Although John wasn't my cheapest quote, he was close enough and I wanted to go with a roofer that believes in hand nailing roof shingles in, since it's way better for longevity of roof shingles staying in place and prevents damaging them during installation. Every other roofer uses nail guns, but John's crew does things the old fashioned and better way by hand nailing. My old roof was completely ripped off, the plywood that needed to be replaced was replaced, and my beautiful new roof was installed all within 8 hours.
