    Avocado toast
    Lena M.

My fiancé and I stopped here for a quick breakfast. I was originally gonna meet a friend here and do the riverwalk, but plans changed, so we just enjoyed our breakfast. We ordered at the front and were given a number. We chose to sit at a table outside since the weather was divine. Our food came out pretty quickly and they brought it to us. I got the avocado toast and he got the acai bowl. We both loved the sweet coconut flavor that was in his bowl. My fiancé got a drip coffee which was fine. I also adored my avocado toast. I love when avocado toasts have different flavor profiles and are elevated by things like pickled onions and feta. This was not only yummy, but pretty too. The flowers on top make it incredible for all your Yelp photos. This Flatbread & Butter location is a bit hidden and you have to take a hidden walk to it since it's not accessible by car. We didn't have a problem with this since we ubered here. I highly recommend coming here for a healthy and yummy breakfast.

Such good flavor combinations here!! I loved my Monday Blues matcha, that had blueberry, early grey syrup mixed with matcha. The banana latte was also delicious. Love the milk substitutions. Definitely would come back to try more!! Keep in mind the kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing time.

First time I visited, I got the bacon egg and cheese, lacked flavor slightly but still satisfied. Next time I visited I opted for the avocado toast and man am I happy I made that decision. Cant seem to find that photo but it was nothing shy of incredible. The lattes also never fail and are all super creamy and crafted beautifully. Overall super cute space perfect for a breakfast and chat

Smoked Salmon lox bagel and the biscoff lattee

Coming here for breakfast or lunch, even brunch, is always a good idea. The food is really good, personally a fav of the lox bagel and their avocado toast. I love their biscoff latte (I probably always get this drink). You definitely pay for what you get and it's worth every dollar. There's indoor and outdoor seating and it's perfect if you wanted to meet up someone for coffee. Staff is always friendly anytime you go in!

SO good!! Found Flatbread and Butter when looking for a fun coffee shop near the riverwalk. It's a bit hidden under a residential building and offices, but it's super cozy! Their food is excellent! Had the chicken melt and the breakfast burrito. Great size and filling for sure! Coffee was amazing. We had the Bananas and the Biscoff latte! Both were so good, I love anything banana and this hit just right - not too sweet of overpowering. I can't wait to come back!! Highly recommend. Service was super nice too, guy at the front really did great in helping us.

Nice service, ok latte. Decent breakfast sandwich. Had an iced latte with an egg and cheese on brioche. Sandwich was pretty good. Latte was not my favorite but ok.

I love flatbread and butter and their staff! Today, I tried the seasonal guava coffee drink, which has espresso, milk, and a guava coconut syrup with coconut flakes. I really didn't like the coconut flakes and I was feeling bad because I knew I was not going to drink it if I left with those in the drink. I didn't like how they would come up the straw, the texture just wasn't for me. I decided to let the barista know and ask if they could remake it without the coconut flakes. I always feel bad about asking for a remake, but I know that businesses would prefer to fix something rather than read about it online later... So I swallowed my pride and kindly asked. They immediately remade it and it was delicious without the coconut flakes!

We stopped here on a morning Riverwalk and fell in love with the vibe. I had a hot Amber Asam Black Tea with oat milk and the guava and coconut syrup and honestly it was so good it should be on the menu. My husband got an iced Biscoff latte and he loved it! We got our drinks quickly and would recommend to anyone in the area!

Stopped by Flatbread & Butter and was genuinely impressed - so much so that I had to come back twice in one week! We tried the iced Strawberry Bloom Matcha and the Biscoff Latte - both were flavorful and unique. The matcha had a lovely floral balance, and the latte had the perfect hint of cookie flavor. Also ordered the açaí bowl and avocado toast -- both tasted super fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with texture and flavor. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into each dish. I must add that the açai bowl is one of the best I have ever had! Service was warm and efficient -- the staff was helpful, welcoming, and patient while we browsed the menu.

Very simple menu with healthy and flavorful food made fresh. Definitely a college student vibe with service but no complaints. Enjoyed the Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon added.

I was looking for a new place to try and stumbled upon this gem! From the moment I walked in, I loved the beautifully decorated space. It's small but has plenty of seating, including outdoor options with benches. Sitting outside was a nice touch--you're right on the main strip of Ashley Dr (closer to 275), so you can enjoy your coffee while watching the city go by. It's not something we often take the time to do, but it made for such a nice experience. The staff was super friendly and recommended the biscoff coffee since I love French vanilla flavors--and wow, it was amazing! I also ordered the salmon bagel, and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, this is the standard all places should follow!!!!!! I stayed for about an hour and never felt rushed, which I really appreciated. Plus, they have a changing station in the bathroom, which is such a thoughtful touch for parents in the area. I'll definitely be back!

Right in a little alley way of sorts lies one of Tampa's newest coffee shops. It would've pretty hard to spot especially considering how busy traffic gets on the street but consider yourself lucky if you find it. I had the brown butter blueberry muffin which happens to be house made , instant points for that. The flavor was perfect , fluffy texture but not cake like so it crumbled apart beautifully. The brown butter really shines through and there seems to be some kind of herbal zest to it ? I couldn't put a finger on it specifically but the muffin was very enjoyable. I'll stop by for a drink next go around

Cute and small cafe, the vibes were nice to study at. They had a nice menu with some different coffees. I ordered a matcha with rose honey, and it didn't have too much flavor, i had to ask for more. It's a cute spot but a little overpriced, i don't think i'd come back, but im glad that i checked it out. They food also looks very cute and aestheticly plated.

