This company is a complete RIP OFF i once had respect for this company thought Josh was a stand up guy. But then hired him again to work at my father's house to rip and replace a small roof over the kitchen cause there was a leak. Josh and his guys came in removed the skylight and some of the siding. He said he ripped everything and didn't. Just went over the roof he didn't rip. He promised he would be at the job the whole time as soon as i left he pulled away. He called me when they were done and I went up to double check everything. The siding wasn't put on properly he put tar all over the siding that met to the roof said he put flashing in and didn't. Charged my father $3000. My father paid as soon as he was done. Next day we went from one leak to 4 or 5. Called him Josh back he said he would take care of it. He attempted to try to fix it failed again. Offered to try to fix it i told him no we just want our money back he agreed to it and signed a agreement to make 3 payments. Payed me once and then avoided me. Made every excuse under the sun to pay me back. Then said his mother passed away so my father felt bad and we gave him a week to be with his family and when he got back to work to let us know. Never called us back never paid us back. So I called another roofer to come in replaced the skylight that Josh and his company broke when they removed it cause it wasn't put back in right, ripped and replaced all of the roofing put the proper flashing in and resided what needed to be resided. The new roofer took pictures and sent them to me for my records cause we filed with the BBB and small claims court. He is a good salesman but his work is not. I am now having a issue with my roof that he repaired 2 years ago. I will not be calling him back to attempt to fix it. read more

Good day, Joshua and Cindy of Flat Roof solutions promised to give me the remaining 800.00 today. Yesterday, i called and texted to confirm that I will get the balance of the refund today but they did not reply. Today, I sent texts and left three voicemails; however, they have not responded. I am hoping that this time, they keep their word. If they do not, we will pursue this matter legally and everyone who is in the same boat, should do the same. Joshua (who as far as I can tell is an officer / owner of this company) refuses to respond to emails, calls or texts for repairs needed on our roof which his company replaced. According to their contract they will be out to do repairs within two to five days after notification and it has been 3 weeks. After he replaced our roof we had the same leaks and new leaks. He replied to my request to repair them but never showed up even after telling me he would numerous times but now he no longer replies. I would not recommend this company as their work is shoddy and they do not appear to want to fix issues with their repairs. read more

CONSUMER BEWARE! Do not hire this company for anything. I am a contractor of almost 20 years. I hired Josh based on these reviews to replace a flat roof on a basic cape house dormer. They literally did everything wrong, and made a mess. I gave him a chance to refund the deposit and extra costs associated with fixing his mess-he promised to refund money and has failed to do so. -They roofed over another flat roof that they were supposed to remove first. -The new roof was never sealed down to the plywood sheathing -They roofed over tarpaper that was supposed to be removed. -They got tar all over the new siding and capping on this home. -They installed seams directly over other seams. -and lastly the white roof looked like crap with and all the black tar drips everywhere. I honestly don't think flat roof solutions could have done a worse job if they wanted to. It looks like they purposely intended to rip me off. There is no way this roof would have stayed in through one wind storm let alone the "10 year warranty" josh claims to offer. I have videos and pictures of how bad this is. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I would have been better off if he took the deposit and never came back. Him doing the job actually cost us more in repairs and cleanup (plus the deposit). Buyers beware. This company is the definition of a nightmare. Our company had our roof serviced about a year ago and we are still having leaks. We brought the issue to Josh's attention and initially, he was very kind and agreed that he would come and fix the problem. He would promise a date and time of when he and his team would come fix the leaks, then he would be a no call and no show EVERY TIME. This became an ongoing routine with Flat roof solutions. We would call, schedule an appointment and when the day would arrive, Josh was nowhere in sight. We would call and find out when he would be coming or if he was on the way and he would avoid our calls. When we would finally get in touch with him or his colleague Cindy, they would give us every excuse you can imagine. On December 19th, 2019 we had Josh sign a written contract stating "Flat