I called and they were able to fit me in, despite being busy and short-handed for the day. It took a little while because the car had to be towed but they still managed to fit me in. They were obviously busy when I arrived, with cars on every hoist, but they got me in after a short wait and diagnosed the problem - a broken suspension spring. Ughhh! The parts were ordered and it was just a matter of time now. Might as well check the brakes while the car was on the hoist. Darn, I needed brakes (pads and rotors)! I knew that but have been ignoring the screeching for a couple weeks. Ooops! Thankfully, with my sincere gratitude, all the work was completed, albeit after their regular closing time. I asked for a quote for oil change and braker fluid and for sure I know the oil change is better than getting it at my dealership already. I'll definitely recommend and will likely return for my next scheduled service. Harry, who's the owner, was personable and I noticed a steady stream of customers and calls during my time there so definitely call in and make an appointment as there's no scheduling online. I believe it's a family-run shop, I think I saw his son's certification on the wall as well.

What a complete waste of my time and money. Had to drive back today to get the tires on. Nice 200 km drive with nothing but an apology. No hey, here's 10% off. Nothing. My appointment was from 8:30-9am and the service technician arrived at 9:48am. He changed the…read morerotors and break pads and rushed the job. I went to work 15min after the service and 3 min in to my drive, I started smelling a burnt scent and started hearing grinding noise. I was advised that it was normal and sent me a video for the correct way to break in my break pads/rotors. I drove my car only short distances for the next few weeks and informed Uchanics that it is still making noises and the burning scent is still present. It turns out my calipers where seized. Due to the service tech rushing, he did not get to check the calipers. I got the rotors, break pads, calipers fixed at a different shop. This terrible experience happened in April. They've stopped responding to my emails and it is now September. I am still currently waiting for my reimbursement from Uchanics.
