries. If your in the area for a good vibing place. Come by.

After a little searching, I came across Elevar Wynwood and I'm glad I did. One of the first things I appreciated was finding parking right out front. The rooftop sits atop the AC Hotel Miami Wynwood and offers a spacious, clean, and well lit atmosphere. The views are decent and the overall setup is impressive. There are plenty of tables, comfortable lounge areas, a full bar, a grill, cabanas, a pool, and even additional lounge space to spread out and relax. What surprised me most was that it was not overly busy for a Saturday night, which made for a more laid back experience. My bartender, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was excellent. She was sweet, personable, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. We only stopped in for drinks. I ordered the Bourbon Night, made with Bulleit Bourbon, raspberry, peach, orange bitters, and rosemary. It was flavorful, balanced, and definitely had a solid bourbon kick. My friend ordered the Paloma, which comes with tequila, grapefruit, lime, and grapefruit soda. He later switched to a vodka version and enjoyed that one even more. Overall, we had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was excellent, and the venue offers much more than just drinks. If you are looking for a rooftop spot in Wynwood that is comfortable, clean, and not overly crowded, this is worth checking out. I would absolutely come back, and after seeing the property, I would even consider staying at the hotel on a future trip.

We drove from Tampa for the weekend and were excited to visit Elevar for brunch and had…read morereservations for 11:00 a.m. We arrived about five minutes early and were excited to experience the rooftop. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the rooftop was completely closed. The chairs were still up, there was no bartender, and no staff members were present. We called to let someone know we had arrived and were told to wait a few minutes because the team was wrapping up breakfast service downstairs in the lobby. We waited approximately 30 minutes and called again because no one had come to take our order or provide any update. After our second call, we were told that someone would come speak with us. Kayla then came up to the rooftop and sincerely apologized for the situation. She explained that the restaurant was severely understaffed after three employees had recently quit, and the remaining team members were doing the best they could while covering multiple roles. Kayla suggested that we place our order downstairs and assured us she would personally bring our food up to the rooftop. We ordered burgers, and while we waited, she kindly provided complimentary drinks. Throughout the entire experience, Kayla was professional, attentive, and extremely gracious. She handled a difficult situation with a positive attitude and made us feel valued as guests. It was clear that the issue was not with Kayla or the staff who showed up that day. In fact, there were only three people working brunch: Kayla, the chef, and the waiter. Considering the circumstances, they did an incredible job. Kayla truly made the best of a bad situation and deserves recognition for her efforts. My disappointment is with management's handling of reservations. If the rooftop was not ready to receive customers at opening, reservations should not have been accepted, or guests should have been notified in advance. We drove all the way from Tampa to visit Elevar, and it was frustrating to arrive on time for our reservation only to find the venue unavailable and have to wait for service to begin. That said, the rooftop is a really cute spot with a great atmosphere, and there was plenty of convenient street parking. Because of Kayla's outstanding service and the effort made by the small team working that day, we would absolutely return. We just hope management takes steps to ensure guests are properly informed in the future and that staffing issues do not impact the customer experience the way they did during our visit. Kayla was fantastic. The situation was not. She turned what could have been a completely negative experience into one that still left us wanting to come back.

I feel the term 'artisan' is so overused nowadays that I avoid using it, so can we just go with the Bill & Ted description that Kaona's tiki drinks are "Most Excellent!" You enter an immersive world that really outshines any tiki bar to which I've ever been. The magic radiates out of every nook and cranny. That was complimented by our bartender, Billy, knocking out some perfect killer classics, like a real Mai Tai, and Navy Grog, that, post the 1950s became kind of sugar filled, over-the-top mockeries of the Tiki cocktail arts. No mockery here. Just the old school magic. It's a very analog, and thankfully honest, unhipster revival for a generation who knows not of Bali Hai, Don the Beachcomber, the Mai Kai, and San Francisco's once-great, now seedy Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar, at the Fairmont Hotel, on Nob Hill. The crowd, including the regulars, were a lot of fun. In all, a really awesome evening! Five stars, for all of that, and a sixth for the memories.
