I've have the latte special, flat white and a cappuccino and had a positive experience across all boards. My only gripe about this place is that I have to pay for parking but that's not flatbread and butters fault nor is it then taking my money but that is the reason why I'm not here daily. Stopped by Flatbread & Butter for breakfast and a coffee on a Sunday morning at 10am! Was not super busy which was great. I ordered a brown butter blueberry muffin, smoked salmon bagel, and the Freddo Spro. The blueberry muffin was decent but nothing worth writing home about. Wouldn't go out of my way to order it again. The smoked salmon bagel was great. I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend! The Freddo Spro was awesome! I would absolutely order this again and was very impressed by it. I typically prefer a pretty simple iced latte, but this was a fun and different drink, without being anything too out of the ordinary. My fiancé and I stopped here for a quick breakfast. I was originally gonna meet a friend here and do the riverwalk, but plans changed, so we just enjoyed our breakfast. We ordered at the front and were given a number. We chose to sit at a table outside since the weather was divine. Our food came out pretty quickly and they brought it to us. I got the avocado toast and he got the acai bowl. We both loved the sweet coconut flavor that was in his bowl. My fiancé got a drip coffee which was fine. I also adored my avocado toast. I love when avocado toasts have different flavor profiles and are elevated by things like pickled onions and feta. This was not only yummy, but pretty too. The flowers on top make it incredible for all your Yelp photos. This Flatbread & Butter location is a bit hidden and you have to take a hidden walk to it since it's not accessible by car. Such good flavor combinations here!! I loved my Monday Blues matcha, that had blueberry, early grey syrup mixed with matcha. The banana latte was also delicious. Love the milk substitutions. Coming here for breakfast or lunch, even brunch, is always a good idea. The food is really good, personally a fav of the lox bagel and their avocado toast. I love their biscoff latte (I probably always get this drink). You definitely pay for what you get and it's worth every dollar. I love flatbread and butter and their staff! Today, I tried the seasonal guava coffee drink, which has espresso, milk, and a guava coconut syrup with coconut flakes. I really didn't like the coconut flakes and I was feeling bad because I knew I was not going to drink it if I left with those in the drink. I didn't like how they would come up the straw, the texture just wasn't for me. I decided to let the barista know and ask if they could remake it without the coconut flakes. I always feel bad about asking for a remake, but I know that businesses would prefer to fix something rather than read about it online later... So I swallowed my pride and kindly asked. We tried the iced Strawberry Bloom Matcha and the Biscoff Latte - both were flavorful and unique. The matcha had a lovely floral balance, and the latte had the perfect hint of cookie flavor. Also ordered the açaí bowl and avocado toast -- both tasted super fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with texture and flavor. I was looking for a new place to try and stumbled upon this gem! From the moment I walked in, I loved the beautifully decorated space. It's small but has plenty of seating, including outdoor options with benches. Sitting outside was a nice touch--you're right on the main strip of Ashley Dr (closer to 275), so you can enjoy your coffee while watching the city go by. It's not something we often take the time to do, but it made for such a nice experience. The staff was super friendly and recommended the biscoff coffee since I love French vanilla flavors--and wow, it was amazing! I also ordered the salmon bagel, and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, this is the standard all places should follow!!!!!! I stayed for about an hour and never felt rushed, which I really appreciated. Right in a little alley way of sorts lies one of Tampa's newest coffee shops. It would've pretty hard to spot especially considering how busy traffic gets on the street but consider yourself lucky if you find it. I had the brown butter blueberry muffin which happens to be house made , instant points for that. The flavor was perfect , fluffy texture but not cake like so it crumbled apart beautifully. I love that there is finally a coffee shop in Tampa selling espresso tonics. It is about time! They are sourcing beans from Bandit Coffee in St. Pete, which has always been a stop for me. They have a nice espresso machine too and some brunch menu items. The location is hidden in the back of the building where its located so you might not see it, but it isn't far from Pacific Counter and the Straz in downtown Tampa. There is some signage to help you find it though. Baristas are really friendly and the bathroom is clean. There are plenty of plugs and Wi-Fi too which is a plus. Def. found my new spot in downtown. This week i decided to try out Flatbread & Butter in Tampa. I visited this charming establishment every day this week to mainly try the coffee selection. I can confidently say that it's a hidden gem well worth a visit for anyone with some spare time in the area, parking can be a bit tricky at times though. First off I decided to try the espresso on its own, and while it was okay, I found it to be slightly too acidic for my personal taste preferences. However in the latte the espresso is quite delicious highly recommend getting a latte while checking out. The next day i ordered a latte as well because i knew i already liked it, but the barista made it way too sweet that time with it resulting in me having to discard of my drink after just a few sips, but my lox bagel was on point pretty standard but tasty. On my last day checking them out i got an iced Americano and tried there matcha. I found it to be a trend in Tampa with coffee shops, offering Matcha while making it wrong and tasting terrible and F&B continues the reputation. I don't recommend ordering the Matcha mainly for its taste and it's steep price tag for such little you're getting. overall I'd give this place a 3.5 out of 5, if I was in the area, I would stop by for a latte however I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. Personally, the price tag on the items are a bit too high for what you're getting, All the flavors of the items are quite standard so I'd rather get it close by and affordable. But I did enjoy my time checking out this local shop, all the baristas was nice and welcoming every time I came in for the most part I could tell they rather hang out and talk amongst themselves first, but they're at work so they helped me. Inside was cute, clean and never really busy. I mainly came in between 9 and 11 AM But it was always good vibes entering. read more

I live nearby and come in FB&B at least weekly. It's the same crew of baristas and they are all awesome. Phil is the one there the most when I come in, he has great customer service- VERY kind. And the most important part, he makes amazing lattes in record time. All the baristas care about their drink quality and are very well trained. Great spot, if you go, tip your baristas in CASH and tell them they're doing great please. My recommendations: Honey Rose latte- hot or iced, it's delicious! Turkey Club- why is it so good???? Avocado toast- see above! Local place, deserves recognition. They've got a spot in St Pete and this is their second location I believe. If you're traveling in looking for parking, there's street parking as well as the TBT parking garage. read more

The avocado toast (gluten-free) was a perfect 10 for both of us, and the chicken melt was phenomenal. We meant to take pictures, but the food was so good, we finished it quickly!