The inside is a decent size with tables, cute decor and lots of plants. When I first walked in, I was taken back by how beautiful the pastry display cases were!! I had the hardest time choosing which pastry to get because they all looked like works of art!! Super friendly staff, great service but now to get to the goods: the coffee and pasties. This is a true authentic French bakery, no doubt in my mind. The iced salted caramel latte is the best I have EVER had. I could taste every flavor and it blended with the coffee perfectly. The ham and cheese croissant was so flakey, the perfect ham ratio and just all around fantastic. The pastry I got had raspberry jam and white chocolate ganache (I don't remember the name of it) and it was seriously the best pastry I've ever had. Most pastries can be too sweet, but this was just right. The jam tasted fresh and homemade (probably is!) and the white chocolate ganache gave it just a touch of sweetness. It is a little pricey so be warned: $48 for two coffees and two pastries. Definitely worth a splurge!!

They were huge and priced to match. Having been to France where they are a few euros, it feels inconceivable to pay $10 for a croissant but perhaps it's like getting 2. Yes, I would get it again but sticker makes it a treat opposed to a regular buy...sorry that's my one knock. Good lamination of the pastry dough with a cream filling made it both a great breakfast or snack treat to share. The pistachio crusted was wonderful. Guava cream even pleased a friend who tried our bounty. Service was pleasant but we didn't interact much since it was boxed and ready to go. When I spoke with the person behind the counter she told me she could make up a few more for me but that it would be about ten minutes or so which I was okay with and glad that she was willing to do so. I told her I would visit the other shops in the plaza and be back. I waited the time and returned only to find out that she was told by someone, the owner or manager that she couldn't make anymore. So I wasted my time and spent unnecessary money on a drink elsewhere to only have that result. I know it wasn't her fault but I thought that was bad customer service. Probably more than a year later, I was down in that area again so I called ahead to see if they had any available. They did so I stopped in and got one. Now, I know Pistachios are expensive but, I do not believe what I got was worth $10.00. Even with my love of Pistachios, I thought that the top of the croissant was too covered with them to make it an enjoyable bite as it was over powered on the half that was covered. The croissant itself was a little over baked as well. I do not remember what flavor I got the first visit but the croissant was properly baked that time. I know there can be off days and maybe I visited on those days given the customer service during the first visit and the over baked goods on the 2nd but I won't rule them out, just won't go out of my way to return either.

Paris Baguette has EVERYTHING I love. Cake. Latte. Bread. Pastries. What more can a woman ask for???!!! I was already swooning over the photos and menu options seen on Yelp and Google, but TASTING is BELIEVING and now I'm so glad that I can say it's everything I hoped it would be. It's like a little piece of Paris right here in Tampa! (I've been). So I've come for cake, stayed for latte and quiche, and because why not, threw in the salad so that lunch and dinner is taken care of, too! Okay, first off...what I got. The quiche is light and airy, and is basically a croissant with quiche filling instead of a quiche slice. I love croissants, so this was a nice treat for me that I could hold in my hand. The Salted Caramel Latte I thought was pretty unique, because yes, there's a PRETZEL on top of it (which I plucked off and ate the first thing when I got it. Tasted rich and delicious, and was a great companion for my food. Now, usually I don't bat so much as an eye for a salad, but that Korean beef salad looked fresh and yummy, and it would definitely take care of dinner for the day because, why not, while I'm out? It was a decent size too, not too filling, with a good variety of veggies such as cukes, carrots, tomatoes, on top of mixed greens with Korean beef, which was the only heavy thing on the salad so you don't feel weighed down. It's great to know if you're watching your waist line or caloric intake, Paris Baguette has you covered with no problem as the nutrition facts are listed on the menu so you can make an informed choice. Of course, their cakes are so good, you wouldn't help but want to indulge. Which brings me to my final point. When I saw MOCHA CAKE on the menu, I thought, OMG I have to have it!!! It's EVERYTHING I could want and more and I must ask WHY ISN'T MOCHA CAKE MORE OF A THING NOW???? The sponge cake was light and airy like a coffee cloud as was the buttercream, not too sweet, rounding out my whole meal in nice elegant, finish. The shop itself is cute, but Muffin and I ate outside since the outside area is dog friendly. It reminds me of those open-air cafes in Europe, especially in Paris, elevating my lunch experience with my dog. The staff is super nice and welcoming on approach, too. It's a bit of a drive for me, but it's really not THAT bad depending on when I go and the business hours help, too. I can't wait to go back and make this a regular spot whether I just want a tasty healthy lunch, or I seek to indulge!

This new location is massive, but the food is still the same. I have several critiques, but the only things I'm going to mention are these: first, the pastry counter is way too high. No one can really see over it at the employee behind unfortunately, and patrons don't seem to understand how to get in line or order. There needs to be permanent markers set up so people can view from behind the counter areas and then order once they are called it has been a cluster the five times I've been into the shop. As well as the employees are visibly stressed because of the above Second, I don't think there was any reason to bring in a name-brand coffee shop. You are a huge Tampa brand that has been around for a very long time, and you could have sold your own coffee for a much cheaper price. kind of crushed the charm of a true cuban coffee experience. Lastly, there should be a one-ticket system. I enjoy buying something from every area of the store, but having to swipe my credit card three or four times is a buzzkill. There is no reason, in this day and age, that this should be a problem. You should be able to carry your ticket until you're ready to check out. This is one of my favorite places of all time an the new location is very nice, I'm sure it will just take some time to get everything figured out.
