DON'T USE THEM! They do poor work, do not honor their warentee and have gone a wall. I had them do my flat roof and the landing. Both roof & landing continues to leak. Last year they had me pay an additional $1800.00 stating if I do this additional work , for sure the landing will no longer leak. Well they bamboozled me twice alone just on the landing because it still leaks Since February the roof is leaking to the degree the ceiling gave way. Without coming to evaluate they stated its the drain not the roof. They kept making excuse, finally after threats, they came and tar around the drain and fixed the landing. Well they both still continue to leak. I had a plumber/ drain man evaluate and he stated the drain is fine the roof leaked around the drain pipe , he stated one of the pipe was not sealed. The leak had destroyed the plywood around the drain & the apartment is taken in water. I three way the plumber with Alex Stewart and he informed of above. Alex told me he would reach out to his father and get back to me with a plan. I never heard back from him and now it's May. He has not answered calls, text, or emails. So much for the Five year warentee. I have had two other professional roofing company up to evaluate and they have confirmed above. In addition they commented on how they did the entire roof wrong & insist I am going to have more problems. I have reported them to the BBB & soon the NYC licensing and plan to take all kinds of legal action. I have a big headache, complaints from my tenants, leaks and property damage! ! We hired them in 11/21. Since we've had to call them 5 times because we have had leaks with rainfall and melted snow. 4/5 times they sent someone out that said they fixed the issue but it's still leaking (a larger leak with a lot of damage to the ceiling and bedroom walls) and a hazard to those occupying that room. This 5th time we called/texted/emailed for the past 3 days and have not received a call back. They say on their website they do emergency work but this is not true because it's been 3 days and we are still waiting for them to return our call. It's been raining in New York and the leaks are getting worse. Unfortunately, they did a really bad job. The guarantee is 10 years. We are in year 3 with massive problems. several months ago I had a repair done. There was a leak where my DIRECTV antenna was they repaired it and gave me a receipt with a handwritten five year warranty after two months and a lot of rain. The leak was back after several phone calls to them and being told they would call me back, I still have a leak $1000 later and they ignore me. They fixed it with stuff they had on their truck. It took them 20 minutes if it had worked that would've been fine had they come back and honored their warranty that would've been great. These guys are awesome. After trying unsuccessfully to get another contractor to deal with a leak in my building, I called Alex. He sent his sons over the next day to look at the problem. All three of them were there with their crew the day after that to fix the problem. They spot-repointed and waterproofed the entire back of the building, fixed cracks, redid the flashing on 2 smaller roofs, fixed broken cement on the foundation, and unclogged and repaired gutters... all in one day. After informing me of work done to surrounding buildings in the area, I opted to let him resurface the roof since it was long overdue. He was polite and not pushy allowing me time to access whether to utilize his offered service. The job took no time since he had a partner (Alex) and used high pressure airless spray equipment. Instead of charging me a whole bunch of money to do work I didn't need, they recommended I just go to the hardware store and caulk a few places around my roof drain as an initial step.