roof solutions would come between March 10th and March 15th to reseal the roof where it needed with coating." We COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND with the pandemic everything was put on hold. However, everything has opened back up including Flat roof solutions, and we need Josh to fix the job he promised to do. I began calling about 3 and half weeks ago. I would call numerous times from our office phone number, left countless of messages with no response. I ended up calling from personal cell phone, left a message saying i had some questions about having my roof serviced. FIVE MINUTES LATER I RECEIVED A CALL BACK! HE THOUGHT I WAS A NEW CUSTOMER! THAT'S THE ONLY REASON WHY HE CALLED ME BACK!! When i said who i was and where i was calling from, you can hear the panic in his voice trying to come up with another excuse as to why he didn't call me back. Again, in the same Flat roof solutions fashion, we scheduled an appointment for Wednesday September 9th at 1 PM, he AGAIN was a no call and no show. When i called their office and spoke with Cindy, she said he had a "death in the family" and we rescheduled for Thursday September 17th at 1PM. Josh called the following Monday and said he didn't call and didn't show because he " was feeling under the weather". We've been keeping track of his excuses, which are actually more lies than excuses at this point. When September 17th arrived- surprise surprise, no call no show. When i called and spoke with Josh, he said no one told him he had an appointment with us and he was in New Jersey. Again, scheduled another appointment for the following day, Friday September 18th at 1 PM. I received a text message from Josh at 2 PM stating "sorry i'm stuck in traffic i should be there within the next hour and a half" I replied okay and waited...and waited and waited until 5:00pm, i gave up on calling because i was so upset and after lie after lie, i should have known he was going to pull the same song and dance he always does. We had such high hopes for this company. Josh was so nice to us in the beginning, but once he gets paid, he's nowhere to be found. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY TO FIX FLAT ROOF SOLUTIONS MISTAKES! The next step is taking Flat Roof Solutions to Small Claims Court. I can't believe i was going to recommend Flat roof solutions to fix my apartment building's roof and the building next door, now I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND FLAT ROOF SOLUTIONS TO ANYONE!! And as a small business, we want to support other small businesses and to see them thrive. Except Flat roof solutions. Josh fixed our roof in the spring of 2016, since we had a leak coming through near our skylight in our master bedroom. This past week, the leak was back. In fact, it was way worse than we'd ever seen it. My husband called him up immediately to explain what happened and see if he was available to fix it. Unfortunately, my husband had to call repeatedly just to reach him. Josh didn't return his messages on his own. When he finally did get a hold of Josh, Josh spoke to my husband with an attitude and explained that his work was "out of warranty" and that he'd have to re-do the same job for the full price. He told my husband that we could pay to get another one or two year warranty. (Apparently, there was a one year warranty on him fixing the leak in our roof...I didn't realize it worked that way, but okay...) When you imagine those mechanics who mask problems instead of fixing them just to keep you coming back/spending money, well...unfortunately, this company seems to be the real-life roofing equivalent of that, in our experience. We wised up and had another roofer come to assess the issue. The new company took pictures of what was going on and explained in detail to my husband what was wrong and how they would fix it. They also showed us how Flat Roof Solutions (Josh) just did the bare minimum, using tar on top of the problem, rather than actually fixing the leak. That is why it came back, worse than ever. Josh called my husband shortly after we got the quote from the new company. He was suddenly eager to come over and "fix it". I guess some availability popped up for him last minute and he wanted to get any job he could ($$$). My husband calmly asked him what he would do to fix it, mentioning what the other company said. Josh was very short with him, so my husband told him he was too nervous to use his services again. Josh and His guys did a great job coating my flat roof and fixed an area that was pooling with water. They were honest and fast. Best of all they didnt try to sell me crap i dont need. Josh told me that my roof will last another 5 years or so rather then scaring me into getting a new one now. they guaranteed the work so if something goes wrong with it they will come back. He did an excellent job on my store. He is very responsible person and on the job with his crew all the time. His price is very reasonable. We had no leak with the very heavy rain yesterday.
